The eggs were singly laid in clusters of 2 to 3 and hatched in 2.50±0.51days and the viability of eggs were 83.26±5.88 per cent. The larval stage completed in 11.10±1.07 days. The pre-pupal, pupal stages and total life cycle of male and female lasted for 1.60, 2.70.47.0 and 20.15 and 21.50 days, respectively.

It was intended to investigate the biological activities of different solvent extracts of the fruiting bodies of Calocybe indica (P & C). The bioactive compounds were extracted using acetone, methanol, and hot water. The antioxidant activities of three different extracts at 0.5-20.0 mg/ml of C. indica on β-carotene-linoleic acid ranged from 65.83 - 92.56, 62.79 - 93.06 and 61.42 - 92.12%, respectively. The highest (2.825) reducing power inhibition was recorded in methanolic extract, while the lowest (2.332) was in hot water at the concentration of 8 mg/ml. The free radicle scavenging activ

The initial structural features and in vitro biological study of crude polysaccharides from Calocybe indica (CICP) extracted by hot water followed by ethanol precipitation was investigated. High-performance gel permeation chromatography, HPLC-DAD, UV, IR and NMR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and Congo red methods were used to determine structural features. The results revealed that CICP is a hetero-polysaccharide with a molecular weight of 9.371 × 104 Da and 2.457 × 103 Da which is composed of xylose, mannose, fucose, rhamnose, arabinose, galactose, and glucose

The Calocybe indica, commonly called the milky mushroom, originated in India and was known for its distinctive taste and health benefits. It was investigated for its potential to be cultivated in several substrate combinations from different agricultural wastes in the Philippines. The sampled substrates include rice straws, banana leaves, corn husks, and corn cobs. The rice hull served as the control substrate. The growth and yield performance of C. indica were assessed based on the rate of mycelial growth and colonization, duration of harvest time, number of fruiting bodies produced, the diam
