Abstract:
The first two catalogues produced from test observations made with the Carlsberg Automatic Transit Circle (CATC) at the Copenhagen University Observatory in the period 1981/83 have internal mean errors of 0″.21 in right ascension and 0″.22 in declination. In 1983 the CATC was moved to the international Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos where it will begin a programme of differential and fundamental astrometry in 1984.

Abstract Background: Vitamin B12, or cobalamin (Cbl), is absorbed in the intestine and transported to the cells bound to transcobalamin (TC). We hypothesize that cyanocobalamin (CNCbl) is absorbed unchanged, thereby allowing measurement of the complex of CNCbl bound to TC (TC–CNCbl) to be used for studying the absorption of the vitamin. Methods: TC was immunoprecipitated from serum samples obtained from healthy donors at baseline and at 24 h after oral administration of three 9-μg CNCbl doses over 1 day. Cbl was released by treatment with subtilisin Carlsberg. The different forms of Cbl were i

AbstractStudent's exacting theory of errors, both random and real, marked a significant advance over ambiguous reports of plant life and fermentation asserted by chemists from Priestley and Lavoisier down to Pasteur and Johannsen, working at the Carlsberg Laboratory. One reason seems to be that William Sealy Gosset (1876–1937) aka “Student” – he of Student'st-table and test of statistical significance – rejected artificial rules about sample size, experimental design, and the level of significance, and took instead an economic approach to the logic of decisions made under uncertainty. The article presents the conceptualization of corporate reputation and its connection with related concepts of corporate identity and image. According to our research, the reputation is the result of established long-term collective judgments of stakeholders about the company, formed on the basis of its unique characteristics in order to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise. The purpose of the present research is to develop an analysis of the relationship between competitiveness and corporate reputation on the example of a brewing company in Ukraine. The aim of this diploma thesis is to explore the aspects of gushing in malt house Bernard. The main focus of the theoretical part is on a description of production of malt and beer, the history of gushing and an overview of current information about problematics of over foaming. The practical part is divided into free parts. In the first part I monitored a gushing potential of malt produced in 2015 and 2016 in the malt house Bernard. In the second part I dealt with a connection of particular technological parts of malt production and an evolution of gushing potential of intermediates day afte

In theoretical part of this diploma thesis "Study of beer gushing using malts from Bernard's malthouse" are introduced elemental theoretical information about barley, malting and beer making. Further description of fungi, which can infect barley, and their products - mycotoxins and hydrophobins, which can contaminate malt. Next chapter is about gushing in general, sortinting of gushing, principle and factors what influence him, also about possibillities of reduction and prediction.
