Vis didesnis susirūpinimas visuomenės sveikata kyla dėl naujų bakterijų padermių, atsparių antimikrobinėms medžiagoms, atsiradimo ir plitimo visame pasaulyje. Šiuo metu dažniau ieškoma naujų alternatyvų, įskaitant natūralius vaistažolių arba augalinės kilmės ekstraktus, turinčius antibakterinių savybių. Vienas nuo seno liaudies medicinoje naudojamas augalas naikinti infekcijas yra siauralapis gaurometis (Chamerion angustifolium). Siauralapis gaurometis turi uždegimo slopinamųjų savybių, gali gerinti virškinimą, tinka gydyti mažakraujystę. Tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti Chamerion angustifolium an

Plant–plant interactions may increase or reduce the impact of abiotic stress on species' distributions, depending on the balance between competition and facilitation. We report on the role of a willow ( Salix ) shrub canopy in mediating the importance of drought stress for performance at seedling and adult life stages of the herbaceous wildflower, Chamerion angustifolium L. (fireweed). Willows form the vegetative boundary (krummholz) between subalpine and alpine life zones in the Rocky Mountains. Summary Introduction: Chamerion angustifolium (L.) Holub (syn. Epilobium angustifolium L.) plants have been used in the treatment and alleviating symptoms of mild Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Plants are abundant in polyphenols, particularly ellagitannins, phenolic acids and flavonoids. Apart from polyphenols, herb of this species also contains steroids, triterpenes and fatty acids. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the content of campesterol, β-sitosterol and stigmasterol in C. angustifolium genotypes cultivated in vitro. The highest fluorine content was recorded at the distance of 3 km from the smelter: 433 mg / kg of dry weight in C. angustifolium, 306 mg / kg in T. vulgare. According to the level of accumulation of fluorine, the organs of C. angustifolium were arranged in the following order (as the concentration decreases): leaves> roots> stems ≥ flowers, for T. vulgare the

Forest land reclamation after oil sands mining requires the re-establishment of self-sustaining boreal forest ecosystems consisting of native forest plant species. This greenhouse study examined germination, growth, and nutrient uptake of fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium (L.) Holub), a circumpolar species common to the boreal forest. Fireweed was grown on a variety of reclamation soil types that varied widely in nitrogen and phosphorus contents and which were subsequently amended with different fertilizer formulations. Chamaenerion angustifolium L. widely known as fireweed, has significant natural resources in Ukraine. It has long been used in folk medicine as a sedative, analgesic, astringent, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antisclerotic, wound healing, and diaphoretic agent. These properties are the result of the availability of many groups of biologically active compounds such as flavonoids, hydroxycinnamic acids, tannins, ascorbic acid, polyphenols, macro- and microelements. This paper presents materials on the ecology and faunistic composition of four species of Hymenoptera: Urocerus gigas L., 1758; Vespula vulgaris L., 1758; Bombus polaris Curtis, 1835; Bombus hyperboreus Schonherr, 1809. Their number was calculated for 20172019, data on population density, seasonal activity and forage plants of Hymenoptera adults in the tundra and forest-tundra of Yenisei Siberia are presented. As a result of calculating in both natural conditions, numerous species are true wasps and bumblebees and the large horntail is a rare species and was recorded only in the forest-tundra.
