We propose a concurrent process calculus, called Calcul Parallèle Logique (CPL), based on the paradigm of computation as proof net construction in linear logic. CPL uses a fragment of first-order intuitionistic linear logic where formulas represent processes and proof nets represent successful computations. In these computations, communication is expressed in an asynchronous way by means of axiom links. We define testing equivalences for processes, which are based on a concept of interface, and use the power of proof theory in linear logic.

L’hexapode est un robot parallèle permettant la mise en position d’objets suivant les six degrés de liberté (trois translations Tx, Ty, Tz et trois rotations Rx, Ry, Rz). Au milieu du xxe siècle, les premiers hexapodes ont servi à tester des pneus ou comme simulateurs de vol. Dans les années 1990, grâce à l’évolution des composants électroniques et à l’augmentation des capacités de calcul, l’arrivée de contrôleurs abordables et performants a permis leur essor. Nous verrons dans cet article comment un hexapode est constitué et étudierons les critères de sélection les plus pertinents avant de décrire quelques exemples d’applications.

Présentée dans le passé comme une approche visant à imiter l’intelligence biologique, l’adaptation et l’évolution dans la résolution de problèmes, l’intelligence artificielle (IA) mobilise massivement la communauté scientifique, et se redéfinit constamment dans ses ambitions, voire son essence même, surpassant les précédents modèles analytiques, prédictifs et génératifs en parallèle avec une constante et rapide évolution des équipements de calcul dédiés. Si l’IA excelle depuis quelques années dans la résolution de problèmes touchant de nombreux champs de l’activité humaine, ses applications aux domaines architectural et urbain n’en sont qu’aux balbutiements. Mais depuis 2017, l’IA générative est convoquée pour répondre à des objectifs non quantifiables ou difficilement mesurables (comme l’esthétique) et stimuler la créativité des concepteurs, et ses algorithmes, en particulier les GANs, commencent à être mis à profit pour l’aide à la conception en phase d’idéation architecturale.

Dans sa Mécanique analytique, Lagrange consacre la première partie de son ouvrage à résoudre de manière générale l’ensemble des problèmes de statique. Dans la seconde partie, il va, grâce au Principe de d’Alembert, ramener la dynamique à la statique et résoudre ainsi l’ensemble des problèmes de dynamique. Dans la longue introduction qu’il donne à cette seconde partie, Lagrange raconte l’évolution des idées qui ont menées d’Alembert à son principe. L’article qui suit met en parallèle les textes originaux qui composent cette histoire et les éléments du récit de Lagrange. Cette juxtaposition permet de montrer les écueils rencontrés par les différents participants à cette histoire, écueils qui disparaissent du récit de Lagrange. Il s’agit principalement de l’initiation au calcul différentiel et intégral, de la compréhension de la puissance du calcul vectoriel, et bien évidemment de la découverte des forces de liaison ou des contraintes.

In his Analytical Mechanics, Lagrange devotes the first part of his work to resolving the various issues of statics in general. In the second part, by virtue of the principle of d’Alembert, he reduces dynamics issues to statics ones, thus solving all dynamics problems. In the lengthy introduction to this second part, Lagrange recounts the progression of ideas that led d’Alembert to his principle. The following article compares the original texts that make up this story to the elements of Lagrange’s narrative. This juxtaposition allows us to demonstrate the pitfalls encountered by the various participants in this story, and reveals the absence of these in Lagrange’s account. The main points addressed being: an introduction to differential and integral calculus, the understanding of the power of vector calculus, and, naturally, the discovery of binding forces or constraints.

Les travaux de Turing ont montré les liens étroits qu’entretiendront cryptologie et mécanisation du calcul. Leur évolution parallèle va déplacer de nombreuses frontières : entre secret et transparence, entre sphère publique et sphère privée, entre contrôle social et liberté individuelle, entre art et science. Cet article explore ce mouvement à la lumière des domaines où il s’est manifesté. Depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la cryptologie a évolué d’un usage presque exclusivement militaire à son ubiquité actuelle. Cette mutation d’usage s’est doublée d’une transformation de nature, en particulier sous l’angle du rapport à la science. Les techniques artisanales ont cédé la place à une nouvelle branche des mathématiques dont le caractère scientifique est autant revendiqué que controversé, tant la sécurité est matière à spéculation. Les questions ouvertes par la théorie de la complexité trouvent une illustration imagée avec les mondes virtuels de Russel Implagliazzo. L’impact sociétal de la cryptologie est aussi abordé du point de vue de la nature des échanges : contrôle institutionnel ou maintien au sein de cercles privés. L’histoire de l’opposition entre contrôle étatique et liberté d’usage sera exposé au regard du droit. Sont enfin abordées les nouvelles applications et menaces de la cryptologie, reculant les frontières du possible, de l’informatique en nuage aux monnaies virtuelles.

L’évaluation de l’état écologique des cours d’eau repose sur le calcul d’indices de qualité basés sur la sensibilité de certains groupes biologiques, dont les diatomées, à la pollution. La détermination et la quantification des espèces de diatomées reposent généralement sur des méthodes d’identification morphologique en microscopie qui peuvent paraître complexes, chronophages et relativement onéreuses. Au cours de la dernière décennie, une nouvelle méthode de biologie moléculaire basée sur l’ADN a été développée, permettant d’identifier les espèces sur la base de critères génétiques plutôt que sur des critères morphologiques : le métabarcoding. En combinaison avec les technologies de séquençage à haut débit, le métabarcoding permet d’identifier l’ensemble des espèces présentes au sein d’un échantillon environnemental et de traiter plusieurs centaines d’échantillons en parallèle. Cet article présente les résultats de deux études récentes menées sur les cours d’eau de Mayotte (2013-2018) et de France métropolitaine (2016-2018), visant à tester le potentiel d’application du métabarcoding pour la bio-indication au sens de la directive cadre sur l’eau (DCE). Nous abordons les différents développements méthodologiques et optimisations qui ont été réalisés pour fiabiliser les inventaires taxonomiques de diatomées produits en métabarcoding, notamment en matière de quantification des espèces basée sur l’abondance relative des séquences ADN. Nous présentons ensuite les résultats d’application de l’approche moléculaire pour l’évaluation de l’état écologique de plus de 500 sites de cours d’eau nationaux, en les confrontant avec les résultats obtenus via l’approche classique en morphologie. Finalement, nous discutons du potentiel d’application en routine du métabarcoding à l’échelle des réseaux de surveillance des cours d’eau, de ses limites d’application et proposons certaines recommandations pour une future implémentation complémentaire à l’approche morphologique actuellement prescrite dans les arrêtés réglementaires.

