Dans le parenchyme pulmonaire sain, les concentrations tissulaires d'Amikacine nébulisée sont 16 fois supérieures à celle obtenues après perfusion intraveineuse avec une distribution homogène. Elles sont 3 à 30 fois supérieures lorsque existe une pneumonie expérimentale à Escherichia coli et dépendent du degré d'aération du parenchyme pulmonaire. Post-obstructive pneumonia is described as a pulmonary infiltrate that occurs proximal to the site of an obstructed bronchus. Studies show that post-obstructive pneumonia most commonly secondary to obstruction caused by neoplasms. According to a study done on post obstructive pneumonia in lung cancer, most cases of post obstructive pneumonias are associated with advanced neoplasms with up to 50% of those with advanced cancer getting endobronchial compromise. Abstract:
According to examination and follow-up results of 5485 HIV-positive hospitalized patients (3333 of which were diagnosed with AIDS) we have identified the frequency of clinically evident CMV-infection as well as the frequency and character of CMV related lung disease. Statistically significant correlation between viral load, degree of immunosuppression, CMV replication rate and CMV pneumonia development risk has been determined. Qualitative PCR assay for CMV DNA in plasma and respiratory samples was found to have high sensitivity and low specificity for diagnosing CMV-pneumonia. We identified q
