The objective of the current network optimization system (NOS) model used by the Arizona Department of Transportation is to minimize the annual cost over the planning period. An NOS model with the objective of maximizing a network's pavement performance is presented. In this performance-oriented NOS, the annual budget is given as a constraint that is distributed evenly over the planning period. This NOS model aims to provide an approach simulating a possible scenario in a state department of transportation by effectively using a given budget in the planning period. Abstract:
The objective of this study is to design an intermodal transport network considering multiple planning periods and accounting for product volume, mode, budget, and inventory at intermodal terminals (IMTs). A mixed integer linear programming model is developed. An experimental study is conducted for the State of South Carolina using the Freight Analysis Framework Version 4.5 (FAF4) dataset. Sensitivity analyses are performed to study the impact of budget, the maximum number of IMTs allowed, and increasing demand on the intermodal network design. The experimental results indicate that Columbia a

E-business based e-lance networks can impact the coordination and completion of work within organizations and improve efficiencies in global supply chains. This may be particularly true for organizations mitigating sudden demand spikes, or lacking internal expertise and bandwidth. However, little is known about what governance and social control mechanisms impact network success. Utilizing data from 14,644 projects, this research tests a theory of network governance specific to this new emerging e-lance economy by integrating transaction cost economics with the concepts of social controls. In view of the poor performance of the original mathematical model of assembly construction project precost budget, a mathematical model of assembly construction project precost budget based on improved neural network algorithm is proposed. This paper investigates the cost content of assembly construction project and analyzes its early cost. It finds that the early cost of assembly construction project includes component production cost, transportation component cost, and installation component cost. Identifying key road segments and prioritizing their protection to enhance the resilience of road networks against crisis events remains a pressing issue. In this paper, complex network theory is adopted to determine the importance ranking of road segments and analyse how to select the road segments that need to be rehabilitated in the case of insufficient budget. This study will provide three different methods to assess the importance of road segments, and with the help of user equilibrium model for traffic demand allocation, calculate the system travel time after rehabilitation to evaluate,

The efficiency of budgetary funding for general secondary education is a quite relevant issue, as such funding requires a significant proportion of budget resources spent on education. International researchers have suggested different approaches to determining this efficiency. The article examines if it’s possible to use one of the modifications of the Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to assess the efficiency of budget financing of general secondary education. This method was tested on the data on the financing of schools in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine in 2020 using resources fro

The purpose of this research is to find out the best internet network quality in the one-stage and two-stage Fiber to The Home network by knowing the FTTH network parameters, the parameters used are Link Power Budget, Bit Error Rate (BER), Q-Factor, and Quality of Service (QoS). In analyzing an FTTH network, it uses a qualitative content analysis method. The results show that the single-stage network is better when viewed from the manual calculation of total attenuation, but the attenuation results can also be with those in the field. The article presents an analysis of the activities of regional airports in France in 2019. The growth of passenger traffic was observed in those airports that actively developed cooperation with budget airlines, increasing the number of destinations in the route network. Regional airports in France, whose route network structure did not expand in 2019, showed a slight decrease in passenger traffic (from –0.1% to –3%). The first and only experimental regional airport in France (city of Beziers), handling flights of only one budget airline, Ryanair, showed an increase in passenger traffic by 14.

This article presents a concept for decision-making on budgeting investment projects using public funds. The proposed approach is to embed data-driven budgeting into a system of anticipatory government management based on the results of fund managers. Through data and analytics, local authorities can better allocate resources and determine the priority of investments that improve community performance. Problem Statement. Data-driven budgeting of fund managers, in the network of which investment projects are carried out, is necessary to eliminate the systematic underperformance of capital expen
