Abstract:
The study is intended to describe the function of nine days in the Boti's cosmology of the timorese, because for indigenous people, time is always cosmically understood, therefore time is a cycle, always repeating. In the meantime for modern humans, time is mechanically understood and linear. That is, it has a beginning and an end that cannot be repeated. The research used is a kind of qualitative study, which includes information about the Boti in Timor as one of the traditional community communities that still retain a cosmological view of time. That view is nine days (neon) not seven days, according to modern times even the Atoni who already profess Christianity. The study of the Boti's cosmological views was then analyzed from the "sacred time" perspective according to Mircea Eliade's thinking. The analysis produced the find: modern society needs to learn from the life ethos of the Boti in which time is appreciated as a creator and therefore requires a more in-depth study of the concept of time in the local tradition of cultural wealth.

Abstract:
Anthropolinguistics studies examines linguistic phenomena based on a linguistic scientific perspective and not cultural studies. The phenomenon of language is the phenomenon used e in various events. This study examines Sef Alumama’ ritual speech in the Boti community. The data in this study are recorded, transcribed, translated, and coded with the principle of managing corpus data. Specific theories and methods are used to answer the question of how is the study of anthropolinguistics applying in the ritual speech 'Sef Alumama' at the Boti community in East Nusa Tenggara ? The main theory in this research is anthropolinguistics theory with cognitive semiotic theory as a specific theory. The results showed that a lexicon has linguistic attributes connected textually and intertextually. This lexicon or lingual form can be visualized in a cognitive map based on linguistic principles. Furthermore, Dawan's morphosyntaxis shows specific characteristics in the use of pronouns. In-depth studies conclude that the pronoun is used as a semantic interpretation and harmonization of oral literary sounds.

Abstract:
AbstractThis study aims to explain the role of Usif in environmental management to maintain ecological balance, preserve natural resources and no less important is to prevent all forms of disasters due to natural damage. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. In qualitative research, this is possible to do, namely by using the perspective of pragmatism in which researchers focus on the problem or problem to be solved. The results showed that usif's position in the traditional governance structure of the Boti community as the supreme leader and role model of the community, usif played an important role in developing and implementing customary rules based on hereditary traditions. One of the cultural values implanted by usif in the community is about the cosmological understanding that mountains, rocks and trees are analogous to bones, water as blood, land as meat which must be protected by everyone. Prohibitions concerning water, forests and animals are a very important part of life. These cultural values are then believed to be the most effective ways of managing nature.

Abstract:
AbstractThrough particle-in-cell simulations, the evolution of the bump-on-tail instability (BoTI) is studied for plasma subject to one-dimensional mechanical compression. It is shown that the final state of BoTI differs from that described by quasilinear theory for stationary bulk plasma and can depend on the compression history. The transformation of thermal energy into wave energy increases the plasma compressibility, thereby decreasing the amount of mechanical work required to compress the plasma to a specified size. Also, the energy spectrum of the excited modes can be tailored by choosing a particular compression scenario, offering a new technique for manipulating plasmas mechanically.

Abstract:
Perhaps the part of Rubén Darío’s oeuvre that has presented the most difficulties for literary critics is his short stories, as many of these works were not published in one collected volume while the author was alive, but remained scattered in the pages of magazines and journals in the cities where the Nicaraguan resided. Thanks to their invaluable archival work, researchers such as Erwin Kempton Mapes, Diego Manuel Sequeira, Julio Saavedra Molina, Raúl Silva Castro, Máximo Soto Hall, Regino E. Boti, Teodoro Picado, Julio Caillet-Bois, Enrique Anderson Imbert, Ernesto Mejía Sánchez, Pedro Luis Barcia, Jorge Eduardo Arellano and Günther Schmigalle located, between 1920 and 1980, a considerable amount of prose texts written by Darío. These works have been collected under the title Cuentos completos. However, frequent discoveries of testimonies that add to Darío’s short story corpus allow us to argue that some of his texts may not have been unearthed yet. This paper discusses one of such cases; a text signed by R. D., titled “Psique”, was published in the Buenos Aires magazine La Hoja, dated on March 15th, 1894 —a year during which Darío lived in Argentina’s capital city. Aside from offering a transcription of the document, the paper analyses the short story’s features to highlight the thematic and stylistic similarities that “Psique” shares with other texts by Darío.

