Abstract:
RNA is essential for the transfer of genetic information, as the central dogma of biology dictates. The role of RNA, however, is not limited to serving as an information shuttle between DNA and fully functional protein. Indeed, RNA has experienced a surge of interest in the field of chemical biology for its other critical roles in biology including those in control of transcription, translation, splicing, genetic replication, and catalysis. RNA has proven to be a difficult and complex target for the design of small molecular ligands because of its structural heterogeneity and conformational fl

Highly branched isoprenoid (HBI) alkenes are ubiquitous lipids which have been identified in numerous geochemical samples, ranging from recent sediments to ancient oils. However, there remained a poor correlation between isomers found in diatoms and those commonly reported in sediments and water column particles. Abstract:
This study focuses on the spatial distribution of the M31 satellite system. A new Bayesian technique for determining object distances from the Tip of their Red Giant Branch is developed and used to obtain distance probability distributions for M31and 27 of its satellite galaxies. These distances are then used to calculate the satellite positions in three dimensions. Subsequent analysis of the resulting spatial distribution reveals striking inhomogeneity, with roughly half of the satellites confined to a curiously oriented thin disk. The distribution is also markedly asymmetric, with the majori

Abstract:
Communication network reliability analysis is of great significance in the practice of network construction management and operation of telecom operators. It can provide an important scientific basis for the formulation of network construction strategy and the optimization and adjustment of network performance. Combining the theoretical results of reliability analysis with engineering application practice effectively in communication network operation has always been a research difficulty in communication network operation, which has high theoretical research value and market application prosp
