Epoxybutene (EB) and diepoxybutane (DEB) are metabolites of 1,3-butadiene (BUT), a carcinogen. They both react with DNA to form monoadducts, while DEB can also form crosslinks. Here, studies on DNA adducts formed by EB and DEB are presented. The aims were to develop methods for monitoring human exposure to BUT and to assist mechanistic studies on BUT-induced carcinogenesis. Les reactions d'hydrogenation ont ete realisees sur polycristaux massifs de pd et de pd-ag. Plusieurs faits experimentaux ont ete clairement mis en evidence lors de cette etude. Tout d'abord le role important que joue dans l'hydrogenation de l'acetylene, la transformation du pd en hydrure. This research investigates the application of additive manufacturing techniques for fabricating hybrid rocket fuel grains composed of porous Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene impregnated with paraffin wax.
