The majority of these vessels were built in the 1942–1944 time frame and have undergone numerous modifications, overhauls, and renovations in their 50-year service lives. The Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay·, MD implemented a PC/AutoCAD based CAD/CAM system and used it to construct a series of 15 M (49 foot) buoy tenders. Implementing CAD/CAM is primarily a management, rather than technical, challenge. In this paper, we obtain the detailed and precise data of the resistance performance in shallow water for the twin-skeg buoy tender in the different shallow-water conditions by the numerical stimulation of the resistance characteristic with the assistance of the commercial software FLUENT. Otherwise, the above obtained data are used to compare with the experimental results of the corresponding model in the towing resistance experiment. &lt;p&gt;2019 saw the completion of a road upgrade project in the town of Mo i Rana in Nordland county in Norway. The project, owned by the Norwegian Public Road Administration, had the objective of a safer and more efficient daily commute for students at the Arctic Circle High School. This is achieved by providing improved links to bus routes along the busy Fv810 main road, not least by constructing a footbridge over the road. Abstract A stereo camera system was installed facing Southeast at the observational tower owned by the University of Tokyo in the Sagami Bay, Japan. The three-dimensional wave fields were reconstructed from the stereo images, which were successfully captured from April 2017 until now, by using an open source software WASS (Waves Acquisition Stereo System).
