Abstract:
Fulminant myocarditis (FM) is a rare disease characterized by acute hemodynamic impairment and ventricular arrhythmias due to severe myocardial inflammation. It is typically preceded by a viral infection but any of multiple other toxic and infective agents may also be the inciting agent. Abstract:
During gestation period the oxygenated maternal blood is transferred to the embryo via the placenta and umbilical cord into the right atrium. It is further transferred through an interatrial shunt to the left atrium, the Foramen Ovale, and distributed to the embryonic body. The foramen is closed after the birth, but remains occasionally patent, permitting embolization through a right to left shunt. This is transferring thrombi, fat, cement and bony spikes, air, and occasionally malignant tissue. This brief review is on the malignant embolization.

Staphylococcus aureus, also known as “golden staph”, is a gram-positive coccus belonging to the class Bacilli, order Bacillales, family Staphylococcaceae and genus Staphylococcus [1]. It is a facultative anaerobe often positive for catalase and nitrate reduction and is coagulase variable i.e. maybe cogulase positive or negative [2]. The bacterium is non-motile, non-spore forming and appearing as bunch of grapes, microscopically. On blood agar it shows large, round, golden-yellow colonies often with hemolysis.
