Abstract:

Od přijetí Lisabonské smlouvy zkoumají odborníci, zda v sektoru energetické politiky dochází k bližší spolupráci mezi členskými státy a institucemi Evropské unie (EU). Překvapivě málo pozornosti bylo však v tomto kontextu doposud věnováno konceptu aktérství, konkrétně pak otázce, zda se EU daří rámovat energetický diskurz v členských státech. Tato stať si klade za cíl zjistit, zda lze EU vnímat jako rámujícího aktéra v českém energetickém diskurzu a zda se její rámující moc liší napříč tématy a žánry politického diskurzu. Metodologicky vychází studie z diskurzně-historického přístupu. Výsledky analýzy poukazují na fakt, že rámování se neliší napříč tématy, ale spíše v závislosti na typu žánru. Zároveň probíhá rámování jak explicitně, tak implicitně, a to při souhlasu i nesouhlasu ČR s politikami EU.

Abstract:

Boj proti terorismu je jednou z priorit bezpečnostní politiky České republiky i Evropské unie. ES/EU budovala svou protiteroristickou politiku od poloviny 70. let (TREVI). Maastrichtská smlouva a jiné důležité evropské smlouvy (Amsterdamská smlouva, Smlouva z Nice) zahrnovaly protiteroristické nástroje hlavně do třetího pilíře (vnitřní bezpečnost), ale také do druhého pilíře (zahraniční a bezpečnostní politika) a prvního pilíře (financování terorismu). Některé protiteroristické nástroje a dokumenty byly kritizovány ze strany různých subjektů (např. lidskoprávní nevládní organizace). Evropská bezpečnostní politika se v EU diskutuje často, protože některé členské státy ve "válce proti terorismu" upřednostňují úzkou spolupráci s USA, zatímco jiné státy podporují autonomní evropskou cestu.

Abstract:

Článek se zabývá otázkami procesu europeizace a jeho dopadu na vzdělávací politiku v ČR. Na počátku se čtenář seznámí s teoretickým kontextem procesu europeizace – zejména z hlediska jeho definice jako procesu vytváření institucí a interakcí mezi národní (případně regionální a lokální) a evropskou úrovní. Posléze je pozornost věnována hlavním aspektům vzdělávací politiky na národní úrovni a rozvoji této politiky v kontextu evropské spolupráce. Hlavní část studie je zaměřena na vývoj a dopad dvou procesů – Boloňského procesu a vlivu Evropské unie a jejích struktur na odpovědné instituce a vzdělávací politiku v ČR. Ačkoli je z hlediska Evropské unie vzdělávací politika plně v kompetenci národních států, dopad evropské integrace je zde významný.

Abstract:

Tato stať se na základě dat z European Values Study (výběrové reprezentativní soubory 1991, 1999 a 2008) zabývá hodnotou práce v české společnosti v současné době i posunem, kterým hodnota práce a jejich aspektů prošly od roku 1991, kdy se Česká republika poprvé ocitla mezi evropskými společnostmi zkoumanými v rámci tohoto longitudinálního výzkumu, až k datu poslední vlny v roce 2008. Ukazuje, jak je populace České republiky segmentována z hlediska hodnoty, kterou přisuzuje práci s ohledem na hodnotu dalších sfér života (volný čas, sociální sítě, náboženství či politika), a z hlediska důležitosti, jaká je přisuzována jednotlivým aspektům práce (a s ohledem na vybrané sociálně demografické charakteristiky jednotlivých segmentů).

Abstract:

The thesis deals with comparison of family policy systems in the Czech Republic and Sweden in order to assess the overall profamily environment in these countries. Thesis analyzes the specific tools to support families and evaluates their effectiveness in terms of whether they are able to secure the young generation with some financial resources and create conditions for reconciliation of family and work. Swedish family policy is in this regard considered successful, as evidenced here a relatively high birth rate due to adverse demographic trends in other countries, such as the Czech Republic. Work in fact seeks the causes of the family policy success in Sweden and its shortcomings in the Czech Republic, points out the differences in systems of family policies due to different historical development, which reflects the volume of financial funds for families with children, and indicates as a key variable in the success of family policy area of reconciling work and family lives, where the Czech Republic currently lags far behind.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on social housing - public policy, that is applied in many countries of the EU. Czech Republic is currently trying its implementation. Due to rising household's costs of housing, rising expenses on demand-oriented housing policy in form of housing benefits and difficult to solve social exclusion, social housing appears to be one of the more accessible ways of solution. The goal of the thesis is at first to analyze and evaluate known forms of social housing and its application from the economic perspective, then to form reccomendations for the Conception of Social Housing for the Czech Republic in the period 2015-2025 using comparison to already-existing Austrian model. This text answers the main research question how does functioning model of social housing look like and what are the economic impacts of it on households.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with housing policy and rent housing in Czech republic. First basic terms of housing and consequences of rent housing are described. The second chapter concentrates on the rent housing, in detail particular kinds of this sort of housing are described. The third chapter introduces historical development and reasons of rent restriction in Czech republic. The next part concentrates on the development of law and conception documents in the field of housing policy and current legal form of rent housing. The last part analyses financial availability of housing, it presents the development of restricted rent prices and introduces the prediction model of impacts of rent liberalization applied on the law of unilateral increase of rents. It suggests also possible compensations of these effects.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the problems in the sector of rental and co-operative housing since the nineties of the twentieth century in the Czech Republic. Firstly the thesis deals with the description of the basic concepts such as housing, supply and demand for housing, housing policy and instruments through which it achievs its goals. Further the thesis analyzes the current situation in the housing stock and its allocation to individual sectors. The third chapter concentrates on the issue of rental and co-operative housing. This chapter provides ample space for development of regulation as well as deregulation of rents. The end of the chapter foccuses the attention on the issue of social housing not only in the Czech Republic but also in selected countries of the European Union. The last two chapters deal with state housing support, where in addition to promoting the supply side mentioned is also housing benefit and satisfaction with living in the Czech Republic.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis focuses on the topic of social housing and its sustainability. It explores its general principles, but also reacts to this fields latest developments in order to find a suitable model to be applicable in the Czech Republic, especially in the city of Brno. The first part of the thesis provides an overview of the current state of the issues on both Czech and European level, followed by detailed exploration of these fields in the cities of Brno and Vienna. Analytical evaluation confirms the relevance and appropriateness of the Viennese case study. The presented research is focused particularly on the sector municipal or subsidized rental housing for both cities. It examines the possibilities of Viennese principles application in Brno so that at least a part of the city's housing fund could be used as social housing accordingly to currently prepared Czech legislation. At the conclusion of this work recommendations for the city of Brno are formulated, useful in the preparation of its new social housing policy. This research, touching currently quite fundamental social issues, can be also beneficial in other areas. In the academic environment of architecture, urban planning, economics or sociology studies, for these fields experts or for the general public to facilitate the orientation on the housing market.

Abstract:

This Master Thesis, "Pro-active immigration policy in the Czech Republic" discusses the principles of the current Czech immigration policy. The thesis analyzes the evolution of the pro-active immigration policy from 1990's to the present. The paper researches the reasons why people migrate and also summarizes the views on immigration policy from some of the most prestigious schools of economic thought. The main goal of this thesis was to analyze the four main programs of the Czech pro-active immigration policy -- the pilot project Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers, charity projects in Ukraine, the resettlement of refugees from Burma and the latest project, the Green Cards. The last chapter describes the basic pillars on which immigration policy should be standing. The chapter also addresses possible reform of the current immigration policy; the principle idea is to offer visas for purchase and thereby make the system more effective.

Abstract:

This thesis on historical development of the construction of residential buildings and its effect on market prices of dwellings currently in Liberec accompanies the issue of correlation between architectural styles and price currently. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts such as housing, housing stock, housing market and its failure, which follows the historical description of the construction of residential buildings. In other chapters of this part is talking about urban planning and housing policy. The practical part looks at this issue from the perspective of a particular town, which is Liberec. For him the basic information about the local conditions, history of architecture and subsequently through the commodities market tested real estate prices mentioned correlation and era of construction. The main source of research is in the thesis comparing average prices per m2 for each building type. During and at the end, the results are commented and compared.

Abstract:

The theses deals with the most current problem of refugees stemming from the Syrian crisis, and the consequences the migration crisis can have for stability and the overall political situation in the chosen region. Due to the fact that the Syrian crisis is felt not only in the region, the aim of this thesis is to look at the impact of subsequent migrant crisis on the EU with focus on the Czech Republic. Despite various attempts by the international community, including the EU and the Czech Republic itself, to stabilise the situation the migration crisis is not, within a short and midterm time frame, closing to an end, and it is necessary to focus on possible negative consequences it may bring. The aim of this thesis is to uncover possible political repercussions. Even though, the Czech Republic is in reality afflicted by the migration wave on a minimal scale, the main hypothesis of this thesis is that the current migration wave has an influence on its political scene. The thesis is focusing especially on extremism in the Czech public and consequently in the political scene.