La chromodynamique quantique (QCD) est la théorie qui décrit l’interaction forte, responsable entre autres de la cohésion des noyaux atomiques. Cette interaction devient hautement non linéaire lorsque les particules qui interagissent ont des impulsions relatives inférieures à environ 1 GeV/c. Dans ce régime, ses effets peuvent être calculés dans le formalisme de la QCD sur réseau, à l’aide de simulations massivement parallèles sur des super-ordinateurs. Après une introduction historique à l’interaction forte, cet article explique ce qu’est la QCD et comment sont faits les calculs sur réseau. Il décrit ensuite le calcul d’une contribution QCD au moment magnétique du muon et comment les résultats qui en découlent participent à la recherche actuelle de nouvelles particules et interactions fondamentales.

La culture du bananier génère des emplois au profit des acteurs du monde rural, procure des revenus substantiels pour les acteurs de cette filière et contribue à l’amélioration de la sécurité alimentaire. Globalement, cette étude a analysé la performance de la culture du bananier (d’un hectare) et son impact socio-économique chez les ménages producteurs. Spécifiquement, il est question de déterminer les différents paramètres de la performance et le ratio de profitabilité, pour ainsi ressortir l’impact socio-économique induit par cette culture. Choisis de façon aléatoire, 30 ménages ont été enquêtés. Les statistiques descriptives ont permis de dégager les tendances centrales et de dispersion, la comptabilité analytique a permis de déterminer la performance économique et les effets induits sur le plan socio-économique des ménages au moyen de calcul du ratio de satisfaction financière. Il ressort des résultats que, l’exploitant dépense 1742,15$ comme coût total pour produire et mettre sur le marché local 705 régimes de plantain de ±10 Kg pour une recette après-vente correspondante de 2226,92$ dégageant ainsi une marge bénéficiaire de 484,77$, d’où résulte un ratio de profitabilité de 21,77%. Ce résultat prouve que la production et la vente des bananes plantains dans le village Mbubu sont des activités moyennement rentables et génératrices de revenus. Le ratio de satisfaction financière étant de 346,08%, ce signifie que la production d’un hectare de banane ne contribue qu’à peu près à 30% aux besoins fondamentaux de l’exploitant. D’où la satisfaction financière des ménages, doit passer soit par l’intensification de la culture, soit par l’exploitation d’autres cultures en parallèle. Banana cultivation generates jobs for stakeholders in the rural world, provides substantial income for stakeholders in this sector, and contributes to improving food security. Overall, this study analyzed the performance of banana cultivation (a one-hectare) and its socio-economic impact among producing households. Specifically, it is a question of determining the different performance parameters and the profitability ratio, highlighting the socio-economic impact induced by this plant. Selected randomly, 30 households were surveyed. Descriptive statistics allowed identifying central and dispersion tendencies, and analytical accounting allowed to determine the economic performance and the induced effects on the socio-economic level of households by means of calculating the financial satisfaction ratio. The results show that the farmer spends $1,742.15 as a total cost to produce and place on the local market 705 bunches of plantain of ±10 kg for $2,226.92 corresponding after-sale revenue, thus generating a profit margin of $484.77, resulting in a profitability ratio of 21.77%. This result proves that the production and sale of plantains in Mbubu village are moderately profitable and income-generating activities. The financial satisfaction ratio being 346.08%, means that the production of one hectare of banana only contributes approximately 30% to the basic needs of the farmer. Hence the financial satisfaction of households must come either through the intensification of cultivation or through the exploitation of other crops in parallel.

Dans cette optique, on a développé un nouvel abaque original en choisissant comme coordonnées pH et [CO3 total]. La construction d'un tel abaque ne fait appel qu'à 2 lois fondamentales, à savoir : a) la relation du produit de solubilité du carbonate calcique : Ks=Y22[Ca2+[CO2-3] Cette dernière peut, moyenant l'introduction d'une variable auxiliaire : ∆=[Ca2+]-[CO3 total] se transformer en une relation équivalente plus commode pour le calcul des courbes constitutives de l'abaque. b) une deuxième relation, prenant en compte les ions H+ soit libres, soit engagés dans des combinaisons avec le groupe carbonate ou avec le solvant H2 O. Dans ce but, on introduit une concentration totale appelée acidité potentielle totale (en abrégé APT) définie de la sorte : APT=2[H2CO3]+[HCO-3]+[H2O]+[H+] En outre, on utilise une variable dérivée de APT à laquelle on a donné le nom d'acidité potentielle carbonatée et le symbole. Sa définition est la suivante : δ=2[H2CO3]+[HCO-3] Les 2 variables et APT jouissent en commun de la propriété intéressante de rester invariantes lors de la mise en équilibre de l'eau selon l'équation : CaCO3+H+⇌Ca2++HCO-3 La variable peut également être considérée comme pratiquement invariante dans le domaine des eaux naturelles. Cette propriété est mise à profit pour construire 2 réseaux de courbes constitutives de l'abaque, à savoir : a) celles satisfaisant à la condition : APT=constante. Ces dernières seront appelées "courbes d'iso-acidité b) celles répondant à la condition : ∆=constante. On les désignera sous le nom de "courbes d'iso-équilibre" L'article s'attache à décrire le mode d'utilisation de cet abaque tout en mettant en valeur sa facilité d'emploi pour l'évaluation, tant qualitative que quantitative du comportement d'une eau à l'égard du carbonate calcique. En particulier, la technique permet de visualiser les caractéristiques essentielles de l'eau telles que pH équilibrant, pH stabilisant et indice de stabilisation, caractéristiques dont la signification est précisée dans l'article. L'abaque en question, en parallèle avec un logiciel qui peut lui être associé, constitue ainsi un outil précieux tant pour caractériser une eau que pour procéder ensuite aux traitements chimiques les plus connus. Le cas du mélange d'eaux peut également être avantageusement traité par le biais de cet abaque. De nombreux exemples d'application aux traitements de l'eau sont également largement développés dans la publication. Ceux-ci devraient aider grandement ceux qui sont confrontés aux divers problèmes de l'industrie de l'eau. L'analyse graphique constitue par ailleurs une excellente introduction à la gestion informatisée plus complète de ces problèmes et dont le traitement ne pouvait trouver place dans le cadre limité de cette publication. Le lecteur désireux de poursuivre ces développements ou d'avoir accès au programme informatique complémentaire à cette étude, trouvera les indications nécessaires dans les références bibliographiques figurant en fin de l'article.

