From camping prep to set up and favorite activities in the water or around the fire, recollections of family camping trips are etched in the memories of many students and grown up alike. Revisit some of these favorites or get ideas for new memories with the myriad problems in this collection. Math by the Month features collections of short activities focused on a monthly theme. These articles aim for an inquiry or problem-solving orientation that includes four activities each for grade bands K–2, 3–4, and 5–6.

In 1781 William Thomas Beckford (1760–1844) inherited a vast colonial fortune built on West Indian sugar and slavery. To mark the occasion, his guardians commissioned a cantata from Venanzio Rauzzini (with words by Girolamo Tonioli) and enlisted the renowned castrati Gasparo Pacchierotti and Giusto Ferdinando Tenducci to perform it. More than a simple panegyric, Il tributo was a thinly veiled attempt at “straightening out” the young man’s perceived effeminacy and his apathy over the business of empire, qualities that were all the more problematic in light of his white West Indian ancestry. Camping tourism is one of the fastest growing segments of the tourism industry. Global trends in camping show that this type of recreational activity has begun to emerge in Asia. Meeting the expectations of potential and current tourists in a camping destination will lead to the accomplishment of competitive advantage. The endurance involvement and place attachment play important roles in understanding camping behaviors. However, limited research identified place attachment as a moderator of the influence of endurance involvement on camping travel behavior. To fill this gap, based on place att

The number of camping cars is increasing owing to the increasing trend of “untact” healing brought about by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the spread of the camping culture. With an increase in the number of camping cars, camping car fires are concurrently on the rise. This study analyzes the fire statistics, fire cases, and regulatory status related to camping cars. As a preventive measure, the study proposes to establish safety standards, install safety facilities, and strengthen safety management measures that must be complied with during the manufacture of camping cars.

For many in Britain, the interwar period was a time of significant social, political and cultural anxiety. In the aftermath of the First World War, with British imperial power apparently waning, and with the politics of class becoming increasingly pressing, many came to perceive that traditional notions of British, and particularly English, identity were under challenge. The interwar years saw many cultural responses to the concerns these perceived challenges raised, as seen in H. V. Morton’s In Search of England (1927) and J. B. Priestley’s English Journey (1934). The aim is to analyze the problem and to propose appropriate solutions of this problem, respectively to remove the main causes that cause declining attendance. The basic pillar for understanding the internal and external environment is the detailed strategic analysis, which is then supplemented by methods used to solve problems (Ishikawa diagram, Brainstorming, TOPSIS). The output of the thesis is to suggest solutions that will help again increase the attendance of this subject.
