Examensarbetet utgör en jämförelse mellan två byggmetoder: platsgjutna betongväggar och skalväggar. Studien har gjorts för SEFA Betongentreprenad AB med avsikt att redogöra den mest lönsamma byggmetoden.De centrala aspekter som belyses i detta examensarbete är kostnader, tider och arbetsmiljö.Resultatet visar att byggnation med skalväggar leder till ökade materialkostnader i projektet, vilket också leder till en högre självkostnad för betongentreprenören.