Priority is a frequently used feature of many computational systems. In this paper we study the expressiveness of two process algebras enriched with different priority mechanisms. In particular, we consider a finite (that is, recursion-free) fragment of asynchronous CCS with global priority (FAP, for short) and Phillips' CPG (CCS with local priority), and contrast their expressive power with that of two non-prioritised calculi, namely the π-calculus and its broadcast-based version, called bπ. We prove, by means of leader-election-based separation results, that, under certain conditions, there exists no encoding of FAP in π-Calculus or CPG. Moreover, we single out another problem in distributed computing, which we call the last man standing problem (LMS for short), that better reveals the gap between the two prioritised calculi above and the two non-prioritised ones, by proving that there exists no parallel-preserving encoding of the prioritised calculi in the non-prioritised calculi retaining any sincere (complete but partially correct, that is, admitting divergence or premature termination) semantics.

The synthesis of p-toluidinium perchlorate (systematic name: 4-methylanilinium perchlorate), C7H10N+·ClO4 −, was carried out from an aqueous reaction of perchloric acid with p-toluidine. This compound was characterized by powder XRD, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The structure was further confirmed by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The crystal structure is formed by a succession of two-dimensional molecular layers consisting of perchlorate anions and organic cations parallel to the (100) plane and located at x = 2n + ½ (n ∈ Z). Each mixed layer is formed by infinite chains {C7H10N+·ClO4 −} n parallel to the [010] direction and developing along the c axis, generating R 2 4(8), R 2 2(4) and R 4 4(12) graph-set motifs. The results of a theoretical study using the DFT method at the B3LYP/6–311++G(d,p) level are in good agreement with the experimental data. Hirshfeld surface and fingerprint plots reveal that the structure is dominated by O...H/H...O (54.2%), H...H (26.9%) and C—H ...π (14.3%) contacts. The environmental impact on human health is of increasing concern mainly due to the complex interaction between various hazardous factors both on environment and within human organism. The aim of this paper is to investigate possible correlations between the quality parameters of drinking water and the formation of uroliths. The constituents of some kidney calculi sampled after surgery from 90 patients coming from the Horezu – Valcea area have been analysed, this region being identified as having the most cases of kidney lithiasis and that might be related with hard drinking waters. The study has been made during the period of 2004 – 2008. Physical – chemical methods specific for characterization of the quality of drinking waters have been used in parallel with determination of composition and structural characterization by X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis TG, ATD, FT-IR spectroscopy, optical microscopy. Four groups of uroliths have been identified: multiphase oxalate and urate, phosphate (hydroxiapatite) and carbonate, monohydrated oxalate (whewellite), and urate stones. Such research might be useful, from both chemical and biochemical point of view, for identifying the conditions that cause the inhibition of the processes related to kidney calculi formation.

This paper introduces a calculus of weakest specification for supporting reuse of established components in deriving a design (in the sense of formal methods). The weakest specifunction generalizes the notions of weakest pre-specification and weakest parallel environment; but instead of calculating the weakest required component of a target specification, it calculates the weakest specification function whose value refines the target when applied to an established component. In particular it overcomes the restriction of those other calculi to taking merely one required component at a time. The theory of specifunctions is applied to a new weakest-design calculus in the context of BSP. The calculus is based on the par-seq specifunction which involves two required components: it places one established component in parallel with one required component and the result in sequence with another required component to meet a given specification. A calculus is provided for the par-seq specifunction and it is applied to the derivation of a distributed BSP algorithm for greatest common divisor.

Introduction. Frequent complications of kidney stone disease (KSD) are infectious and inflammatory processes in the organs of the genitourinary system, the most important of which is pyelonephritis. Adhering to a restrained tactic with small caliceal calculi, we observe a significant number of patients with chronic calculous non-obstructive pyelonephritis. Conservative treatment of these patients presents great practical difficulties, as it involves the mandatory parallel treatment of two diseases – pyelonephritis and KSD. The aim of this prospective study was to investigate the effectiveness of conservative therapy in patients with chronic calculous pyelonephritis. Materials and methods. The study included 100 patients with a verified diagnosis of chronic calculous pyelonephritis against the background of existing small caliceal calculi (up to 10 mm). Patients were divided into 2 groups, comparable in terms of the main evaluated criteria. Patients of the first (control) group (40 people) received etiotropic antibiotic course therapy in combination with antispasmodics and immunomodulators. Patients of the second (main) group (60 people) additionally for 3 months took the phytocomplex Onpelvicit 1 capsule 3 times a day under the control of urine pH. Results. At the control examination after 3 months in the group of patients treated with Onpelvicit the frequency of exacerbations of chronic pyelonephritis was significantly lower than in the control group of patients. In the main group, 50% of patients showed a decrease in the size of the calculus, in 15% of cases – complete litholysis. The noted positive effect in relation to chronic pyelonephritis is obviously associated with the phytocomponents of the drug. The effect on the size of the stones is largely due to the presence of sodium and potassium citrates in the complex. Citrate is one of the main inhibitors of crystallization. This effect is realized in both calcium oxalate and urate nephrolithiasis, although the mechanisms differ. Stabilization of the colloidal state of urine, normalization of the acidity index prevents the crystallization of salts and the growth of calculi. Conclusion. Chronic calculous pyelonephritis, which occurs against the background of small calyx calculi of the kidney, is a variant of a combined pathology that is widely encountered in urological practice. The dominant concept of management of this group of patients is to conduct conservative treatment. A pronounced acid reaction of urine in combination with crystalluria of one kind or another is a significant factor in the progression or recurrence of stone formation and the severe course of the inflammatory process. The present study shows that the correction of these disorders has a positive effect on the course of both diseases.

Background Types of renal stones have profoundly changed in the last half-century, parallel to the change in lifestyle and dietary habit, with an increase of calcium stones. Among many lithogenic factors age and gender are considered to be associated with the types of renal stones. Studies evaluating the influence of age and gender on the distribution of the types of urinary calculi are scarce in Nepal.
Objective To explore the influence of age and gender on different types of urolithiasis.
Method This is a single center prospective study encompassing urolithiasis during a study period of 18 months. All the stone retrieved from the patients after surgery were sent for biochemical analysis of the stone. The result was then compared with the age and gender of the study population.
Result Calculi from a total of 107 patients were analyzed (62 from males and 45 from females). Mixed stones consisting of calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate were the predominant constituent in 74.16% of stones, followed by uric acid, struvite and cystine stones. We found predominance of Calcium stones in males (47.66%) vs 36.44% in females and predominance of struvite stones in females (7.47%) vs 3.73% in males. Age group of 21-40 years has the main burden of stone.
Conclusion Being aware and having better knowledge of risk factors, composition and correlation with age and gender can provide personalized guidance to prevention and avoid recurrence of urolithiasis.

