The concept of “deep play” by Clifford Geertz, in our society can be referred to football. The pervasiveness of this game and its language, its multiple playful forms and the fact that it is the most practiced game at both a formal and informal level since childhood, and most represented, create the pedagogical conditions for the education of a collective identity of which football is the “background”.

Abstract:
The quantity and quality of yield is determined by the soil quality. The agriculture is one of the main human activities that affect soil quality. In Dolj, the agriculture occupies an important place in the economy of the County. The main soils found in DoljCounty were Chernozems and Luvisols. Several indicators are used to quantify the physical quality of the soil. To assess soil physical quality, disturbed samples from each pedogenetic horizon were collected to analyse: particle size distribution, soil organic content, dispersion and macrohydrostability. Undisturbed samples were also collected (by using a core sampler), for: bulk density, total porosity, saturated hydraulic conductivity, resistance to penetration determination. The degree of compaction, the packing density, the structural stability index as well as the structural instability index were obtained by calculation. The results showed that according to the degree of compaction values, both studied Luvisols (except ArenicLuvisols), and HyposodicCalcaro-calcic Chernozems and Haplic Chernozems with fine texture were severely compacted and required loosening works. Most of the studied horizons of Luvisols had low – extremely low permeability. With a few exceptions, the values of the resistance to penetration were medium. The HyposodicCalcaro-calcic Chernozems shows the highest values of structural instability index.

Abstract:
In mid 2000s the tv rights income reaches a 873 million euro for the 2005-06 season, with the Serie A tv rights annual income to gradually increase from a 844 million euro for the 2009-10 season to an amazing approximate 1,4 billion euro for the 2018-21 season. All these years Lega Calcio experimented a lot in the designing and application of a tv rights selling mechanism and its accompanied tv rights income distribution model. The Greek Superleague followed similar paths with Lega Calcio, when for many years in early 2000s clubs could exploit their tv rights by themselves. Even later, in late 200s and after the establishment of SL and with the collective selling mechanism in use, this mechanism didn’t include all participating clubs. The study aims to show how could Greek Superleague higher management staff learn from the Serie A tv rights deal history and follow the league’s recent tv rights optimal collective selling practices.

Abstract:
Abstract Measurement noise differs by instrument and limits the validity and reliability of findings. Researchers collecting reaction time data introduce noise in the form of response time latency from hardware and software, even when collecting data on standardized computer-based experimental equipment. Reaction time is a measure with broad application for studying cognitive processing in communication research that is vulnerable to response latency noise. In this study, we utilized an Arduino microcontroller to generate a ground truth value of average response time latency in Asteroid Impact, an open source, naturalistic, experimental video game stimulus. We tested if response time latency differed across computer operating system, software, and trial modality. Here we show that reaction time measurements collected using Asteroid Impact were susceptible to response latency variability on par with other response-latency measuring software tests. These results demonstrate that Asteroid Impact is a valid and reliable stimulus for measuring reaction time data. Moreover, we provide researchers with a low-cost and open-source tool for evaluating response time latency in their own labs. Our results highlight the importance of validating measurement tools and support the philosophy of contributing methodological improvements in communication science.

