In this paper, we set forth a framework for solving a multiattribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem, namely, the selection of a firm for participation in a Saudi oil refinery project in Pakistan. This project will prove a key success factor for the economic growth of Pakistan due to its enormous economic impact on the energy sector, industrial development, commerce, transportation, and so on. This multiplicity justifies that several intricate components comprising both intrinsic and external attributes should be adequately evaluated for the selection of such a firm, that is, the formula

Abstract Fifteen patients with large pituitary tumors were studied with computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). CT was performed using General Electric 8800 and 9800 scanners (General Electric Co., Medical Systems Division, Milwaukee, Wisconsin). MRI was performed utilizing a Technicare superconducting scanner (Technicare, Cleveland, Ohio) at 0.5 tesla. Based on the operative findings, the tumors were divided into two groups. Tumors in Group 1 (n = 12) were described by the surgeon as soft or partially necrotic and easily removed by suction and curettage. Tumors in Group

Gallic acid (G) is a natural phenolic compound that has potent antioxidant and antityrosinase activities. The solubility of gallic acid in aqueous system is rather poor. The purpose of this research is to develop the thermosensitive gel containing G based on Lutrol® F127 (L) and the antioxidant of prepared gels was determined using modified ABTS.+ method expressed as Vitamin C Equivalent Antioxidant Capacity (VCEAC) method. N-methyl pyrrolidone (N) could be used to effectively solubilize G into L aqueous systems. This developed thermosensitive system could convert from solution in the cool pla

Firm attachments between kinetochores and dynamic spindle microtubules (MTs) are important for accurate chromosome segregation. Centromere protein F (CENP-F) has been shown to include two MT-binding domains, so it may participate in this key mitotic process. Here, we show that the N-terminal MT-binding domain of CENP-F prefers curled oligomers of tubulin relative to MT walls by approximately fivefold, suggesting that it may contribute to the firm bonds between kinetochores and the flared plus ends of dynamic MTs. A polypeptide from CENP-F’s C terminus also bound MTs, and either protein fragmen

Firm diversification is the level of development a firm undertakes both through the number of firms it manages and the level of its business segments (at least two business segments). Based on agency theory, companies with multi-segments are suspected of placing too large investment in their line of business with low investment opportunities. Meanwhile, according to market power theory, only conglomerate companies are able to diversify well. Previous research stated that even if conglomerate companies diversify, it may lead to firm performance’s loss. This study aims to determine the influen
