Abstract:
Absract: Boti Tribe is one of sub-tribe of Dawan as one of oldest tribe in Timor Island in East Nusa Tenggara. Boti Tribe divided into two, Inner Boti Tribe located in Boti Kingdom and lead by usif (king) and being Halaika follower, and Outer Boti Tribe, is followed Indonesian recognized religion. Boti Tribe have believe Uis Pah (Earth Ruler) and Uis Neno (Sky Ruler). Belief of Uis Pah become central point how Boti people see nature. Because of this, this research conducted to learn their perception to carry them into how to nurture the nature where they are live. Approach of this research using qualitative descriptive. With this model, research is expected to able uncover fact in the field from a number of events and phenomenon. This research is able to give interpretation of perception in society and reality that happened also connection between them. Along with changing times, Boti Tribe survives in primitive believe and uphold their customs strictly to treat and worship nature. For them, nature is embodiment of God itself.Keywords: Halaika, Boti Tribe, Environment Abstrak: Suku Boti adalah salah satu suku dari sub Suku Dawan sebagai suku tertua di Pulau Timor di Nusa Tenggara Timur. Suku Boti terbagi menjadi dua, yakni Suku Boti Dalam yang berada di wilayah kerajaan Boti dan dipimpin oleh seorang usif (raja) dan menjadi penganut Halaika, dan Suku Boti luar, yang sudah memiliki agama resmi. Suku Boti percaya pada Uis Pah (Penguasa Bumi) dan Uis Neno (Penguasa Langit). Kepercayaan pada Uis Pah menjadi titik sentral dalam masyarakat Boti memandang alam. Atas dasar ini, penelititian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mereka kemudian membawa pada perilaku dalam memelihara lingkungan hidup di mana mereka berada. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan model penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat mengungkapkan fakta yang terjadi di lapangan dari sejumlah kejadian dan fenomena-fenomena yang ada. Penelitian ini juga memberi tafsiran atas persepsi dalam sebuah masyarakat dan kenyataan yang terjadi serta hubungan di antaranya. Seiring dengan zaman yang terus berubah, Suku Boti terus bertahan dalam kepercayaan primitif, dan menjunjung luhur adat istiadat secara ketat dalam memperlakukan dan memuja alam. Abstract:
Lopo Boti adalah sebuah bangunan tradisional milik Suku Boti, salah satu suku tertua di Pulau Timor, NTT. Bangunan ini mengandung nilai-nilai filosofis yang tinggi dan berperan penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat Suku Boti. Penelitian ini adalah suatu penelitian kualitatif berdesain etnografi yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi unsur-unsur matematis yang terkandung dalam Lopo Boti. Desain penelitiannya menggunakan desain etnomatematika oleh Alangui yang didasarkan pada empat pertanyaan dasar yaitu: where is it to look? how is it to look? what is it? what does it mean? Subjek penelitiannya yaitu masyarakat Suku Boti, khususnya Suku Boti Dalam, salah satu bagian dari Suku Boti yang masih memegang teguh tradisi Boti dalam hidup kesehariannya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung di Desa Boti dan wawancara bersama subjek penelitian. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa unsur-unsur geometri meliputi unsur-unsur primitif, konsep jarak dalam ruang, kesebangunan, dan luas permukaan, serta unsur-unsur barisan dan deret aritmetika terkandung dalam Lopo Boti. Berdasarkan unsur-unsur tersebut maka beberapa kemampuan matematis yang dapat dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran matematika bermediakan Lopo Boti yaitu kemampuan merepresentasi, kemampuan visual-spasial, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan menginvestigasi, dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah.

