Intensity of axial turbulence at the nozzle exit and impingement heat transfer rate were measured for the re-entry slot channel nozzle, with nozzle length, L, nozzle width, w, and jet Reynolds number, Re, as parameters. With increasing Reynolds number over the range 5000-20000 the turbulence intensity decreases, but only slightly. For the shortest nozzles, i.e. orifices, turbulence varies greatly across the nozzle width, from 0% near the nozzle walls. A nozzle length of 3w-4w is sufficient to produce relatively flat profiles. Newcastle disease virus (NDV), an avian paramyxovirus, enters the host cell by fusion of viral and host cell membranes. The fusion of two membranes is mediated by the viral fusion (F) protein. The F protein, like other class I fusion proteins, is thought to undergo major conformational changes during the fusion process. The purpose of this study was to determine if persons with a history of chemical dependency have personality traits that differ from a norm group and to determine if personality traits are associated with the perceived level of recovery facilitation. Thirty-one subjects volunteered to fill out the research instruments (16 Personality Factor Questionnaire and a Self-Rated Perceived Level of Recovery Facilitation Scale). The results indicated that persons with a history of substance abuse are significantly more cool, shrewd, dominant, and undisciplined in self conflict, than the norm population.

Applications of the EFP method to biologically relevant systems are provided on a benchmark EFP-SAPT-CCSD study on the SSI dataset along with suggested basis set recommendations and a study on the pairwise EFP total energy decomposition on Factor Xa. We also report the technical overview of two computational tools we believe will lower the human barrier to utilizing the EFP method - iSpiEFP and EFPdB.</p>
