Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
This work aims, inspired by the Antonio Candido’s masterpiece, Formação da literatura brasileira: momentos decisivos, 1750-1880, to drawn an arc of urban popular song formation in Brazil, always considering the instances of author, audience and work of art as evidences of an urban song system. I´ve chose as landmarks, to investigate the existence and the power of these evidences, the works of four important songwriters, namely, Catulo da Paixão Cearense, Donga, Sinhô and Noel Rosa. For this, I´ve studied their contexts to comprehend how the authorship notion behaved in the popular song field, I´ve inquired about the ways of divulgation and technologies existents at that time to measure how much audience they could count for their creations and, by the Luiz Tatit’s analysis model and propositions, I´ve examined if the popular song language was stabilized and may be used how currency exchanged and bond between authors and audience.

Resumo: Nas primeiras linhas das Sátiras (I, I, 24) Horácio defende a artimanha do riso no laborioso ofício de dizer a verdade.
Abstract: In the Satires (I, I, 24), Horace defends the cunning of laughter on the laborious craft of saying the truth. The modus loquendi used in accordance with a predefined purpose was already recognized among ancient authors as a fruitful subject, once it is admitted that the success or failure of an orator could only be determined by his rhetorical ability. Humour has been constituted, since the post-socratic philosophers, as a powerful (and dangerous) instrument capable of potentializing the effects of an outstanding speech or demoralizing decisively the one who does not make dexterous and parsimonious use of all the inexhaustible resources offered by the method of laughter. Thus, there is a proliferation of reflections on the utility of laughter that intend to clarify the nature of that which releases it, besides regulating the deployment of the laughable, taking into consideration strongly demarcated criteria. It is within this context that the De risu is inserted, the third chapter of the sixth book of Quintilian's Institutio oratoria - the most extensive amongst the five chapters of the book. Through the translation of the De risu, we seek to highlight the specificities of this ?treatise of convenient use of humor? in its dialogue with rhetorical and poetical ancient tradition, observing Quintilian's perception about the subject at the light of authors explicitly mentioned therein - namely: Cicero, Catullus and Horace - in the works most often alluded in the De risu (De Oratore II, Carmina Catulli, Sermones)

Abstract:
Assuming the premise that the most efficient way of approaching the work of a certain poet is to determine the key points of his poetry, made explicit by his own words, either in prefaces or in metalinguistic poems (which we shall call \"metapoems\"), the objective of this study is, from the vast production of the poet Martial (c.40 - 105 AD), to select, translate, annotate and comment analytically the corpus of \"metapoems\" that explains Martials concept of epigram - the genre this poet practices - in terms of invention, style and disposition.

Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the influence of addition of Sida hermaphrodita silage into cattle forage on efficiency of methane fermentation of cattle manure. Efficiency of methane fermentation connected with amount and composition of produced biogas was determined with respirometric tests. Methane fermentation was performed in mesophilic conditions with initial organic compounds loading of 5 g VS/(dm3∙d). The study was divided into two stages. In first stage, substrate in methane fermentation was only cattle manure. In second stage, substrate in methane fermentation was cattle manure and Sida silage. There were three series of experiments in each stage, due to cattle manure was obtained from cattle fed with forage differ in contribution of Sida silage (0 – series 1, 17% - series 2, 34% - series 3). In the stage 1, biogas production of 223±15 L/kg VS, 247±8.5 L/kg VS and 231±18 L/kg VS was noted in the series 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The addition of Sida silage to the cattle forage had no impact on biogas potential of cattle manure. In the stage 2, the same tendency was observed. No differences in biogas composition between series were also observed. Methane content in biogas was about 60%.