Le service de Restauration des Terrains en Montagne de l’Office National des Forêts est un acteur historique de la prévention contre les chutes de blocs en montagne. Pour les besoins de la cartographie des aléas et du dimensionnement d’ouvrages de protection, il a suivi l’évolution des moyens techniques depuis les années 1980 jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Ces dernières années, des réflexions se poursuivent sur l’aléa rocheux dans différents groupes de travail mandatés par l’État ou fédérant les experts privés et publics du domaine. Le développement des moyens informatiques et l’augmentation de la précision des données topographiques ont rendu la réalisation de calculs trajectographiques de plus en plus accessible et ont permis de mener des campagnes de simulations de grande envergure. Cet article présente l’histoire de l’utilisation des outils trajectographiques par le service de Restauration des Terrains en Montagne. L’objectif est d’aider à la compréhension de certains choix méthodologiques qui perdurent encore aujourd’hui pour éclairer les réflexions en cours. Il s’inscrit en parallèle des rapports publics établis pour le compte du Ministère de la Transition Écologique avec d’autres organismes d’État.

Le miel est traditionnellement consommé dans les îles de l’océan Indien et utilisé également pour ses propriétés cosmétiques et thérapeutiques. Ce produit, issu du nectar de fleurs ou de miellat d’insectes, est collecté et transformé par les abeilles produisant ainsi un miel unique caractéristique de la flore de chaque île. A l’issue de la récolte, l’apiculteur doit normalement veiller à ce que le miel soit conforme et respecte des caractéristiques physico-chimiques spécifiques selon les recommandations du Codex alimentarius. De plus, il doit indiquer des informations, comme l’origine botanique et géographique, sur chaque pot de miel vendu. En pratique il est toutefois très difficile de vérifier l’exactitude de ces informations, d’autant qu’elles sont mises en avant comme argument de vente.La spectrométrie dans le proche infrarouge (SPIR), basée sur les propriétés physiques d’absorption de la lumière par les composés organiques, peut être un outil de contrôle et de traçabilité des miels mis sur le marché (1, 3). L’objectif principal de cette étude a été d’évaluer la faisabilité d’un contrôle qualité (authentification de l’origine botanique et/ou géographique et détection d’adultération) des miels commerciaux produits dans l’océan Indien. Les perspectives de cette méthode de laboratoire sont importantes dans le cadre du développement des filières apicoles, notamment lorsqu’elles sont orientées vers les marchés d’exportation et vers la promotion de leur qualité auprès de consommateurs désireux de profiter de produits d’excellence et fortement attachés à des territoires insulaires uniques.Au total, 625 miels des pays de l’océan Indien (tableau I) ayant diverses origines botaniques (tableau II) ont été mesurés sans ajustement à 30 °C et après ajustement à 70 °Brix avec de l’eau distillée (3). La mesure a été réalisée en réflexion diffuse à l’aide d’une cellule ronde avec un fond réflecteur doré (trajet optique 0,1 mm) sur un spectromètre FOSS NIRSystem 5000 (1 100–2 500 nm, 2 nm). En parallèle, les mesures du degré Brix, de l’humidité et de la conductivité des miels bruts ont été réalisées au laboratoire. Après l’analyse en composantes principales (ACP) de la base spectrale des 625 miels et le calcul des distances H de Mahalanobis, 83 miels ont été identifiés comme spectralement atypiques et retirés du jeu de données (tableau I). Sur la base des distances spectrales (H, Mahalanobis), 64 miels représentatifs des 542 miels retenus ont été sélectionnés, ajustés à 70 °Brix, puis adultérés avec du sirop de sucre de canne du commerce (Mascarin®) à 25 et à 10 p. 100 par pesée.Les modèles prédictifs des teneurs en humidité, Brix et conductivité ont été établis en utilisant la régression modified partial least square (M-PLS) du logiciel WinISI 3 (Infrasoft, Port Mathilda, PA, Etats-Unis). Les modèles PLS ont été réalisés sur la base des dérivées premières des spectres normalisés (SNV) et corrigés pour la ligne de base (Detrend). Pour expliquer les critères géographiques et botaniques, nous avons utilisé une méthode non supervisée de discrimination (Cluster Analysis, Unscrumbler 10.3, CAMO, Oslo, Norvège), qui constitue des groupements naturels, sur la base des distances spectrales. Les spectres des miels non adultérés ont servi de base pour définir un espace multidimensionnel (ACP centrée, non réduite sur dérivée seconde des spectres bruts). La projection des spectres (dérivée seconde des spectres bruts) des miels adultérés sur cet espace a permis d’identifier un plan factoriel (CP1–CP7) expliquant 65 p. 100 de la variance totale, sur lequel les miels adultérés étaient nettement séparés des miels non adultérés. Les modèles d’étalonnage obtenus par régression PLS pour le degré Brix, l’humidité et la conductivité ont été performants avec des R² de l’ordre de 0,92 et des erreurs de validation croisée acceptables (tableau III) (figure 1).Les essais de groupement des individus sur la base de leur spectre (recherche de clusters), de même que l’utilisation d’autres méthodes mathématiques, comme l’analyse discriminante linéaire (LDA) et la classification support vecteur machine (SVM) à partir des origines géographiques et botaniques n’ont pas donné de résultats satisfaisants (tableau IV). Cette impossibilité de discriminer les miels de l’océan Indien serait peut-être due à une identification botanique imprécise des miels. Sans analyses polliniques des échantillons de miels, les origines botaniques ne peuvent être certifiées, en particulier les miels dits monofloraux. Plusieurs hypothèses peuvent expliquer l’impossibilité de discriminer les miels de l’océan Indien en fonction de leur origine géographique et/ou botanique. Parmi elles, les différences chimiques caractéristiques de l’origine géographique et/ou botanique correspondent à des classes de composés (aromatiques par exemple) qui n’impactent pas suffisamment les empreintes spectrales, ne permettant pas de trouver des facteurs discriminants. La projection des miels adultérés à 25 p. 100 (figure 2), sur la base de miels non adultérés montre une séparation nette des populations. En revanche, pour un niveau d’adultération à 10 p. 100, la séparation n’est pas évidente (figure 3).Les résultats obtenus montrent que la spectrométrie dans le proche infrarouge peut être utilisée pour prédire certains paramètres physico-chimiques des miels. Ces premiers résultats montrent que la constitution d’une base spectrale de miels adultérés à différents niveaux au laboratoire, associée à des méthodes de régression ou de discrimination devrait permettre l’identification de miels non-conformes, comme montré précédemment par Rios-Corripio et coll. (2).Ces résultats ne permettent pas, dans l’état actuel, de différencier l’origine géographique et botanique des miels collectés dans le commerce. La limite de détection des miels adultérés par du sucre de canne devra être déterminée. Elle se trouve entre 10 et 25 p. 100. Les fraudeurs adultérant fréquemment les miels avec du glucose, il serait important de poursuivre les essais avec ce produit. Il est donc possible de détecter, par la technique SPIR, des altérations importantes du miel par ajout de sucre de canne.

