Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) and BRAC Bank Limited (BBL) are the two prospective banks in Bangladesh. The paper attempts to measure trends of some influential variables. Through Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Bartlett’s test of Sphericity five influential variables are identified like net profit, investment/loans and advances, fixed assets, other assets and cash. All the variables show better position in IBBL than BBL.

The recognition of credit as a powerful instrument for the alleviation of poverty in the developing countries has led to a multitude of programmes on agricultural credit, co-operatives, and integrated rural development in the past few decades. Agricultural or land development banks, commercial banks and cooperatives have sought "small borrowers" in theory but have, on the whole, failed to reach the poor, particularly women. The loan repayment rates in these programmes often have been very low which, together with below-market interest rates imposed by governments, has resulted in the stagnatio

Abstract Since the KIAA1549::BRAF fusion was discovered as the most common driver of pediatric low-grade glioma (pLGG), it has been hypothesized that the fusion induces oncogenicity through BRAF activation as a result of KIAA1549 replacing the BRAF negative regulatory N-terminus. This led to the rapid translation of MAPK pathway inhibitors into the clinical setting. Despite most tumors exhibiting promising initial responses, some tumors are not sensitive and about half of responsive tumors grow back after treatment cessation. Therefore, strategies that result in sustained tumor responses are d

A sedentary lifestyle has caused adults to spend more than 6 h seated, which has led to inactivity and spinal issues. This context underscores the growing sedentary behavior, exemplified by extended sitting hours among adults and university students. Such inactivity triggers various health problems and spinal disorders, notably Upper Crossed Syndrome (UCS) and its association with thoracic kyphosis, which can cause severe spinal curvature and related complications. Traditional detection involves clinical assessments and corrective exercises; however, this work proposes a multi-layered system f

Throughout the First World War, a set of complex geographical networks were developed across the British Empire, which led the wounded soldier from the Front back through a series of therapeutic nodal points, to rehabilitation and treatment in a range of established and auxiliary hospitals. This chapter outlines two aspects of these relational geographies. Firstly, it maps the physical networks to show the ways in which a nodal structure of relational spaces of treatment, often ephemeral and temporary, was developed and constructed from the Front to across the British Isles. This chapter looks at the spread of jazz—both geographically and institutionally. Almost from the start, jazz seemed destined to travel beyond its birthplace in New Orleans, but the pace of that expansion has accelerated in recent decades. Europe, which once looked to the United States for jazz role models, is increasingly self-sufficient, and other regions are also developing strong, homegrown jazz scenes. At the same time, jazz has broken down other barriers, entering schools and universities, and enjoying the support of influential nonprofit organizations such as Jazz at Lincoln Center. Thi