Abstract:
Bonet is one of local wisdoms of Boti tribe that is also used as a traditional communication media to deliver messages of development. This study was conducted to find out the experiences of Boti Tribe in using Bonet as a traditional medium of communication in order to stimulate and increase community participation in rural development. This study used a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method. The Boti government in collaboration with the King of Boti has consistently used Bonet as an alternative medium of communication to convey various messages about development. In addition, according to the real experience of Boti local government, Bonet is considered as a powerful media to increase community participation in rural development. Keywords: Local Wisdom, Bonet, Phenomenological, Participation in Development ABSTRAK Bonet merupakan salahsatu kearifan lokal masyarakat adat Boti yang dimanfaatkan sebagai saluran komunikasi tradisional guna menyampaikan pesan-pesan pembangunan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman masyarakat adat Boti dalam menggunakan bonet sebagai saluran komunikasi tradisional guna memacu serta meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologi. Pemerintah Boti bekerjasama dengan Raja Boti, secara konsisten telah memanfaatkan Bonet sebagai media alternatif guna menyampaikan berbagai pesan pembangunan. Tidak hanya itu saja. Berdasarkan pengalaman nyata dari Pemerintah Desa Boti, penggunaan Bonet dianggap cukup ampuh memacu dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa. Studi dalam penelitian ini mengenai pengaruh daya tarik wisata dan aksesibilitas terhadpa tingkat kunjungan wisata ke Desa Boti. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (1) apakah daya tarik wisata mempengaruhi tingkat kunjungan wisata ke Desa Boti, (2) apakah aksesibilitas mempengaruhi tingkat kunjungan wisata ke desa Boti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, data-data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dalam kondisi yang asli dan alamiah. Instrumen kunci dalam peneltian ini adalah peneliti sebagai alat penelitian, artinya peneliti sebagai alat utama pengumpul data dengan metode observasi, menyebarkan lembar pertanyaan dan melakukan wawancara. Pengumpulan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Keputusan dan hasil dari penelitian dikaitkan serta dianalisis secara descriptif, dengan mentrasnformasi datamentah ke dalam bentuk data yang mudah dimengerti dan ditafsirkan, termasuk menyusun, memanipulasi, dan menyajikan supaya menajdi suatu informasi. Kemudian menginterpretasi data sebagai kajian pokok. Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah : pengaruh daya tarik wisata dalam hal ini daya tarik kebudayaan dengan presentasi 95% mempengaruhi tingkat kunjungan wisata ke desa boti, sedangakan pengaruh aksesibilitas dengan presentasi 90% mengatakan buruk. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan saran-saran untuk menciptakan pariwisata berkelanjutan di desa Boti (1) perlu ada perda untuk desa Boti (2) memperhatikan dan memperbaiki kondisi jalan ke desa Boti (3) diperhatikan sarana transportasi ke Desa Boti.

Abstract:
The study is intended to describe the function of nine days in the Boti's cosmology of the timorese, because for indigenous people, time is always cosmically understood, therefore time is a cycle, always repeating. In the meantime for modern humans, time is mechanically understood and linear. That is, it has a beginning and an end that cannot be repeated. The research used is a kind of qualitative study, which includes information about the Boti in Timor as one of the traditional community communities that still retain a cosmological view of time. That view is nine days (neon) not seven days, according to modern times even the Atoni who already profess Christianity. The study of the Boti's cosmological views was then analyzed from the "sacred time" perspective according to Mircea Eliade's thinking. The analysis produced the find: modern society needs to learn from the life ethos of the Boti in which time is appreciated as a creator and therefore requires a more in-depth study of the concept of time in the local tradition of cultural wealth.

Abstract:
Anthropolinguistics studies examines linguistic phenomena based on a linguistic scientific perspective and not cultural studies. The phenomenon of language is the phenomenon used e in various events. This study examines Sef Alumama’ ritual speech in the Boti community. The data in this study are recorded, transcribed, translated, and coded with the principle of managing corpus data. Specific theories and methods are used to answer the question of how is the study of anthropolinguistics applying in the ritual speech 'Sef Alumama' at the Boti community in East Nusa Tenggara ? The main theory in this research is anthropolinguistics theory with cognitive semiotic theory as a specific theory. The results showed that a lexicon has linguistic attributes connected textually and intertextually. This lexicon or lingual form can be visualized in a cognitive map based on linguistic principles. Furthermore, Dawan's morphosyntaxis shows specific characteristics in the use of pronouns. In-depth studies conclude that the pronoun is used as a semantic interpretation and harmonization of oral literary sounds.Linguistik kebudayaan menjadi ranah pengkajian bahasa yang menelaah fenomena kebahasaan berdasarkan sudut pandang keilmuan linguistik dan bukan kajian budaya. Fenomena kebahasaan adalah fenomena penggunaan bahasa dalam berbagai perisiwa. Penelitian ini mengkaji tuturan ritual sef alu mama pada masyrakat Boti. Data dalam penelitian ini ialah tuturan ritual yang direkam, ditranskrip, ditranslasi, dan dikodekan dengan prinsip pengelolahan data korpus. Teori dan metode yang spesifik digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana kajian linguistik kebudayaan dalam tuturan ritual ‘sef alu mama’ pada masyarkat Boti di Nusa Tenggara Timur. Teori payung dalam penelitian ini ialah teori linguistik kebudayaan dengan teori semiotik kognitif sebagai teori spesifik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebuah leksikon memiliki atribut kebahasaan yang dapat bergayut secara tekstual bahkan intertekstual. Leksikon atau bentuk lingual ini dapat divisualisasikan dalam peta kognitif berdasarkan prinsip kebahasaan. Lebih lanjut, morfosintaksis bahasa Dawan menunjukkan ciri spesifik dalam penggunaan pronomina. Kajian mendalam menyimpukan bahwa pronomina tersebut digunakan sebagai pemaknaan secara semantis dan harmonisasi bunyi sastra lisan.

