Abstract:
The purpose of the thesis is to make a contribution to the development of an empirically informed theory of identity work in organisations on the basis of a gestalt paradigm. Since its emergence almost three quarters of a century ago, gestalt has been applied to therapy, personal development, leadership education and organisational consulting. Gestalt remains, however, fundamentally a paradigm, which preferentially projects onto and deals with complex and dynamic organisational phenomena at individual, dyadic or small group levels. It can be argued that, with its focus on phenomenology and awa

Abstract:
This thesis is concerned with theorising educational change. This involves the identification of a distinct theoretical object; the conceptualisation of a dynamic of educational change and the delimitation of the fundamental units of analysis. Together, these provide the basis for the development in Part One of the thesis of a content-theoretical model. Working within a Marxist Reproduction problematic, power and domination are theorised in terms of Social Forms - wage, state and civil-forms - which are the product of the social relations of production within the Capitalist Mode of Production.

Abstract:
This is a study of Margo Kane’s creative work – Memories Springing/Waters Singing, Moonlodge and Confessions of an Indian Cowboy – as well as her Vancouver-based community work – Full Circle First Nations Performance Company and their annual Talking Stick Festival. I examine how Kane’s creative and community work can be understood in terms of postcolonial theory of performance while also further illuminating that theory. I apply Emmanuel Levinas’ philosophical concepts of Totality and Infinity and the Saying and the Said to the content of her creative work as well as its publication. I use Édo

This study used a descriptive phenomenological approach to gather information about

For this, current theoretical perspectives are divided into the following five categories ; labour process, efficiency bias, social action, the institutionalist, and political economy. Each perspective has its own merits and, in fact, to obtain a balanced view of events in the plant in terms of the key issues, all five theoretical perspectives will be used to construct the analysis.