Abstract:
This article focuses on the region of Central Timor, settled by the Atoni Meto people, who live in round houses built on the ground. There seem to have developed local peculiarities in vernacular architecture, which require the use of wooden materials of different size, shape and state of processing. Changes in local vernacular architecture were also induced by the recent availability of modern materials such as bricks, concrete and corrugated iron. The aim of this article is to explore how such building materials are used and whether they are/ can be integrated into local vernacular building traditions. Fieldwork conatining architectural survey was conducted in Timor in May 2004 in Maubesi, and in June 2011 near Soe and Nikiniki (villages None, Supul and Boti) and Kefamenanu (among others the villages of Fafenesu, Maslete and Tamkessi). Some of the materials seem to have a strong effect on the layout or design of the buildings, whereas in other cases, such effects are far more subtle. In some cases, the new materials are used to imitate the more traditional ones, with astonishing results, and often incorporating structural details from the older technology and traditional materials which are copied. New materials already influence the building due to their different, new properties, and designs are devised to adapt to these changes, which in the end result in an altered building. In other cases, there is no compatibility at all, and old forms and designs are abandoned in favour of a new concept supported by new materials

Abstract:
Acute chest pain is one of the biggest challenges in diagnostic and therapeutic terms due to a number of differential diagnostic options. Boerhaave syndrome is a rare condition, but at the same time one of the most lethal diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. For this reason, a high level of suspicion is required in patients with presenting retrosternal pain. Classic symptoms such as vomiting, chest pain, and subcutaneous emphysema may not always be present. The approach to the patient with Boerhaave syndrome is multidisciplinary. The patient needs urgent rehydration, antibiotic treatment and consultation with a surgery specialist. Treatment is based on the clinical picture of the patient, the location and size of the perforation, but the most important prognostic factor is the time of diagnosis. There are still no official guidelines for the treatment of this condition, and knowledge of treatment options is based on individual case reports from the literature.

Abstract:
Aim. Highlighting the oral manifestations seen in various genetic syndromes and congenital patients hospitalized in a pediatric hospital in Bucharest (Romania). Methods. Retrospective study using medical records of pediatric patients (age = 1 day – 18 years) admitted for a period of three years (1.01.2010-31.12.2012). We selected only the medical records of patients diagnosed with genetic disorders and birth defects (GDD) of which were selected diseases that were associated with oral manifestations (OM). Were established for the whole lot and, separately, for each year: OM disease prevalence, age of first hospitalization, type OM, OM distribution by gender. Data were processed with the program Informatic Hypocrate/DRG. Results. Out of the 25213 hospitalized patients, 2216 (8, 78%) have GDD, between that 78 (3.51%) have been associated with OM. Anual distribution: 2010 – 9226 hospitalized patients, 730 (7.91%) GDD, between that 28 (3.83%) with OM; 2011 – 8,136 hospitalized patients, 769 (9.45%) GDD, between that 23 (2.99%) with OM; 2012 – 7,851 hospitalized patients, 717 (9.13%) GDD, between that 27 (3.76%) with OM. At 36 (46.15%) among patients with OM associated with GDD, age at first hospitalization was between one day-one year. The most frequent cases (23.07%) was cleft lip or palate and was associated with facial dysmorphism and mental retardation. In 20.51% of cases were associated with dental Anomalies of number and structure, in 11, 53% cases – Dental Anomalies of shapes, in 8.97% cases of micro/macroglossia. In a few cases met: mandibular hypoplasia and mucocutaneous. There were no differences between the two sexes. Conclusions. A great variety of OM was found in about 3.51% of hospitalized patients with GDD. Most of them were cleft lip or palate and required multidisciplinary intervention at very early age.

Abstract:
We herein report an unusual case of a patient developing both cardiovascular and cerebrovascular sequelae to COVID-19 pneumonia. While COVID patients have been reported to experience one or the other, there has been little discussion of the presentation and pathophysiology of a patient presenting with injury to both organ systems. This article will consider the pathophysiology common to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular injury in the setting of COVID as well mechanisms that affect each system separately. It also discusses useful investigations which may assist in diagnosis and treatment of patients presenting as such.

Abstract:
Aim. Designing a complex assessment questionnaire of oral status and quality of life in terms of oral health in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Material and method. This study is required because there are lacks of information in Romania, related to oral status of patients with chronic kidney disease – chronic renal failure, with or without nephritic syndrome, with or without dialysis. Rationale study was conducted by internationally indexed database query. The design study consists to finally obtain a questionnaire to collect medical information related to: the stage of kidney disease, main cardiac, liver, skeletal system diseases and also diabetes. All these are related with specific medication and its influence on oral cavity. There has been collected biochemistry data with relevance in chronic renal failure related to the oral status, oral symptomatology – the presence or absence of roots, toothless, the xerostomia. Also we obtain data about denture presence or absence, quality of life trough prosthetic efficiency – chewing efficiency – for hard and soft foods, esthetic satisfaction, sanitization effectiveness, necessity and effectiveness of dental treatment. The questionnaire is applied to a group of patients with renal impairment and, by comparison, to a group of patients without renal impairment. Results and conclusions. The final form of a pre-test questionnaire has been obtained. After applying the two groups of patients: were correct errors of form and were subsequently excluded sections with insufficient data, were optimize application time, readjusted methodology subjects inclusion/exclusion.
