Artificial Neural Networks are biologically inspired computational methodologies that can perfom multifactorial analyses. In recent years, they have been evaluated for medical decision support, with varying degrees of success. My subsequent work involves training the network on a population-based cross-sectional dataset with the objective of categorizing Ankle-Brachial Index and Maximal Oxygen Consumption. Thes

Two important health issues that can develop during young adulthood are related to mental health (e.g., depression) and physical health (e.g., cardiovascular disease). Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate how PA and physical fitness were associated with biomarkers for depression and cardiovascular disease.
