Full textShoshana felman has shown the existence of a constitutive link between literature and madness, a relationship which can implicate an ideological orientation. An autofiction which claims to be a praxis of madness, celine's works are a perfect example of her theory. From the critical point of view, the notion of madness refers to a repression of the ideological orientation of celine's works. By another way, the writer himself has not avoided --either by rejecting or by accepting-- aplay on the madness ideology double approach to the literary text. In other words, pathographic reading of celine's works would be inseparable from a process of repression of the basic ideological orientation of his works; the result of the "psy" alibi would be to avoid the critical problem established by political content. In the same way, the manner by which celine accepts (in the post--war interviews) or rejects (in bagatelles pour un massacre) any possibility of a pathological approach to his works is inseparable from an ideological intention, leading to a new questioning of the worth and the ideological weight of a style which claims to value the perceivable over the intelligible and feelings rather than words

Full textThree growth conditions, in vitro, in greenhouse and in vineyards, were used to produce control plants and plants infected with Eutypa lata. Each sample was characterised by the symptom notation, the re-isolation of the fungus located in the lignified parts, and the formal identification of Eutypa lata mycelium by PCR. The characterisation led to the identification of three types of plants: infected and showing symptoms (S+R+), infected and showing no symptoms (S-R+) and healthy (S-R-). Microarray analysis on leaf samples from these plants enabled the following of the transcriptomic expression of 15000 grapevine genes. The comparison between S+R+ and S-R- plants showed that 44% of the genes differentially expressed and common to at least two of the three growth conditions are known to be involved in plant/fungus interaction and that 21% of the over-expressed genes in the plants S+R+ are involved in defense functions. The comparison between S-R+ and S-R- plants, in greenhouse and in vineyards, enabled to identify 17 genes potentially useful for the development of of an early and non-destructive diagnosis tool. The combined analysis of microarray data obtained for the comparisons S+R+/S-R-, S-R+/S-R-, and S+R+/S-R+, in greenhouse and/or in vineyard, led to the identification of genes that may be more specifically associated with the response to infection, or with the absence or presence of symptoms. The expression profiles of several candidate genes were confirmed by RT-PCR and completed by the analyses of leaves from grapevines infected with other fungal pathogens

Full textIn celine's work death represents a central source out of which a certain number of thematic systems start, interfering with one another. The systems are generally bivalent and will lead us now to an ominous shape of death now to a fairy-like one, most of the time to both at once. Whereas hatred and the different aspects of the matter incline towards a morbid side (in the first two parts), the study of locations and characters (in the third and fourth parts) shows they can have a double personality, that is particularly true for the woman, both siring death and life (fith part). Murderous strengths explode with apocalypse, but it is already the way to resurrection (sixth part) which can transfer us to the other world, the " outre-la ", as well as delirium (seventh part). A door is opened then to the enchantment of death (eighth part) - celine's writing is one of the keys of, thanks to the proceeding of " trans- position " which creates " emotion " (ninth part). Thus is painted the face of death in celine's work : a crossing of the horrors of reality to a fairy-like resurrection

Full textThis thesis studies the fonctionning, sources and implications, of the "fantastic" narration in the works of louis-ferdinand celine. Successively treated are also the influence of the esoteric, an experience which most likely dates back to the period between 1910 and 1920, and his contact with certain literary theories of the 1920's, in particular the fantastique social of pierre mac orlan. The central part of this thesis consists in a textual analysis of passages where the celinian narration systematically directs the romanesque text towards the fantastic narration. This is followed by a thematic study of the celinian fantastic which replaces, one by one one or by groups, the elements of celinian fiction in their relation to irrealism

Full textThe french writer louis-ferdinand celine (1894-1962) 's reputation is to a large extent based upon 3 works well know under the name of "pamphlets". These works are : "bagatelles pour un massacre" (1937), "l'ecole des cadavres" (1938), "les beaux draps" (1941). The "celinian" satirical works sum up the decadence of the period when they were published and point out to the persons reponsible for this decadence : the jews. They are prawded with a scathing antisemitism. This antisemitism uses a specific vocabulary which entails prope nouns, substantives, adjectives, verbs and expressions which amounts to 76 various terms. Among these 76 words, some of them belong to the lisked vocabulary of the lexical set of antisemitism ("youpin", "youtre ", "juiverie"), others are part of the blurred area of the vocabulary - agreat nmber being neologisms (ex : "youtriscade", a name given to the universal exhibition of 1937, "youpignolle", a name given to the coming second world war, etc. ) these 76 words are connected with three lexical sets : words referring to human beings (ex : "youpin"), the non-animate objects (ex "youtrin") and the abstract nouns (ex : "enjuivage"). They are used within 3 different contexts, each context being divised into spheres : - the ontological backcloth (related to what the jews are) connected with "physiological" "moral" "irrational" - the factual blackcloth (related to what the jews do) linked with the "political" "social-financial" "cultural-artistic - the intention al background (related to what the jews want) connectedd with the concepts "instigation of the future war" "will to control the world
