Employing disaggregated data for 2001–2016, this study investigates the lending and loan pricing behaviour of state-owned and domestic private banks in response to monetary policy. Three major findings emerge. First, although both the interest rate and the bank lending channels are relevant for monetary pass-through, there is a trade-off: the impact of the former is much higher than the latter, although it occurs with a significant lag. Second, domestic private banks have a far greater response to a monetary policy shock under the interest rate channel, whereas state-owned banks display a grea

The classical potassium-selective ion channel blocker tetraethylammonium ion (TEA) was shown to block chloride-selective ion channels from excised surface membranes of acutely dissociated rat cortical neurons when applied to the formerly intracellular membrane surface. The patch voltage clamp method was used to record single channel currents from fast Cl channels in the presence of TEAi. At the filtering cut-off frequencies used (3-12.4 kHz, -3 dB) the TEAi-induced block appeared as a reduction in single channel current amplitude, which was interpreted as the result of extremely fast on the of

3D Vertical Nanotube Field Effect Transistors (NTFETs) with various channel materials are analysed for 5nm gate length (LG) in this research work. The DC and RF studies are performed on NTFET devices with Silicon, Gallium Nitride (GaN), and SiliconGermanium (SiGe) as channel materials. The impact of variation of channel length, channel thickness, and temperature analysis on these devices have been studied. The ION/IOFF ratio of Si-NTFET, GaN-NTFET and SiGe-NTFET are found to be 2.7×108^ , 1.08×10^9 , 1.69×10^8 respectively. GaN channel NTFET exhibits the lowest subthreshold swing (SS) of 33.1m

If the dispersion characteristics of coal‐seam channel guides do not extend smoothly at frequencies below cut‐off, the number of parameters required to process inseam seismic data increases. Unwanted modes become more difficult to suppress, the arriving pulses from targets become more difficult both to identify and to pulse compress. The connection between leaking and normal channel mode dispersion is established here by first synthesizing and then analyzing theoretical in‐seam seismograms. Calculation of synthetic seismograms is based on numerical evaluation of the spatial Fourier integral fo

Abstract Palembang is a lowland which is dominated by swamp areas.. The problem of flooding in this area stems from a drainage network system that is almost cut off, causing high rainfall and water not flowing properly into the river. This study aims to analyze the drainage network system’s performance based on the channel’s capacity to the channel’s condition in analyzing the hydrology using the probability distribution method. The frequency suitability test was carried out using Smirnov-Kolmogorov and Chi-Square. The results showed that the rainfall was 116.74 mm/hour and the design flood di

Abstract:
This article is an attempt to define the conditions and mechanism of meanders formation based on the analysis of multi-temporal maps and satellite images. It is noted that the formation of such meanders is due to the characteristics of the circulation of the river flow on a steep (90°) bend of the river with one relatively stable wing – a straight channel insert and an actively deformable other wing. This insert can be formed close to the native bank of a river or after cut-off channel. To describe skewed meanders it is proposed to use the parameter α * – the angle of the skew.

Concern has been expressed regarding the impacts of climate change on river ice and ice jam formation in cold regions. Ice jams are easily initiated in bends and narrow channels and cause disasters. In this study, observations and remote sensing monitoring are used to study the freeze-up ice jam formation of bends. Sediment transport and freezing process of the river interact, influencing bed changes profile and sedimentary budget. River ice processes, channel evolution, ice hydro-thermodynamics, and ice jam accumulation are explored. The results show that the channel topography determines the

The paper presents the description of main channel types of braided rivers distinguished in the channel pattern classification produced in the Moscow State University. It is shown that the diversity of braided channels is determined by various conditions of their formation, different degree of channel stability and other factors. This diversity is defined by the number, size and shape of islands, formation of islands in channel arms, composing bifurcations of the 2nd and 3rd orders, presence of floodplain branches (floodplain multi-channel), symmetry or asymmetry of braided reaches themselves,

In this paper, based on the detailed analysis of the channel impulse response (CIR) leakage in the LTE-A uplink system, a novel discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-based channel estimation algorithm is proposed. This algorithm estimates the average noise power in frequency domain to get a noise threshold, which is then used in time domain to eliminate the noise by DFT and reduce the spectrum leakage.