Cet article rend compte des intuitions initiales, des principes méthodologiques et des premiers résultats du projet Sittelle (Sémantique interprétative et textuelle). Cette initiative vise à expérimenter comment un corpus numérique, doté d’outils textométriques, peut donner accès à des parcours pertinents d’écrits linguistiques de François Rastier. Plusieurs caractéristiques de l’œuvre scientifique de Rastier encouragent une telle approche : sa volumétrie, son unité de pensée, ainsi qu’une écriture organisée de façon souple, fonctionnant souvent par évocation ou reprises. Des possibilités d’interrogations textométriques sont illustrées sur un corpus expérimental de 28 articles. Les concordances offrent une implémentation de la technique herméneutique des passages parallèles. Si besoin, un calcul de cooccurrence produit une synthèse statistique des contextes. La répartition globale des occurrences d’un mot peut être visualisée graphiquement. Les inventaires lexicaux permettent d’observer des dominantes, constructions et variations. Les analyses factorielles sont en mesure de produire des cartographies du corpus. Les spécificités apportent une caractérisation différentielle d’un texte. La méthode Reinert et de nouveaux modes d’interrogation seraient à étudier pour leur capacité à capter des isotopies. Quatre principes directeurs orientent les choix techniques de Sittelle : progressivité d’une expérimentation par étapes ; sens de l’intertextualité construite par le choix des textes ; ouverture dans l’esprit de la science ouverte et par des formats standards ; philologie numérique pour des représentations textuelles appropriées à l’activité herméneutique.

A novel algorithm which is image fusion based on GPU is proposed. The fused rule is regional energy. In recent years, the power of the computing of GPU has been greatly improved, which results that using it for the general-purpose computing has a rapid development. The essay researches on implementing the oriental field algorithm on GPU, including selecting GPU memories and dividing blocks and threads of GPU kernel functions. The results of experiment on the GPU of NVIDIA GTX560 are given, which shows that our proposed algorithm can be applied to the field of image fusion. Experiment shows the proposed algorithm has faster calcu-lation velocity and higher evaluation accuracy. The speed of the parallel algorithm is 200 times faster than that of the CPU-based implementation. Meanwhile the mutual information and QAB/F parameters are higher than that of the CPU-based algorithm.

Réaliser des clichés radiographiques de bonne qualité est indispensable pour analyser la présence d’une éventuelle dysplasie de hanche. Les radiographies doivent être effectuées sous tranquillisation forte ou sous anesthésie générale afin d’obtenir une myorelaxation nécessaire à la qualité des clichés. La vue radiographique standard est faite, l’animal positionné en décubitus dorsal, les fémurs parallèles entre eux, le bassin symétrique et les rotules au zénith. L’évaluation subjective des hanches peut être réalisée sur ce cliché, ainsi que la mesure des angles de Norberg-Olson. Afin d’évaluer la laxité articulaire et ainsi, le degré de dysplasie d’une hanche, des techniques dites “en distraction” ont été décrites, telles que la méthode PennHIP®, brevetée par l’université de Pennsylvanie, ou la méthode de Vezzoni, non brevetée. Un indice de distraction peut être calculé sur ces clichés, et donner des indications sur la probabilité de développement d’arthrose dans la hanche concernée. Ces techniques, lorsqu’elles sont bien appliquées, permettent d’établir des modalités thérapeutiques adaptées à chaque chien. Des vues radiographiques spécifiques, telles que la vue DAR (Dorsal Acetabular Rim) permettent notamment d’évaluer le rebord acétabulaire dorsal. Cette vue est intéressante pour décider d’une éventuelle indication d’ostéotomie du bassin.

Microwave-absorbing suspicious objects (MASOs) found using microwave-induced thermoacoustic imaging (MTI) can be divided into two types—endogenous (such as tumors or hematoceles) and exogenous (such as calculi or foreign bodies). These have different microwave absorption or ultrasonic velocity than normal human tissue, so MTI is efficient in detecting these anomalies. However, the existing MTI techniques can only reflect morphological information, making it difficult to distinguish the type of each anomaly. In this paper, a newly enhanced MTI system composed of a multiple-element ring transducer and a parallel data acquisition system (DAS) is presented. By using ultrasonic velocity and microwave absorption measurements, where the ultrasonic velocity is mainly used as an additional parameter to reflect mechanical characteristics, the type of the detected anomaly can be identified. In our experiments, the MASO can be located through the absorption difference detected by MTI. Due to the use of multiple-element transducers and a parallel DAS, the raw data can be acquired within about 20 ms for a two-dimensional image. Additionally, the ultrasonic velocity of the MASO can be calculated from the time sequence diagram of ultrasound propagation with a maximum time error of 0.084 μs. Apart from distinguishing the type of the anomaly, the proposed ultrasonic velocity-assisted microwave-induced thermoacoustic imaging (US-MTI) system has other advantages, such as being noninvasive, and allowing rapid imaging and a large field of view, which make US-MTI a suitable modality for regular screening.

Its reconstruction in the years 1637-1645 was carried out by the workshop of the royal architect Giovanni Trevano (d. 1642), who collaborated with Sebastiano Sala (d. 1651) and Hieronim Carbonari (d. 1669). The preserved elements of architectural decoration from the first half of the 17th century show close parallels with the stone details of the Wawel Royal Castle. Their origins can be found among the relevant realizations of Roman architecture of the 1580s and such as Martino Longhi the Younger and Giacomo della Porta. The reconstruction of the church after the Second Northern War in the 1660s and 1670s was carried out by Pińczów stonemasons and bricklayers from Cracow.