Abstract:
Collected samples of bentonite and associated facies from the Justina deposit of Cretaceous age (Anacleto Formation) have been studied. Facies analysis, mineralogical, and geochemical studies have been carried out using several techniques, including: XRD, FTIR, DTA-TGA, microscopy (OM, SEM-EDX), and chemical analysis. The deposit occurs in a shallow, saline lacustrine environment developed over a fluvial floodplain, with a thickness between 0.21 and 0.8 m intercalated between fine-grained siliciclastic facies. Three mineral assemblages were found. In assemblage 1, the bentonite has low content of detrital minerals and the smectite is sodic. In assemblage 2, the bentonite shows the occurrence of minor analcime and mica, slightly higher detrital mineral content and the smectite is sodic to sodic-calcic. The associated detrital facies (assemblage 3) is dominated by illite and a mixed layer of illite and calcic smectite (R0), subordinately kaolinite + chlorite, and locally low-ordered smectite. As inherited minerals are found: quartz, potassium feldspar, plagioclase, illite-mica, heavy minerals (monazite, zircon, apatite, titanomagnetite) and volcanic rock fragments (andesite, glass). Authigenic minerals are: sodium smectite, analcime, barite, celestine, gypsum, and hematite. A model for the formation of authigenic minerals is proposed, highlighting the formation of sodic smectite from the alteration of volcanic glass of trachyandesitic composition.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The objective of this research is to analyze a set of identitary and territorial practices that take place in the Andean village of Guamal in northwest Caldas, Colombia. This ethnographic and documentary research was developed between 2013 and 2019. The Guamal community, whose members are mainly descendants from colonial period slaves, settles in an indigenous reservation ruled by the Cañamomo Lomaprieta Council. The main purpose of this research is to understand how the various identities (collective, ethnic, communitary and individual) and the territorial appropriation interact, sometimes in a conflicting way and sometimes in a conciliatory way. This research highlights the relational transformations that have taken place through history among groups and individuals in the light of power struggles. After 28 years since the promulgation of the 1991 Colombian Constitution, the ethnic groups have taken advantage of the constitutional protection of multiculturalism to modify, once more, the borders of both the territory and their identities. At the local level, the encounter of different kinds of authorities has produced a very particular administrative model that sometimes makes those authorities overlap in political and legal ambiguities. Similarly, some newer categories are appropriated and resignified which results in the interweaving of reclaimed identities. Consequently, new social, relational and territorial configurations arise

Abstract:
The present research studies the social practices to be observed on local scenes, i.e. groups of various actors as musicians, “support systems” and audiences. This thesis contributes to the understanding of the way creators are committed to practices driven by a desire to express their singularity. What is at stake here is to identify how these practices have been shaped by pluralist social representations in northern France. A dual theoretical framework combines both comprehensive and pragmatic sociologies. The period under study spans 5 years from 2009 to 2013 and the empirical study lies on two methodological approaches. On the one hand, a qualitative analysis based upon both semi-structured and unstructured interviews with 52 respondents that were involved one way or another on local scenes, be they artists or associate private or political intermediaries. On the other hand, a quantitative survey used to verify the empirical data relative to the practices and profiles of the musicians, the sample being made of musicians from the city of Lille. The results show the ambivalence in the representation of all the actors that contribute to the formation of local scenes. The cooperative dimension of such practices in keeping with material conditions favored by the digital era have been underlined. Finally, the artisan dimension of the projects represents one of the major stakes this research highlights

INTRODUCTION: Low energy availability and hypothalamic amenorrhea are both risk factors for developing insufficient bone mineral density (BMD) in young physically active women. The prevalence of osteopenia in women athletes is estimated to be between 22-50%. PURPOSE: Determine the effect of calorie restriction and hypothalamic suppression on bone strength and geometrical measures. METHODS: 30 female Sprague-Dawley rats, age day 23, were randomly assigned to a control (C, n=8) group that received daily saline injections (0.2cc) for 27 days and sacrificed at age day 50, or two experimental groups; delayed puberty (GnRH-a, n=14) that received daily injections of gonadotropin releasing hormone antagonist (GnRH-a, 0.2cc, dosage 0.2mg*kg-1) or food restricted and delayed puberty (FR-G, n=8) that received daily injections of gonadotropin releasing hormone antagonist and had a 30% caloric restriction (no deficit in micronutrients) based on the C group's average daily food consumption. All animals were sacrificed at age day of 50. RESULTS: Body weight on day of sacrifice of the FR-G was significantly lower than C (15%, p < 0.001) while GnRH-a was significantly higher than C (8%, p=0.013). The GnRH-a treatment was successful indicated by significantly lower uterine and ovary weights in both the FR-G and GnRH-a groups (p < 0.001). The percent muscle to fat ratio of the FR-G group was significantly higher than control (64%, p=0.038). There was no difference in absolute femoral peak moment, however when normalized for body weight the FR-G and GnRH-a groups were significantly higher than control (19%, p = 0.004 and 20%, p < 0.001 respectively). Cortical bone total area was significantly less in the FR-G group as compared to control (10%, p = 0.043) however, FR-G had a larger cortical thickness compared to control (15%, p = 0.036). In the trabecular both the GnRH-a and FR-G groups had a significantly lower percent bone volume per total volume (BV/TV) compared to control (p < 0.001). However, when normalized for body weight, the percent bone volume of the FR-G group was higher than both control (p = 0.046) and GnRH-a (p < 0.001). The structure was also affected, GnRH-a and FR-G had a higher structural model index (SMI) values than control (p = 0.002, p = 0.007). CONCLUSION: Hypothalamic suppression and caloric restriction before puberty reduced body weight, body fat, and muscle weight while increasing femoral peak moment relative to body weight and increasing cortical thickness in the femur while maintaining trabecular volume per body weight. These results could suggest bone strength is more correlated with body composition than hypothalamic function.

