Abstract:
Broken home can also be interpreted as a family condition that is not harmonious and does not work like a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous family because of frequent riots and disputes that lead to disputes and end in divorce. Actually children who are broken home are not only children who come from divorced parents, but also children who come from families that are not intact or not harmonious. There are many factors behind the broken home, including fights or parental fights, divorce, parent's busy life. The impact of broken home on the child's psychological, among others: Children begin to suffer from high anxiety and fear. Children feel clamped in the middle, because they have to choose between mother or father, Children often have a sense of guilt and If both parents are fighting, it allows children can hate one of their parents. Some psychologists state that the most important help a divorced parent can give is to try to reassure and convince children that they are innocent. Ensure that they do not need to feel responsible for the divorce of their parents. Another thing that needs to be done by parents who are going to divorce is to help children adjust to keep running routine activities at home. Do not force children to side with one of the parties who are bickering, and do not occasionally involve them in the divorce process. Another thing that can help children is to find other adults such as aunts or uncles, who can temporarily fill their emptiness after being left by their father or mother. That is to say, so that children feel they are getting a support that strengthens them in finding a substitute figure for a mother father who is no longer present as when there is no divorce.

Abstract:
This study reports the results of a comparative survey with representative samples of 3,386 school attending youths, most of whom were 15 years of age and residing in five European cities. We found significant but low correlations between the type of family structure (intact family, model family, dual career houshold, single mother) and five forms of deviant behavior (tobacco smoking, cannabis use, delinquency, general drug use and a composite risk behavior scale). These correlations will be displaced by very high correlations with the level of drug using friends/peers. A number of differences were found between the youth from different cities in relation to these concerns. Results indicate differences among the cities in terms of the youths' relationships with drug use/deviance/risky behavior and family structure, gender role, and peer group behavior. This suggests that the cultural meanings associated with family, gender role, peer group, and risk behavior influence deviant outcomes.

Abstract:
Deposits are not always recovered whole; many are found broken and damaged. The obvious explanation is that such objects were accidentally broken; however, some have been interpreted as having been deliberately damaged by their depositors, a practice termed ‘fragmentation’. Objects are broken into parts and deposited incomplete, often in ways that make their missing parts starkly evident. Thus many fragmented deposits denote synecdoche. It is the position of this paper that the absent (part) is just as integral to an understanding of the whole as the present (part) is, and this notion is explored by focusing on the post-medieval concealed shoe: an item of footwear that was fragmented by being deposited within the fabric of a building without its counterpart, for reasons unbeknownst to us. Drawing on a sample of 100 examples, this paper questions why such shoes were deposited as singles (the present parts), what became of the ‘other shoe’ (the absent part), and how such consideration aids our understanding of this enigmatic custom.

Needs fulfilled by parents are educational needs, health needs and needs of achievement. The way fathers and mothers fulfill their children's needs is somewhat different. Mothers in meeting their children's needs are more responsive, organized and resilient starting from simple things to serious problems. While the father in fulfilling his children's needs is less sensitive to the needs of his child. It means that the father in meeting the needs of his children seems serious when the problem is considered very important, for example a child who is seriously ill must be taken to the hospital and others.

Although research suggests that patrons give the Down Home Cafhigh marks on food quality and value, growth may have been hurt by the lack of ambiance and brand image. Research indicates they are in target consumers consideration sets, although perhaps not a first choice. In order to generate growth, the executive team is focusing on ideas to generate repeat business and increase the underperforming dinner and weekend meal occasions. Down Homes advertising agency has encouraged management to step back from a short-term strategy and consider developing a more comprehensive approach.
Normatively, children's education is the responsibility of the family. But when families experience disharmony, even broken home, children's education prone to be abandoned. When a modern school has not been able to maximally accommodate broken home children, Early Childhood Pondok Pesantren/pontren becomes the best alternative choice. The purpose of this research is to find the best alternative education for broken home children in the modern era. This research was conducted throughout 2017 at Early Childhood Pesantren Baiquniyah Yogyakarta. This research was using the qualitative approach, while data collection techniques were observations, interviews, and documentation; data analysis was done in descriptive, interpretative, and comparative. The results show that Baiquniyah Early Childhood Pontren Yogyakarta can be the best alternative choice. This is because the Baiquniyah Early Childhood Pontren Yogyakarta is able to bring the children closer to their parents psychologically, even when they are biologically separated. This condition has implications for the increase of pedagogical immunity, in which children are not easy to stress and depression, thus comfortable in studying at pesantren.

Abstract:
Spina bifida (SB) is the second most common birth defect worldwide. Mothers of children with SB face extraordinary challenges due to the complicated conditions and disability of their children. Little is known about the impact of these challenges on the mothers’ well-being, particularly in Middle Eastern culture, where chronic illness and disability are perceived as a stigma, and care of disabled children has traditionally been the responsibility of the mother. The aim of this study was to illuminate mothers’ lived experience of having a child with SB in Palestine. Twenty Arab-Muslim mothers living in Palestine were purposefully recruited from several rehabilitation centers in Palestine and were interviewed in 2014. The transcribed interviews were analyzed according to phenomenological hermeneutics. The mothers’ experiences were described in the main theme: From feeling broken to looking beyond broken. Four themes were interwoven: living with constant anxiety, living with uncertainty, living with a burden, and living with a difficult life situation. These findings highlight the burden and resilience of the Arab-Muslim Palestinian mothers while striving to maintain the well-being of the whole family as well as facilitating the child’s welfare.

Abstract:
Starting from the writer's anxiety with the spread of violence and social deviation as well as the social behavior of the future young generation today. Several factors that really stand out are the result of internal influences, namely family. Most children in their teens show signs of deviance and rebellion, whether overt or secretly. The author is well aware that many other factors influence these things. However, juvenile delinquency treatment is often found due to the broken home factor. In this case, the family has an important role in creating children who have good morals in the future. One of them is by instilling good values in children, namely with Islamic religious education from an early age and ever since childhood. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with the interview method. Informants are the parents or guardians of the student. The purpose of this paper is to find out how parents teach religious education, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education and the best solutions in Islamic religious education in broken home families

Abstract:
This paper explores the importance of the home and school environments in explaining the gender gap in disruptive behavior. We document large differences in the gender gap across key features of the home environment—boys do especially poorly in broken families. In contrast, we find little impact of the early school environment on noncognitive gaps. Differences in endowments explain a small part of boys' noncognitive deficit in single-mother families. More importantly, noncognitive returns to parental inputs differ markedly by gender. Broken families are associated with worse parental inputs, and boys' noncognitive development, unlike that of girls', appears extremely responsive to such inputs. (JEL I21, J12, J13, J16, Z13)

Abstract:
Broken Hill is amongst a group of communities internationally that are at greater risk from lead due to active or historical lead industries. Current evidence suggests there is no safe level of lead for young children. This paper describes places outside the family home where young Broken Hill children spend time and considers the potential for this to contribute to lead risk. We interviewed 65 families of children 3 years old or younger and detailed the top five places children spent time at outside the family home. Exposure to private residences outside the family home was recorded for most (88%) young children. Nearly two thirds stayed there five or more hours per week. Most children went there on a weekly basis over many months (median, 12 months), increasing the likelihood of exposure to lead hazards. Further investigation of the lead hazard and risk behaviour of children at these residences would assist in developing guidelines for remediation of the lead hazard for all private residences in Broken Hill. This approach to elucidating the potential sources and pathways of lead and other heavy metal exposures for young children may have merit in other settings where comprehensive zonal remediation is not feasible or may not be warranted.