Background: Bloody urine is classified in farm animals as hematuria, hemoglobinuria and myoglobinuria. In small ruminants, discolored urine is reported due to several etiologies which is sometimes fatal. Of these causes are babesiosis, bacillary hemoglobinuria, copper toxicity and hypophosphatemia. Aim: This study was designed to investigate the clinical, etiological, hematobiochemical, ultrasonographic and pathological findings in rams and bucks with red urine syndrome. Methods: Eighteen male animals (9 rams and 9 bucks) of 6 months to 3 years examined. Parallel, 10 healthy controls were used. They were admitted due to red urine, voiding of only urine drops, straining during the act of urination, grunting during urination, ventral abdominal edema and abdominal distension. Duration of the disease ranged from 2 to 30 days. A history of chronic copper toxicosis was informed in 2 bucks and a ram. Two blood samples were collected from diseased as well as from controls in EDTA tubes (for complete blood count testing) and in plain tubes (for serum collection). Results: Hematuria was found in 11 animals (7 bucks and 4 rams) while hemoglobinuria was detected in 7 animals (5 bucks and 2 rams). Sonographic findings in diseased animals included ruptured urinary bladder in 3, ruptured urethra in 5, penile calculi, uroperitoneum in 6, distended urinary bladder in 7, hydronephrosis in 5, echogenic deposits in the bladder in 3 and ventral urine accumulation in 4 animals. Laboratory evaluation of Geimsa-stained blood smear confirmed the infection with Babesia in three bucks and a ram. Hemolytic anemia was marked in 2 bucks and a ram due to chronic copper toxicity. Biochemical abnormalities included hypoalbuminemia, hyperglobulinemia, increased blood urea nitrogen and creatinine concentration and hyperglycemia. Postmortem examination was carried out on 6 animals (4 rams and 2 bucks). Conclusion: Discolored urine in rams and bucks in this study resulted from hematuria due to urinary calculi and pelvic abscessation or from hemoglobinuria due to Babesia infection or due to copper toxicity. Hemolytic anemia was the outstanding hematological finding and hypoalbuminemia, hyperglobulinemia, increased BUN and creatinine and hyperglycemia were the characteristic biochemical findings. Sonography of the urinary tract was very helpful in assessing the renal parenchyma, urinary bladder and the abdominal cavity for the verification of urolithiasis, hydronephrosis, intact or ruptured urinary bladder, uroperitoneum and perforated urethra.

To explore the value of MRI evaluation of indomethacin suppositories in the prevention of pancreatitis and hyperamylasemia in patients with common bile duct calculi after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) based on image denoising algorithm. Methods. A retrospective analysis in August 2020 to December 2021. Because of the common bile duct calculi hospitalized parallel ERCP operation, 89 cases of patients, according to the different postoperative treatments, were divided into group A ( n = 44 ) and group B ( n = 45 ), in which A set of separate application inhibits the pancreatic enzyme secretion after surgery drug treatment, and B group on the basis of group A linked with indole beauty Xinshuan treatment. The incidence of postoperative pancreatitis and hyperamylasemia was compared between the two groups. The levels of serum amylase were compared between the two groups. Patients in group B were diagnosed with pancreatitis by conventional MRI and MRI with denoising algorithm, respectively, and the imaging characteristics and diagnosis rate differences of the two methods were observed. ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of MRI denoising algorithm for postoperative pancreatitis and serum amylase level detection for hyperamylasemia. Results. The incidence of postoperative pancreatitis and hyperamylasemia in group B was significantly lower than that in group A ( P < 0.05 ). There were 6 cases of postoperative pancreatitis in group B, 2 cases (33.33%) were diagnosed by conventional MRI, and 5 cases (83.33%) were diagnosed by MRI based on denoising algorithm. Although there was no significant difference in diagnosis rate between the two methods, the number of cases of pancreatitis diagnosed by MRI based on denoising algorithm was slightly higher than that by conventional MRI. Compared with conventional MRI images, MRI images with denoising algorithm showed that the number of cases with pancreatic swelling, the number of cases with pancreatic duct/bile duct dilation, and the number of cases with abdominal effusion were all high (all P < 0.05 ). ROC results showed that the area under the curve of MRI with denoising algorithm for the diagnosis of postoperative pancreatitis was 0.855, and the sensitivity was 89.40%. The specificity was 83.20%, and the area under the curve of serum amylase for postoperative hyperamylasemia was 0.893, the sensitivity was 89.80%, and the specificity was 85.20%, all of which had high diagnostic efficacy. Conclusion. MRI results of denoising algorithm suggest that indomethacin suppositories can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative pancreatitis and hyperamylasemia after ERCP, which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective: The purpose of the present study was to compare the Miniperc and standard percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the Treatment of Renal Stone. Methodology: This randomized control trial was conducted in the Department of Urology at National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology, Dhaka and some private hospitals in Dhaka city of Bangladesh from July 2016 to November 2017 for a period of one and half year. Patients from 18 to 65 years of age with renal calculi ( 2cm) were selected on the basis of plain X-ray and ultra-sonogram of KUB region, from Urology outpatient Department (OPD) in National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology (NIKDU), Dhaka and some private hospitals in Dhaka city. Patients were selected in every alternate sequence (odd numbers for Miniperc in Intervention group and even numbers for Standard PCNL, control group). All patients underwent PCNL of both the procedures under general anesthesia and received intravenous broad spectrum antibiotics. Results: A total number of 60 patients were selected for study of which 30 patients were underwent miniperc and 30 patients were undergoing standard PCNL. The mean age of miniperc group and PCNL group were 34.43±11.09 and 36.70 ± 12.27 years respectively. An overall stone clearance rates was 93.33 (28) in intervention group and 6.67 % (2) was not cleared. Among the control group an overall stone clearance rates were 96.67% (29) and 3.33% (1) was not cleared. Stone clearance rates were not significant. The mean operative time (min) of intervention group was 97.47±15.03 and the mean operative time (min) of control was 86.37±17.73 Operative time was significant between the groups (p<0.05). The effect of diffraction on the directional light transmittance of grating optical filters designed for smart windows is studied. The filter has an angular selective light transmission due to two thin-film gratings formed by "non-transmissive" (absorptive, reflective or scattering) parallel strips on the surfaces of a single or double glazed window. Methods are considered for calculating the op-timal slope angle of two filter’s gratings, their relative position on the opposite window surfaces and the widths of the strips of both gratings to minimize light transmission on a specific date and time of day for a given latitude and longitude of the building and azimuth of the window. A meth-od has been developed for calculating the diffraction at the input and output gratings of the filter with regard for a complex movement of the Sun relative to the window and a corresponding change in the incidence angle of the solar beams on the gratings. To evaluate a decrease in the light transmittance of the filter due to diffraction, an additional factor is introduced into the calcu-lation equation. Geometric parameters of the filters and diffraction are calculated. The values of the diffraction factor are 0.9999992 and 0.9999998 for single or double glazed windows, respec-tively, i.e., the influence of diffraction on the light transmittance of the grating filter can be ne-glected.