Abstract:
The French Revolution's period that stretches from 1791 to 1793 stands as a time of uncertainty and reconstruction as far as political commitments are concerned. From Pas-de-Calais to Ardennes, French border territories may be considered as a crossroads where men and ideas circulate between Paris, England, and Belgium. The quantitative analysis of the themes tackled in petitions, adresses, songs underscores the fact that groups from different socio-political origins share the same references : the defence of the motherland or the struggle against conspiracies. However, the study of riots or civil ceremonies reveals thet the various ways of using these references compete against each other. The political endorsement, which can be defined as the local adaptation of general topics, becomes more obvious at a time when new intermediaries - such as soldiers or members of political societies - manifest themselves more openly. This adaptation of general political themes to the material aspirations as well as the military fears of population encourages collective identifications and causes wider commitments. At the same time, these endorsements entail distortions of meaning, making it impossible for any collective entity to control them. The neccesary public safety, as well as politically biased strategies, thus lead officials and political activists to establish new structures of control whose aim is to stabilize local and national order. Therefore, we offer a contribution to the history of politization and revolutionary forces, whose ambition is to account for the numerous interactions and possibilities

Abstract:

Abstract:
This thesis discuss the theme of integration and articulation between urban and transportation planning, with the aim of evaluate and studyi the sense and potentialities of the application of a Regional Plan for Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. A multidisciplinary and multi-scalar approach, following the principles of interdependence between all different elements of the territory, which is found in the concept of "networked city" of Dupuy. The aim is to address the themes of mobility and transport, according to a new paradigm, based on the concepts of accessibility, connectivity and multimodality and therefore according to the idea of an urbanism and a development oriented to transit and non-motorized transport, rather than car-oriented. The thesis is part of a phd research in urban and transportation planning, held at the University of Science and Technology of Lille 1, through a joint supervision between the Laboratoire Ville MObilité et Transport (LVMT - IFSTTAR) and the University of Calabria (Italy) and a scientific collaboration with Venezuelan engineering firm Modelistica

Abstract:
What does it mean to be a "jew" in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais coastal area from the end of the 18th century to the present days? Two concepts can help us understand the mechanisms of how this identity come to be built : identification and membership. Indeed, as early as the end of the 18th century, various administrations sought to designate people as "jews". The issues and the implementation of these identification procedures differ according to the place and time they were put into practise. This thesis proposes to study at the level of a region, and at the level of men and women, the uses of the concept of "jewish identity" by a cross-study of the rationale based on identity developed by the institutions in charge of that work and the ways people who were targeted by it made it theirs. the purpose of the crossover study is to provide an original insight into this question, which has prompted many philosophical and theological reflections : "What is a JEW ?"

Abstract:
AbstractComposting is one of the most widely used technologies for the recovery and use of organic waste from municipal solid waste (MSW); however, its implementation in some developing countries has mostly been ineffective. This chapter documents the experience of the composting of municipal organic waste in the urban area of the municipality of Versalles, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Within the locality, composting of organic waste occurs at an MSW management plant (SWMP), after being separated at the source and selectively collected. The information presented was generated through collaborative research projects, conducted with the cooperation of Camino Verde APC (a community-based organisation providing sanitation services) and Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia). The evaluations undertaken show that (i) within the locality, high rates of separation, at the source, in conjunction with selective collection and efficient waste sorting and classification processes in the SWMP, have significantly facilitated the composting process; (ii) the incorporation of locally available amendment or bulking materials (e.g. star grass and cane bagasse) improves the physicochemical quality of the processed organic waste and favours development (i.e. a reduction in process time), leading to an improvement in product quality; (iii) the operation, maintenance and monitoring of the composting process can be carried out by previously trained local human talent; and (iv) revenues from the sale of the final product (compost) are not sufficient to cover the operating costs of the composting process. Despite this current lack of financial viability, the application of technology entails environmental benefits (e.g. a reduction in the generation of greenhouse gases) and social benefits (e.g. employment opportunities), which, given the conditions in the municipality studied, highlight the relevance of this technological option.