This paper describes the characteristic of marriage in society of Boti in East Nusa Tenggara who hold the original trust Halaika.The results shows behaviors that indicate homage to supernatural of Uis Pah (Ruler of the Earth), Uis Oe (Ruler of Water) and Uis Neno (Ruler of Heaven) in a series of marriages that is rich of value and meaning.

A utilização da Internet cresceu amplamente nos últimos anos e tem propiciado o desenvolvimento de diversas ferramentas de comunicação via web. Têm se destacado, de maneira especial, as ferramentas que possibilitam a disponibilização online de conteúdos diversos, criados pelos próprios usuários, como as wikis. O sucesso obtido pelas wikis deve-se, em grande parte, à pequena quantidade de esforço necessário para a edição das páginas, indicando que esta característica é muito apreciada pelos usuários. Visando tornar o processo de edição de wikis ainda mais ágil, este trabalho apresenta uma proposta de como os mensageiros instantâneos podem auxiliar nesta tarefa. Assim, uma nova nova forma de interação no processo de edição de wikis, por meio de Mensageiro Instantâneo, foi projetada e implementada. Essa forma de interação proposta altera a forma de interação com wikis convencional, no sentido de possibilitar que o autor do conteúdo a ser editado na wiki não necessite mudar de seu ambiente de comunicação, que atualmente tem sido muito utilizado, o de troca de mensagens por meio do mensageiro instantâneo. Além disso, esta pesquisa possibilitou a identificação de diversas vantagens e desvantagens da utilização de bots de mensageiros instantâneos, encontradas na literatura, bem como durante os experimentos e estudos de caso realizados
The Internet usage has grown significantly in recent years and has fomented the development of several communication tools via web. Tools that make available the various online contents created by the users, such as wikis should be especially highlighted. The success achieved by wikis is due in large extent to the small amount of effort required to edit pages. This is an indicator that this feature is very appreciated by users. In order to make the editing process of wikis even faster, this work presents a proposal of using integrated Instant Messaging tools features with wikis. Thus, a new means of interaction in the process of editing in wikis, via Instant Messenger, was designed and implemented. This proposed means of interaction augments the way of interaction with conventional wikis, by enabling authors to edit the wiki content without having to shift from his/her communication environment in use. This proposal is supported by the fact that Instant Messaging systems have been widely used and adopted. Moreover, this research provides evidences to help the identification of advantages and disadvantages of the use of bots in Instant Messaging, from the results of the experiments and case studies conducted

Research on bot detection on online social networks has received a considerable amount of attention in Swedish news media. Recently however, criticism of the research field of bot detection on onlinesocial networks has been presented, highlighting the need to investigate the research field to determine if information based on flawed research has been spread. To investigate the research field, this study has attempted to review the process of bot detection on online social networks and evaluate the proposed criticism of current bot detection research by: conducting a literature review of bots on online social networks, conducting a literature review of methods for bot detection on online social networks, and detecting bots in three different politically associated data sets with Swedish Twitter accounts usingfive different bot detection methods. Results of the study showed minor evidence that previous research may have been flawed. Still, based on the literature review of bot detection methods, it was determined that this criticism was not extensive enough to critique the research fieldof bot detection on online social networks as a whole. Further, problems highlighted in the criticism were recognized to potentially have arose from a lack of differentiation between bot types in research. An insufficient differentiation between bot types in research was also acknowledged as a factor which could lead to difficulties ingeneralizing the results from bot detection studies measuring the effect of bots on political opinions. Instead, the study acknowledged that a good bot differentiation could potentially improve bot detection.

Abstract:
Nowadays, botnet attacks that aim to overwhelm the network layer by malformed packets and other means are usually mitigated by hardware intrusion detection systems. Application layer botnet attacks, on the other hand, are still a problem. In case of web applications, these attacks contain legitimate traffic that needs to be processed. If enough bots partake in this attack, it can lead to inaccessibility of services provided and other problems, which in turn can lead to financial loss. In this thesis, we propose a detection and mitigation system that can detect botnet attacks in realtime using statistical approach. This system is divided into several modules that together cooperate on the detection and mitigation. These parts can be further expanded. During the testing phase, the system was able to capture approximately 60% of botnet attacks that often focused on spam, login attacks and also DDoS. The number of false positive addresses is below 5%.