Background: The incidence of urinary lithiasis has been increasing in recent decades at all ages, including the elderly. In parallel, the world population is aging and there is a paucity of data on treatment of urinary stones in very elderly people. Our main objective was to evaluate the effects of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) in patients older than 75 years, and the characteristics of this population. Complications and mortality rates after this procedure in octogenarians were also described. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated very elderly patients who underwent ESWL at our institution from 1998 to 2015, through chart review, telephone interviews, and consultation with the municipal mortality information program. Measured outcomes included demographic and clinical data, ESWL characteristics and complications, interval between ESWL and death, and cause of death. Results: Demographic and treatment characteristics were similar between very elderly and younger patients who underwent ESWL during the same period. No severe complications occurred among older patients. Octogenarians treated in our cohort had a significant life expectancy when ESWL procedures were performed. Even though 38.9% of the patients passed away during the studied period, mortality occurred on average 4.38 years after the ESWL session. Conclusions: In conclusion, ESWL has been used by urologists as a first-line treatment for uncomplicated urinary calculi in very elderly patients. Despite changes associated with aging, and the high prevalence of comorbidities, this procedure seems to be safe and well tolerated in elderly people.

BACKGROUND: Modern drugs could sometimes be a good solution even to problematic patients. The cutaneous and systemic forms of the CD30 positive anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma could often be described as a suitable target for therapy with Brentuximab vedotin.CASE REPORT: We present the first case of a Bulgarian patient with a histologically confirmed primary cutaneous T-cell CD30+/ALK- large anaplastic cell lymphoma-cALCL (therapeutically resistant to therapy with Methotrexate, radiation therapy and systemic corticosteroid therapy) who was successfully treated with Brentuximab vedotin. In several years, the patient has developed a comparatively fast skin progression as well as an initial systemic one which impacts inguinal and mediastinal nodes. After the implementation of 4 therapy cycles with Brentuximab vedotin, complete regression of the described by previous hospitalisations lymph nodes as well as 80% reduction of the cutaneous and subcutaneous located tumour formations were observed.CONCLUSION: The therapy of CD30+/ALK- anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma is a significant challenge for oncologists and dermatologists because it requires maximally efficient and minimally traumatic treatment in parallel. Therapy with Brentuximab is a new direction which shows extremely good clinical results and can be applied to the cutaneous as well as to the systemic form of anaplastic large-cell CD30 positive lymphoma. The key element by treatment with Brentuximab is suppression of the CD30- expression which, in turn, could be the cause of relapses. On that ground, patients with these lymphomas should be strictly monitored.

L’objectif de notre étude était de comparer les taux de TCL du Système canadien hospitalier d’information et de recherche en prévention des traumatismes (SCHIRPT) à Montréal aux taux fondés sur la population (taux de TCL au Québec). Méthodologie Nous avons calculé les taux de TCL du SCHIRPT selon deux méthodes, en utilisant comme dénominateur : 1) toutes les blessures du SCHIRPT et 2) le nombre d’enfants et de jeunes de 0 à 17 ans vivant dans un rayon de 5 km de l’un des deux centres participant au SCHIRPT à Montréal. Nous avons comparé les taux de TCL du SCHIRPT aux taux provinciaux en fonction du sexe et de l’âge. Résultats Que le dénominateur soit l’ensemble des blessures du SCHIRPT ou le nombre d’enfants et de jeunes de 0 à 17 ans vivant dans un rayon de 5 km de l’un des deux centres participant au SCHIRPT à Montréal, les fluctuations observées dans le SCHIRPT se sont révélées parallèles à celles des taux du Québec entre 2003 et 2016. Avec la stratification des données selon le sexe et l’âge, le SCHIRPT a généré de meilleures estimations des taux fondés sur la population pour les groupes d’âge les plus jeunes (de 0 à 4 ans) et les plus âgés (de 13 à 17 ans). Conclusion Le SCHIRPT de Montréal est un outil valable pour estimer les variations des taux de TCL au sein de la population. Il pourrait donc aussi être utilisé pour estimer les taux fondés sur la population pour d’autres types de blessures.

Introduction Evidence has shown a trend towards rising mortality from surgical abdominal conditions with increasing distance from hospitals in Eastern India. It has been claimed that imaging modalities such as portable ultrasound are ideal for use in rural areas of developing countries for diagnosis and management of a variety of acute abdominal conditions. This mixed-methods study aimed to explore the need for increased access to POCUS in rural, hard-to-reach populations within India, and to identify barriers that may exist to increasing this access. Methods This mixed-methods study utilized a health needs assessment framework. Quantitative data was extracted from medical records within two outreach camp organisations supporting hard-to-reach populations in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand to provide contextual background statistics. Qualitative data was collected using semi-structured interviews taken from employees of each outreach camp. A framework analysis was employed to analyse the qualitative data. Both datasets were analysed in parallel. Results Twelve semi-structured interviews were undertaken, and 3 months of medical records were reviewed. Themes that presented themselves from the data included the use of camps for case-finding of conditions amenable to routine surgery, a need for POCUS to help with this diagnostic process, a perceived high disease burden from renal calculi, and complex cultural and legislative barriers to POCUS specific to this setting. Discussion POCUS was considered a useful tool in expanding access to surgery for these settings and finding ways of overcoming cultural and legislative barriers to its use should be of high priority. POCUS should be highly portable, robust, easily repairable, and battery operated. For telemedicine to be fully utilised, signal quality will have to be proven to be reliable.

Gout Patients either produce excess Uric acid or are unable to excrete Uric acid produced in normal conditions. Uric acid lowering therapy (ULT) has become popular regarding management of gout. Nowadays. 2 drugs which are responsible for decreasing synthesis of Uric acid are Febuxostat and Allopurinol. The purpose of this study is to determine efficacy of Febuxostat and Allopurinol experienced by patients during course of therapy.Methods: It was an open, prospective, observational, non-invasive, parallel and randomised study, conducted at the Outpatient Department of Urology, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. It had 60 patients of gout, out which, 30 patients were administered Febuxostat and 30 patients were administered Allopurinol. For each patient, history regarding drug intake was taken, along with analysis of Serum Uric acid profile before prescription and during follow up.Results: The mean age selected for study was 47 years for Febuxostat group and 43 years for Allopurinol group. Mean Urate (mg%) in pre-treatment stage of patients of Febuxostat group is about 8.28 whereas for Allopurinol group its about 8.61. Mean urate levels after 4 follow ups (10 days each) were conducted. The mean Urate level at 10, 20, 30, 40 days were conducted at each group which were found to be statistically significant and the results of Febuxostat group was found to be favourable.Conclusions: Febuxostat, (40mg) given at daily dose was found to have higher efficacy than allopurinol, at a dose of 100mg (zyloric) which is the most commonly prescribed dose in order to lower the serum urate level.