Abstract:
To trace the evolution of research strands in published Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) papers over time, a corpus of 426 highly-cited papers in four major CALL journals (ReCALL, CALL, LL&T, and CALICO Journal) was compiled and coded using NVivo 12. All identified aspects of technology-mediated language learning and teaching were collected to produce a comprehensive list of 690 recurring research strands and then, by adopting a constant comparison method, were merged to form 119 unique research strands. The top 10 alone represent almost half of all research strands: Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC), writing, vocabulary, feedback, evaluation, learning environment, telecollaboration, design, speaking, and grammar. This paper provides the rationale for the study along with the methodology for data collection and analysis, with a particular focus on the dominant and intermediary strands to inform future CALL publications.

Abstract:
This chapter explores the links between existing collective terminologies and their effect on identity and the collective mental health of racialised communities in the UK. It considers the existing literature on collective racial language, taking issue with terms ‘BAME’, ‘BME’, ‘POC’, ‘Minority Ethnic’, ‘Ethnic Minorities’, ‘Visible Minorities’, with attempts to methodically move towards a more Compassionate, Accurate, Linguistically sound and Contextually conscious (CALC) collective phrase for people who experience racism. The chapter notes the detrimental impact of combining a global pandemic, which problematises ‘BAME’ people with ambiguity and confusion, and its effect on individual and collective consciousness. Through this analysis I argue the need for a new collective term determined by the people. The result of my investigation, however, is that an objective outcome cannot be achieved when dealing with identity and the subjective.

Abstract:
This chapter examines the theory and organisational practices of ensuring ‘safety’ for those participating in transnational migrant solidarity collectives. It uses ethnographic materials gained from participatory activist scholarship in Calais and London migrant solidarity collectives and assesses the ability of these groups to respond to the differentiated vulnerabilities that individuals bring to the protest camp- particularly in terms of the experiences and responses to structural oppression such as racism, sexism and homophobia. The current preference for safer spaces policies as one way of mediating conflict in activist collectives will be examined in terms of who may be left behind when individual trauma or addiction can leave people unable or unwilling to act according to the rules that these policies prescribe, and seeks different modes of collaboration that may not always feel safe or comfortable for all involved.

One important component of digital academic library construction is to sort out the unique or rare resources from academic institutions by digitalizing and organizing them by themes. Building special subject databases is an important sub-project under CALIS. Throughout the continued construction and development of Phases I, II and III, a large number of special subject databases have been built. These databases are not only important digital resources that strengthen discipline development, but they are also rich special data resources of digital libraries for higher education in China. By reviewing the development path of the CALIS Special Subject Collection, this chapter will cover the management mechanism, technical platform, standards, social benefits, and philosophy behind it.

Abstract:
Colombia is a country that is growing in technological and economical areas, but cultural diversity, armed conflict, and everyday violence are forces that lessen the progress. The Ministry of Education proposed in 2004 standards for citizenship competencies that intend to teach children and youths abilities to live peacefully and respect the others. These standards have encouraged multiple initiatives and innovation to achieve goal in social and citizenship competencies. A research group of Universidad de Caldas created and evaluated a serious virtual game to support this policy. The game is a multiuser virtual game called Civia that shows a metaphor of collective challenge. Peaceful interaction, participation and respect are values required for survival in the game. Players can take individual decisions that affect positively or negatively the collective status, but an overall positive balance is needed to maintain collective resources. It was expected that collective auto regulation led to the learning of patterns and competencies to live peacefully together. Currently, there is no consensus in the research community about what and how video games can take learning outcomes and behavioral effects. An evaluation of the game shows positive results; however, some concerns about the complexity of everyday life about social interaction and learning transferability arise. The authors discuss findings according to proposed theories and models about effects of video games in education and behavior.

