Cognitive radios have been proposed as a new technology to counteract the spectrum scarcity issue and increase the spectral efficiency. In cognitive radios, the sparse assigned frequency bands are opened to secondary users, provided that interference induced on the primary licensees is negligible. The efficient use of radio spectrum depends upon frequency assignment within a telecommunications network. The solution space of the frequency assignment problem is best described by the acyclic orientations of the network. An acyclic orientation Ɵ of a graph (network) G is an orientation of the edges of the graph which does not create any directed cycles. We are primarily interested in how many ways this is possible for a given graph, which is the count of the number of acyclic orientations, a(G). Abstract:
The capacity spectrum method is a very popular tool in the performance based earthquake resistant design of structures. Though it involves nonlinear static analysis, it can be used to predict the dynamic behaviour of the building under earthquake load. Since the analysis is only static and not dynamic, it is very well suited for the design offices and low end computer terminals as opposed to dynamic analysis which is very resource consuming. There are several methods/variations of methods, to perform the nonlinear static analysis, popularly known as pushover analysis and convert it to capaci

The design procedure always is pure frame. But have many brick wall fill in frame after finished. Are both factor arcade and brick wall building to collapse? Hence this study use capacity spectrum and SCM3D program to proceed by static pushover analysis. After pushover analysis, we can obtain capacity curve of building and to decided performance point by demand spectrum curve and damping. The performance point is actual response of

The vertical distribution of seismic force and capacity spectrum method adopted during pushover analysis will lead to significant impacts on the seismic capacity assessment results of buildings structure. Therefore, in this dissertation an in-depth investigation has been carried out with respect to the seismic force distribution and capacity-spectrum method for seismic capacity assessment of buildings str

First, based on the type of concrete structures and the seismic condition of construction sites, this study calculates and compares the minimum design seismic forces and relevant parameters under both the 2001 version seismic design codes and the latest revised draft cod
