Synovial condromatosis, focus of cartilage which develops in synovial, bursa or tendon, is a sub-sinovial connective tissue metaplasia. Frequently seen in the knee (70%), male predominance (4 times higher), and old age. CT identifes intra-articular calcifcation fragments and extrinsic bone erosion.