Abstract:
Abstract Caloric effects are reversible thermal changes that occur in a solid material in response to an external field, either magnetic, electric or mechanical. Materials with large caloric effects are candidates to be used for environmentally friendly, solid-state refrigerators. In the case of mechanocaloric effect, thermal changes are induced by a mechanical field. Most of the work to date has been carried out by the application and removal of uniaxial stress or hydrostatic pressure and the corresponding caloric effects are usually denoted as elastocaloric and barocaloric effects, respectively. Mechanocaloric effects are very large when they occur associated with a ferroelastic phase transition involving a collective atomic rearrangement as occurs in martensitic phase transitions that involve a change of symmetry of the unit cell. Recently, it has been theoretically suggested that the possibility of actuating with more complex mechanical fields such as bending or twisting should have a several advantages. In this work we present a study of flexocaloric effect in superelastic materials exhibiting structural transitions.

Abstract:
Growing environmental awareness, the current legislations, and the increasing competition in the energy market lead gas turbine manufacturers to develop combustion chambers that have to guarantee low NOx emissions, low pressure drop and high combustor outlet temperature. Modern annular and can-type gas turbine combustion chambers, able to work in lean premixed mode, show a remarkable attitude to produce flame instabilities, well known as humming. Many theoretical approaches have been proposed in order to describe the phenomenon and predict the stability margin of the burner. Experimental tests are needed to assess mathematical models and to evaluate the effects of either active or passive methodologies adopted to reduce combustion driven instabilities. Tests have been carried out at the Ansaldo Caldaie test bed on a real-size annular combustion chamber, equipped with a certain number of Helmholtz resonators. The combustion chamber has been instrumented with piezoelectric and opto-electronic transducers in order to determine the pressure field both in proximity of the instability limit and in humming condition. When pressure data are collected before than humming appears, pressure oscillations are much lower than those gathered in humming conditions; therefore, by using sensors designed to work under the pressure levels characterising the humming conditions, difficulties arise in proximity of the stability limit due the low signal-to-noise ratio. In this paper some techniques used to analyse the data gathered from the tests will be shown. Moreover, a simple algorithm capable to analyse a large amount of data and to synthesise them into a few significant parameters useful for the spectral analysis of the pressure field, has been validated by means of both real and simulated signals.

Abstract:
Cancer cachexia is a systemic disease characterized by muscle and adipose loss that cannot be reversed by increasing caloric intake. Our previous research has shown insulin resistance precedes cancer cachexia in the C26 mouse model of cachexia, and a diet high in linoleic acid, the essential omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid, attenuates the C26-induced insulin resistance. Therefore, to better understand how dietary linoleic acid is improving insulin sensitivity, we characterized gene expression changes in three major tissues responsible for controlling insulin sensitivity: skeletal muscle, adipose, and liver. To do this male CD2F1 (Charles River, MA) were randomized to semi-purified diet (24% fat by weight) containing fat prominently from lard, or containing fat prominently from safflower oil (a linoleic acid-rich oil). One week after diet randomization, mice were inoculated with colon-26 (C26) adenocarcinoma cells (1.0E6 cells). 13 days after inoculation mice were euthanized and gastrocnemius skeletal muscle, epididymal white adipose tissue, and liver tissue were collected for total transcriptome analysis using poly-A enriched next generation RNA-sequencing. Differentially expressed genes were selected based on p-values < 0.05. There were no detectable differences in body weight or food intake between the two diets in mice with C26 tumors. Between the two diets 12 genes were differentially expressed in the muscle, while 57 genes were differentially expressed in the liver, and 314 genes were differentially expressed in adipose. A linoleic acid enriched diet had little effect on the skeletal muscle transcriptome but induced larger transcriptome changes in liver and adipose. This could suggest dietary linoleic acid increases insulin sensitivity through affecting metabolism in adipose and liver, rather than skeletal muscle. Determining these diet-induced transcriptome changes allows us to better target tissue-specific molecular mechanisms of linoleic acid in future research.

