During the postoperative period, cardiological complications occupy the first position regarding morbidity and mortality rates. They depend on various factors such as compromised cardiovascular history and type of surgical intervention, features and type of anesthesia, water balance and postoperative care of the patient. To prevent complications, one should reply two questions: is there a risk of cardiovascular complications in the perioperative period and how to avoid them.