Abstract:
Nous avons, dans le cadre de ce travail, développé la Décharge à Barrière Diélectrique (DBD) dans deux électrofiltres de géométries différentes. L'un des électrofiltres est de configuration Fil -Cylindre et l'autre de configuration Plan-Plan. Le premier volet de l'analyse de la précipitation électrostatique a consisté à déterminer l'efficacité de collecte des électrofiltres. Les résultats obtenus ont montré que l'utilisation de la DBD pour la précipitation donnait non seulement de très bons résultats en configuration Fil-Cylindre, mais également en configuration Plan-Plan (plus de 99% d'efficacité). Le second volet de notre étude a été consacré à la caractérisation des phénomènes EHD à l'intérieur des électrofiltres DBD à l'aide de moyens métrologiques optiques. Les résultats ont montré que le vent électrique a une influence minime sur la précipitation. En dehors du processus de génération du vent électrique dû à la différence de rayon de courbure entre les électrodes, il semblerait que les streamers soient impliqués dans le phénomène de précipitation. D'un point de vue organisationnel, ce travail s'articule autour de quatre chapitres. Dans le premier chapitre, nous présentons la précipitation électrostatique comme un outil de dépollution de l'air. Le deuxième chapitre est consacré à la caractérisation électrique des électrofiltres. Le troisième chapitre aborde l'analyse des performances granulométrique des électrofiltres. Enfin, le quatrième chapitre traite l'aspect EHD des phénomènes opérant à l'intérieur des électrofiltres
In this work, we developed a Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) in two opposite configurations of ESP. One of them is based on Wire-to-Cylinder configuration; the second is on Plate-to-Plate configuration. The first step of our analysis of the electrostatic precipitation was the evaluation of ESP collection efficiency. The results have shown that, using the DBD, we can effectively precipitate in Wire-to-Cylinder configuration as well as in Plate-to-Plate configuration (more than 99% of efficiency). The second step of the study was devoted to the characterization of the EHD flow phenomenon inside the investigated ESP, using Particle Image Velocimetry technique. The obtained results have established that the electric wind has a minimal effect on electrostatic precipitation. Outside the usual process of electric wind generation, the streamers seemed to be implicated in the precipitation process. This work is articulated around four chapters. In the first one, electrostatic precipitation is investigated as a pollution control device. The second underlines the electrical characterization of the ESP. In the third, the study of ESP performance in terms of precipitation is examined. Finally, the fourth is devoted to the characterization of the EHD flow phenomenon inside the investigated ESP

Abstract:
The video and computer gaming industry has seen a significant rise in popularity over the last decades and is now the worlds biggest digital entertainment industry [market-gamingvsmovies]. Where games meant Space Invaders and Doom in the old days, gaming is now everything from ultra-realistic shooter games to farm management simulators integrated in the Facebook platform, to games on our smartphones and tablets. This popularity has brought with it the attention of hackers and exploiters, and game cheats flourish in the shady parts of the internet. This thesis has two parts. The first part presents a background study, an oveorview of today's situation in regard to cheating and anti-cheating in online games. The second part is a case study about bots and bot detection in Browser-Based Multiplayer Games (BBMG).In the background study, the main finding is that there are over twenty websites selling cheats or cheat subscriptions, and that the type of cheats available for a game is heavily dependent on the game genre. Most or all first-person shooters (FPS) have available aimbots and wallhacks, and all major massively multiplayer online games (MMO) are exposed to bot programs. The cheats are being sold either alone or through monthly subscriptions, allowing free use of all cheats for all supported games by that vendor. There have been many anti-cheat actors over the past decade, but three known services being continually developed. The two biggest are Valve Anti-Cheat, used by most games managed through Valve's online gaming platform Steam, and PunkBuster, which protects amongst others the Battlefield series. The last big anti-cheat software is the proprietary Warden, used only in Blizzard's own games like the Diablo. Warcraft and Starcraft games. Many cheats are still able to bypass the security mechanisms provided by these, and it is a continuos arms race between cheat developers and anti-cheat developers, just like in the virus and anti-virus industry.In the case study, two bots were written for a non-disclosed BBMG and their performance was tested quantitatively by playing several game accounts in parallel. It showed that bot use yields large performance gains both in the early game stages and for advanced players. As a result of the case study research on bots in online games, a Bot-Detection System (BDS) is created and presented in the last chapter. The goal of the BDS is to detect the use of bots in BBMG by identifying a set of attributes and comparing these to average human behavior. A score system ranging from 0 to 100 is introduced, where the average human behavior is defined as 0, while increasing non-human behavior is given a score >0, with max 100. The BDS is then employed on the two bots and returns scores of 64 and 52, while the six human play testers receive scores of 1 or 0.
