At the end of 2022, there were several positive trends in the performance of the cardiology service. Thus, mortality from circulatory system diseases (CVD) in the Irkutsk region, according to Rosstat, decreased by 4.3% compared to 2021 and amounted to 676.3 per 100,000 population.
