The anti-friction properties of the plasma-sprayed powder coating based on copper PG-19M-01, proposed instead of the cast bronze sleeve made of 05Ts5S5 bronze, used in the coupling of the drive shaft and gear of the T-155 transfer case pumps, were proposed and investigated in the paper. X-ray phase analysis of plasma coatings from PG-19M-01 powder showed that the main phase in the coatings is a solid solution of aluminum in copper. Situated between mainland and island-defined archaeological entities, Attica has traditionally been treated as a transitional borderland between what is perceived as ‘Helladic’ versus ‘Cycladic’ culture. Most discussions of social and cultural interactions in the southern Aegean have so far assumed a peripheral role for Attica during the Final Neolithic (41 00-31 00 BC) and the Early Bronze Age (3100- 2000 BC). This is mainly an accident of investigation, due to the lack of systematic research focusing on the stylistic character of FN-EBA material culture excavated at sites within this region.

Abstract:
Power semiconductor devices such as MOSFET/IGBT and PiN diodes are widely used as basic components for supporting infrastructure in the field of electronics, including in power conversion, industrial equipment, railways, and automobiles. Recently, increasing attention has been paid to silicon carbide (SiC) as a wide-band-gap semiconductor suitable for use in power devices with low loss and high breakdown voltage. However, basic knowledge of the material properties and reliability of SiC devices, and particularly the influence of mechanical stress on device characteristics, is still incomplete.

Abstract:
With the current development in additive manufacturing (AM) processes, such as Laser directed energy deposition (L-DED), efficient usage of raw materials is possible. With the aid of this L-DED process, we aim to develop an efficient way to reduce the use of bronze in worm gears. Our objective is to fabricate worm gears by applying CuSn10 (bronze) alloy onto a stainless steel tooth created through the L-PBF process. We assess the impact of laser power, feed rate, scanning speed, and scanning strategy on the deposition process. The deposited cross-sections undergo analysis for porosity, hardnes

The original objective of this research was to investigate means of controlling materials ingested into compressors in pipeline, refinery, gathering, and storage services. After an initial industry survey, it was determined that "Black Powder" (various forms of iron sulfide mixed with contaminants) is the least understood and most prominent contamination problem in pipelines and their compression equipment. The information documented in this report was gathered from technical literature, the Internet, researchers, experts, practitioners in the natural gas industry, field experience, and equipm

Abstract:
The objective of this project is to provide information about a problem material found in gas pipelines called "black powder". It is a mixture or a chemical compound of iron sulfides, iron oxides, dirt, sand, salts, chlorides, water, glycols, hydrocarbons and compressor oils, mill scale, or other materials. The most common constituents, iron compounds of sulfur or oxygen, are corrosion products. In addition to chemical formation, black powder can be formed by microbes normally found in gas pipelines. This material causes machinery, measurement, and pipeline maintenance problems. This research

Abstract:
The project objective was to more fully understand how the motion of pollen grains may be controlled by electrostatic forces, and to develop a reliable mechanized pollination system based upon sound electrostatic and aerodynamic principles. Theoretical and experimental analyses and computer simulation methods which investigated electrostatic aspects of natural pollen transfer by insects found that: a) actively flying honeybees accumulate ~ 23 pC average charge (93 pC max.) which elevates their bodies to ~ 47 V likely by triboelectrification, inducing ~ 10 fC of opposite charge onto nearby poll
