The Gowganda Formation in the eastern part of the Cobalt Basin comprises the Coleman Member and the conformably overlying Firstbrook Member. The Firstbrook Member differs from the Coleman Member in that its lithofacies display (i) marked lateral continuity, (ii) abundant diagenetic red colouration, (iii) evidence of tidal deposition, and (iv) a lack of glaciogenic features. The Firstbrook Member is here divided into a mud-dominated lower facies, a silt-dominated middle facies, and sand-dominated upper facies. AbstractU–Pb age spectra of detrital zircons related to the East European Platform could be traced in paragneiss through the whole Mid-German-Crystalline Zone (Variscides, Central Europe) from the Odenwald via the Spessart to the Ruhla crystalline forming an exotic unit between Armorica and Laurussia. The depositional ages of the paragneiss are defined by the youngest age of the detrital zircons and the oldest intrusion ages as Ordovician to Silurian. The Ediacaran dominated age spectrum of detrital zircons from the paragneiss of the East Odenwald suggests the latter to be derived from the she

There are many ways to construct, shape and frame a history of popular music. One arc of analysis in popular music studies focuses on the record label. Much has been written about Sun, Motown, Factory and Apple, but there are many labels that have not reached this level of notoriety and fame but offer much to our contemporary understanding of music, identity and capitalism. The aim of this article is to capture an underwritten

Introduction The genealogy of Feminist Standpoint Theory in the 1970s prioritised “locationality”, particularly the recognition of social and historical locations as valuable contribution to knowledge production. Pioneering figures such as Sandra Harding, Dorothy Smith, Patricia Hill Collins, Alison Jaggar, and Donna Haraway have argued that the oppressed must have some means (such as language, cultural practices) to enter the world of the oppressor in order to access some understanding of how the world works from the privileged perspective. India has one of the world’s highest proportions of plant-based consumers relative to its total population (Sawe). Other studies similarly estimate the prevalence of vegetarianism to range from about 25% (Mintel Global) to about 40% (Euromonitor International; Statista, “Share”), and many Indians are shifting from strict plant-based diets to more flexible versions of plant-ba
