In the present work we have studied the effects of the cadherin CAR sequence HAV-containing hexapeptide AHAVSE on osteoclasts. Apoptosis was induced in two human leukaemic cell lines, U937 and HL-60, by incubation with a diverse array of chemical agents. It was demonstrated that apoptosis involved the formation of large kilobase pair DNA fragments (20-50, 145-245 and 580 kilobase pairs) prior to, or accompanying, internucleosomal cleavage. Degradation of DNA to large kilobase pair sizes also occurred in some forms of necrosis. These fragments were similar, but

In hot climatic conditions, the operating temperature can reach as high as 85°C for the rooftop modules. Considering a typical power drop of 0.5%/°C for crystalline silicon modules, a performance decrease of approximately 30% could be expected during peak summer seasons due to the difference between module rated temperature of 25°C and operating temperature of 85°C. Therefore, it is critical to accurately predict the temperature of the modules so the performance can be accurately predicted. The

Recently, there is an increase in AF prevalence in patients afflicted with more advance CHF. The pulmonary veins (PVs) are an important source of ectopic beats, initiating frequent paroxysms of AF. These foci respond to treatment with radio-frequency ablation. Previous studies in multiple cells or single cell from dogs and rabbits have shown that PVs contain cardiomyocytes with or without

碩士
逢甲大學
電機工程所
99
This paper presents a portable mixer-power-supply with using PV Solar cell and Lithium Ion battery. This mixer power supply not only can supply the power to the load, also can charge the Li-ion battery without using wall power. This mixer power supply system is including the PV Solar cell output terminal, Li-ion battery charging terminal and buck converter. Whole system is referenced the paper [2] which come from IEEE. The buck converter is using the switching buck regulator IC LM2576. In this system, it will detect the PV solar cell voltage and the Li-Ion ba