Abstract Purpose To investigate the microstructure of the lacrimal canaliculus and the characteristics of lacrimal canalicular diseases by 80-MHz ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM). Methods This study included 33 participants: 20 normal subjects (40 eyes), 2 patients with chronic lacrimal canaliculitis (4 eyes), 10 patients with chronic dacryocystitis (16 eyes), and 1 patient with lacrimal punctum atresia (2 eyes). All participants underwent 80-MHz UBM; disease-specific features were noted. Results On 80-MHz UBM of the lacrimal canaliculi (vertical section) in normal subjects, low echo of the lacrimal canalicular lumen and high echo of the lacrimal canalicular wall were observed. The uniform low echo near the wall was the mucosal epithelium. The outermost layer of medium-to-high echo was the subepithelial elastic fibrous layer. In the horizontal section, the lumen was continuous. Two linear high echoes parallel to the canalicular wall could be observed at the center of the lacrimal canaliculus, which were sometimes attached and sometimes separated. When separated, the center of the lacrimal canaliculus was a low echo area (lumen). Lacrimal canaliculitis (vertical section) showed obvious ectasia of the lacrimal canalicular lumen, with a high echo mass shadow, which might have been calculi, and uneven thickness of the mucosal epithelium with a slightly high echo shadow. In the horizontal section, the lumen varied in size with clear boundaries of medium and high echoes. The central linear high echoes of the lumen were absent, and the echoes of the mucosal epithelium were discontinuous. In chronic dacryocystitis, the lacrimal canalicular lumen was extensively enlarged, with continuous echoes and uniform thickness of the mucosal epithelium and homogeneous patches of slightly higher echoes. Lacrimal punctum atresia indicated that the lacrimal canaliculus existed in both eyes and its structure was normal. Conclusions The 80-MHz UBM is a new non-invasive technique that can be used for clear visualization of the fine structure of the lacrimal canaliculus, including the mucosal epithelium and subepithelial elastic fiber layer. The use of this approach will improve understanding of the hierarchical structure of the lacrimal canaliculi and provide a comprehensive basis for diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment plan in patients with lacrimal passage diseases.

El objetivo de este artículo es el de proporcionar información sobre la carga de entrenamiento a partir del seguimiento de un atleta durante siete meses de preparación para una competición de Ironman (3.8 km de natación, 180 km de ciclismo y 42.195 km de carrera), utilizando una metodología de entrenamiento con registros diarios de variabilidad de la frecuencia cardiaca (VFC). Como variable para evaluar la actividad parasimpática se calculó la raíz cuadrada de la media de las diferencias de la suma de los cuadrados entre intervalos RR adyacentes (RMSSD) y el índice de estrés (SS) como indicador de actividad simpática. En los meses dos, tres y cuatro presentó un moderado incremento del SS (d =1,17) paralelamente a una moderada disminución de la RMSSD (d = -1,04). Para los meses cinco, seis, y siete se observó una pequeña disminución del SS (d = -0,23) y moderado aumento de la RMSSD (d = 1,08). Como concusión es que las mediciones de VFC de cinco minutos al despertar parecen ser una forma útil de monitorizar el estado de equilibrio parasimpático en un triatleta antes de abordar las sesiones de entrenamiento. El análisis de esta monitorización serviría para detectar precozmente posibles estados de fatiga y para poder modificar, en caso necesario, la planificación de las cargas de entrenamiento en la preparación para una competición de Ironman. Summary. The objective of this article is to provide information on the relationship between external (TL) and internal training load (ITL) from the tracking of an athlete during seven months of preparation for an Ironman competition (3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42,195 km of running), using a training methodology with daily records of the heart rate variability (HRV). As a variable to assess parasympathetic activity, the square root of the mean of the differences in the sum of the squares between adjacent RR intervals (RMSSD) was calculated, together with the stress score (SS) as an indicator of sympathetic activity. In months two, three and four, there was a moderate increase in SS (d = 1.17) parallel to a moderate decrease in RMSSD (d = -1.04). In months five, six, and seven, a small decrease in SS (d = -0.23) and a moderate increase in RMSSD (d = 1.08) were observed. As a conclusion, the five-minute HRV measurements upon awakening appear to be a useful tool to monitor the state of parasympathetic equilibrium in a triathlete before approaching training sessions. The analysis of this monitoring would serve to detect possible fatigue states in the early stages and to modify, if necessary, the training load planning in preparation for an Ironman competition.

The main classification indicator, in terms of fire safety, is the degree of fire resistance of the house. Depending on this indicator normalize its surface, the area of development and distance to other buildings and structures. The de-gree of fire resistance of the house is determined by the limit of fire resistance of its building structures and the limit of the fire spread by these structures. Therefore, the value of the fire resistance limit of building constructions, which con-sists of a house, significantly affect its architectural solution and the parameters of construction in general. On this ba-sis, taking into account the approaches to ensuring normalized fire resistance limits of the design and the features of their behavior under high-temperature (fire) influence is very relevant.Most research on building constructions. The proposed work is devoted to the application of the direct method to the study of heat transfer processes in the system of two embedded spherical bodies – a ball in a sphere. It is assumed that there is an ideal thermal contact between the balls, and the law of temperature change on the outer surface is an arbitrary function of time, and evenly distributed over the surface of the ball. Consequently, isotherms inside this construction are concentric fields, that is, the problem is symmetric and is solved for the first time in such a statement. To solve such a problem, in parallel, the auxil-iary problem of determining the distribution of a non-stationary temperature field in a two-layer hollow spherical structure with a "extracted" sphere of sufficiently small radius is raised. In this case the symmetry condition of the original problem is replaced by the condition of the second kind on the inner surface of this construction. The implementation of the solution of the auxiliary problem is carried out by applying a reduction method using the concept of quasiderivatives. In the future, the Fourier scheme is used with the use of the modified eigenfunctions method. To find the solution of the original problem, the idea of the boundary transition is used by passing the radius of the withdrawn bullet to zero. It is established that in this approach all the eigenfunctions of the corresponding problem on the eigenvalues have no singularities at zero, which means that the solutions of the original problem are constrained throughout the design. The solution of this problem at zero temperature on the outer surface coincides with those known in the literature. To illustrate the proposed method, a model example of finding the temperature field distribution in a system of two spherical bodies with different thermophysical properties of materials is solved. The results of the calcu-lations are presented in the form of a table and a three-dimensional graph of temperature change, depending on the time and spatial coordinates. The generalization of the results obtained in the event of any finite number of nested balls is a purely technical problem, and not a fundamental one. Note that while changing the boundary condition of the first kind to any other boundary condition (for example, the third kind) does not affect the scheme of solving similar tasks. Since the general scheme of studying the distribution of temperature fields in multi-layered structures with an arbitrary number of layers in the presence of internal sources of heat is studied in detail, the setting and solving of such problems for the system of nested balls does not cause any difficulty.
