Abstract:
Among the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake, there were a large number of new findings, including which preparations functioned as planned and which did not. Now that a year has elapsed since the earthquake disaster, the parties concerned need to reexamine those measures which are yet to be implemented since we should not see the same results after a large scale disaster in the future as those we saw in the past. In this JDR Special Issue on Business Continuity Plan (BCP), I tried to ask for papers not only from academia but also from business fields to make this issue practical and useful to be leveraged for our next steps in preparing for incoming disasters. As a result, this issue obtains papers from various fields from academia to financial businesses and also with several different approaches which includes actual real case studies. Many of papers in this issue focus on intangible part of business continuity activities that is different from the traditional disaster management approaches which have mainly focused on tangibles or hardware reinforcement against natural disasters. Recent wide-area disasters taught us the importance of intangibles and we should start discussions more in details with aspects such as corporate value, emergency transportation & logistics, training & exercises, funding arrangement, and management systems. I hope that discussions and insights in this issue will help our discussions and actions to move forward. Finally, I really thank the authors’ insightful contributions and the referees’ intensive professional advices to make this JDR Special Issue valuable to our society in preparing for incoming disasters.

Abstract:
Startups in Indonesia are currently experiencing rapid growth, along with an increase in the number of internet network service users and the purchasing power of their consumption. The popularity of online or internet services is able to make Indonesia's market share not only a target market for sales but also a place for startups. Startups are often starting or growing businesses that have recently been started and are synonymous with technology. However, the level of achievement of startups in Indonesia is still low. The failure of a startup is caused by a managerial factor such as lack of experience and a clear vision from the founders of the company, lack of company focus in running the business or running out of funds, and other factors like the absence of market needs (no market need). Based on the above background, further research was made on the development of application service startups that will be designed with a scope at UNIKA Soegijapranata, as UNIKA Soegijapranata has an entrepreneurial forum called the Center for Student Entrepreneurship (CSE). The application development method used is the Waterfall method which has 5 stages, namely defining and analyzing requirements, designing software and systems, implementing and unit testing. The impact of planning the MentorKu application shows that users plan will use the MentorKu application in order to increase productivity in developing startup businesses and plan to use the MentorKu application in the future. This is shown based on the results of statistical tests obtained after conducting a survey of 60 respondents with 5 variables, namely PE, EE, FC, HM where all of these variables were assessed for their correlation with the BI variable or Behavioral Intention.

Abstract:
Business plan is an important tool for managing and growing the planned business. A well-designed plan sets the vision for growth and the steps needed to get there. The plan is also a indispensable communication tool to attract finance to the planned business as well as managers and employees while business grows. The primary goal of a business plan is to define what a business is or what are the intentions to be achieved over time. Harmonizing the goal and direction of a business allows you to understand what needs to be done to move forward. The alignment can consist of a simple description of the business and its products or services. It can specify the exact product lines and services to be offered, as well as a detailed description of the ideal customer-client. Businesses are evolving and adapting over time, and process factors (primarily economically) for future growth and direction in the business plan can be an effective way to plan for market changes, growing or slowing trends, and new innovations or directions that should be taken while the company is growing. While clarifying the direction in the business plan allows you to know where you are starting, the future vision allows you to have goals that need to be achieved. The small business administration says: "The development of a comprehensive business plan shows whether a business has the potential to make a profit or not." By submitting statistics, facts, figures and detailed plans in writing, the new business is more likely to attract investors to secure the required capital for its launch. Business plans can be designed as a sales tool for attracting partners, securing suppliers, and attracting employees in the executive branch of the new venture. Business plans can be divided into executive candidates or desired partners to help them persuade themselves in the business potential and persuade them to join the team. The business plan conveys the organizational structure of the business, including the titles of directors or officers and their individual tasks. It also acts as a management tool that can be regularly referred to to ensure that the business is on track with targets for fulfillment, sales targets or operational milestones. Writing a business health plan involves the preparation of a document listing the services that are planned to be provided and how the company is planned to run. Healthcare businesses usually deal with fees, payment charts, payment systems, managed care contracts, and operational issues. By describing how the company would handle these challenges, it can show potential investors that the business strategy is healthy and worthy of their investment. Write a description of the healthcare business, for example, to list how and what services offer to the older people or disabled customers who do not have medical support at home. If you are planning to buy and work with a franchise, the parent company usually provides information and training that describes the business. Emergency centers usually provide care by an authorized practitioner, on-site laboratory services, recipe services and examinations outside of regular working hours. Describe the skills and experience of staff, such as doctors, laboratory technicians, technicians.