Abstract:
This paper presents an efficiency study for scalable microwave waste management. When waste with carbon content is subjected to volume power densities on the order of 0.25W/cm3 at GHz frequencies, it converts to solid coke fuel with oil and gas bi-products that can further be processed for fuel, leaving no trace. For an efficient process, a well-controlled uniform RF field should be maintained in a non-uniform and time-variable material. We are developing a 2.45-GHz active microwave cavity with solid-state (GaN) spatially power combined sources for lower volumes, Fig.1. In the energy balance calculations, the input energy into the system consists of the waste chemical energy and the DC electrical energy used to obtain the RF power with an efficiency that can reach 70% for kW power levels. The efficiency of RF power conversion to heat in the waste mass is calculated from full-wave simulations for typical waste mixtures and ranges from 10 to 90% depending on the material and cavity filling. The output energy estimates are collected from various pyrolysis process descriptions, e.g. [1], with the total energy being that of the solid fuel (35MJ/kg) and oil caloric values, e.g. 40MJ/kg for plastics and about 10-15MJ/kg for nonplastics [2]. A byproduct is flue gas which can be converted to Syngas [3]. The total worse-case carbon footprint balance (0.3-3) calculations will be presented. Fig. 1. Abstract:
This open file reports geochemical data for stream and groundwater samples collected around the Casino porphyry Cu-Au-Mo deposit, one of the largest and highest-grade deposits of its kind in Canada. The calc-alkaline porphyry is hosted in a Late Cretaceous quartz monzonite and associated breccias in the unglaciated region of west central Yukon. Water chemistry around the deposit was investigated because: (i) the deposit has not yet been disturbed by mining; (ii) the deposit was known to have metal-rich waters in local streams; and (iii) the deposit has atypically preserved ore zones. Stream water samples were collected at 22 sites and groundwater samples were collected from eight sites. Surface and groundwaters around the Casino deposit are anomalous with respect to Cd (up to 5.4 µg/L), Co (up to 64 µg/L), Cu (up to 1657 µg/L), Mo (up to 25 µg/L), As (up to 17 µg/L), Re (up to 0.7 µg/L), and Zn (up to 354 µg/L) concentrations. The stable isotopes of O and H of the groundwaters are essentially identical to the surface waters and plot close to the local and global meteoric water lines, indicating that the waters represent modern recharge, consistent with the generally low salinities of all the waters (total dissolved solids range from 98 to 1320 mg/L). Sulfur and Sr isotopes are consistent with proximal waters interacting with the Casino rocks and mineralization; a sulfide-rich bedrock sample from the deposit has delta-34S = -1.2 permille and proximal groundwaters are only slightly heavier (-0.3 to 3.1 permille). These geochemical and isotopic results indicate that surface water geochemistry is a suitable medium for mineral exploration for porphyry-style mineralization in the Yukon, and similar unglaciated regions in Canada. The atypical geochemical signature (Mo, Se, Re, As, Cu) of these types of deposits are typically reflected in the water chemistry and S isotopes provide a more local vectoring tool.

Abstract:
Stratigraphic and lithogeochemical data were collected from selected drill core from the Nugget Pond gold deposit in the Betts Cove area, Newfoundland. The stratigraphy consists of a lower unit of basaltic rocks that are massive to pillowed (Mount Misery Formation). This is overlain by sedimentary rocks of the Scrape Point Formation that consist of lower unit of turbiditic siltstone and hematitic cherts/iron formations (the Nugget Pond member); the unit locally has a volcaniclastic rich-unit at its base and grades upwards into finer grained volcaniclastic/turbiditic rocks. This is capped by basaltic rocks of the Scrape Point Formation that contain pillowed and massive mafic flows that are distinctively plagioclase porphyritic to glomeroporphyritic. The mafic rocks of the Mount Misery Formation have island arc tholeiitic affinities, whereas Scrape Point Formation mafic rocks have normal mid-ocean ridge (N-MORB) to backarc basin basalt (BABB) affinities. One sample of the latter formation has a calc-alkalic affinity. All of these geochemical features are consistent with results and conclusions from previous workers in the area. Clastic sedimentary rocks and Fe-rich sedimentary rocks of the Scrape Point Formation have features consistent with derivation from local, juvenile sources (i.e., intra-basinal mafic rocks). The Scrape Point Formation sedimentary rocks with the highest Fe/Al ratios, inferred to have greatest amount of hydrothermally derived Fe, have positive Ce anomalies on Post-Archean Australian Shale (PAAS)-normalized trace element plots. These features are consistent with having formed via hydrothermal venting into an anoxic/ sub-oxic water column. Further work is needed to test whether these redox features are a localized feature (i.e., restricted basin) or a widespread feature of the late Cambrian-early Ordovician Iapetus Ocean, as well as to delineate the role that these Fe-rich sedimentary rocks have played in the localization of gold mineralization within the Nugget Pond deposit.
