Abstract:
Cementoblastoma is characterized by the formation of cementum-like tissue attached to the root of a tooth. It is a benign neoplasm with odontogenic mesenchymal origin, and is considered the only true neoplasm of cemental origin. Cementoblastomas are usually located in the mandible, the majority of which affect the permanent first molar. There is no distinct gender preference and the mean age of occurrence is approximately 20 years of age. The lesion is usually identified as well defined, radiopaque, delimited by a cortical border, and with a well-defined radiolucent band just inside this corti

Abstract:
Cementoblastomas are rare benign tumours that represent less than 1% of all odontogenic tumours. Complete resection is mandatory to avoid recurrence. This case report describes the contribution of three-dimensional imaging and three-dimensional printing in the pre-operative surgical planning of a large cementoblastoma that not only caused substantial compression on the inferior alveolar and mental nerves, but also caused thinning and partial erosion of the lingual and vestibular cortical bone, thus increasing the risk of pre-operative mandibular fracture.

Abstract:
Cementoblastoma is a rare benign odontogenic neoplasm which is characterized by the proliferation of cellular cementum. Diagnosis of cementoblastoma is challenging because of its protracted clinical, radiographic features, and bland histological appearance; most often cementoblastoma is often confused with other cementum and bone originated lesions. The aim of this article is to overview/revisit, approach the diagnosis of cementoblastoma, and also present a unique radiographic appearance of a cementoblastoma lesion associated with an impacted tooth.

Abstract:
Introduction. Cementoblastoma is an uncommon tumor of the jaws that originates from odontogenic ectomesenchyme, characterized by proliferating cementum-like tissue. Case outline. We present the case of a cementoblastoma in the mandible with atypical radiographic image: no well-defined borders and no radiolucent rim. Apart from that, taking into account data from the literature review, different clinicopathological, and radiographic presentations of tumors and lesions that may resemble cementoblastoma are discussed. Conclusion. Cementoblastoma must be removed as soon as possible, together with

Cementum is a mineralized tissue that covers the surface of the tooth root and has many similarities with bone tissue. Cementum is essential for periodontal tissue regeneration, however details on the proliferation and differentiation of its cell type, cementoblasts, are still unclear. The aim of this study was to isolate and characterize cementoblasts derivedfrom rat teeth and to evaluate the response of these cells to the ionic products from the dissolution of bioactive glass with 60% silica. In this study it was hypothesized that an embryonic gene called F-Spondin is a possible marker of ce
