Full textBefore undertaking the search for the other, it is necessary to travel to the farthest depths of oneself. The works of three so-called "black" women toni morrison, african-american, maryse conde, west indian, and mariama ba, african will help the researcher to reach the other shore and to come back to himself, but transformed by the experience, like saint paul on the road to damascus. For what is called american literature would not exist without the presence of black people, as toni morrison asserts, and without this author's works, the quest for the other in the west indies and in africa would not take place. These three women, as novelists, will have accomplished such a search. As for their characters, very few will manage to overcome obstacles and embrace the "other" element in themselves and find their mirror image reflected in the stranger. Those who finally build a bridge with the other will succeed in doing so in their own community or within their racial cultural group, which is already a step forward
Renault, Annaig. "Le chemin d'humanité de Maodez Glanndour dans Komzou bev." Rennes 2, 2002. http://www.theses.fr/2002REN20011.
Full text@Breton-language writer Maodez Glanndour, who died in 1986, left a large body of work. However, his poetry is most characteristic of his humanity, and Komzoù bev (Living words) is the chief focus of this dissertation. Feiz ha Breiz (Faith and Brittany) was his motto, and under this title the first chapter explores his concept of Brittany, while the second examines the God he sought. Finally, it will be seen how theses aspects of his quest enabled him to embark on a voyage towards his own self in the course of an 'Imram" (Navigation). This began in 1936 with the writing of the poem of the same title, which was to make him famous. The Breton language and poetry formed the base of the most authentic of his works, which made it possible for him to distance himself from a number of occasionally dubious articles. The dual nature of this writer cannot, and should not, conceal the quality of this literary opus

Full textThe author presents the results of research carried out in the Vosges area of eastern France, within the framework of a research unit of the INRA research department on agrarian systems and development (Versailles). The study deals with the cantons of Neufchâteau, Coussey, Bulgneville and Chatenois. The objective is to detect the local determinants responsible for the diversity of agricultural situations analyzed at different spatial levels (from farm fields to groups of villages) during seven research operations (1975-1987), in particular the follow up of the states' general of agricultural development. The work promotes a localist point of view which is set here against "delocalizing" theories in agronomy, rural economy and sociology, in order to investigate the articulation between farm development and village development using the concept of "local technical referential", of technical profile and of village trajectory. The major results are methodological. Three converging approaches are privileged: the systematic consideration of the representations local actors have of their territory; the articulation of social networks with the territory; the sociotechnical analysis of farming activity, which requires that sociologists work closely with agronomists on common objects (e. G. The fields)

Full textHistory of architecture in brazil is divided in three periods which correspond to the political periods of its history: colonial architecture, when predominated the baroque spirit of Portuguese origin; imperial architecture, which corresponds to the penetration of French classical spirit, and republican architecture which corresponds to modern period, first the new spirit, as it was defined by le Corbusier, until the incarnation of a brazilian spirit, in the forties in the xxth century. The way to the renovation of architecture in brazil, from the baroque of colonial temes until the creation of a brazilian architecture, is principaly structured in the work of three architects Grandjean de Montigny, Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer. The procedure of changing of cultures in brazil, that is, the changing from portuguese culture into french culture is the consequence of three main influences: first of all from the ecole des beaux-arts of Paris, secondly from positivist philosophie of Auguste Comte, and thirdly from the spirit philosophy of Allan kardec. By the union of these influence a new architecture was born, typicaly brazilian, bases on principles of freedom. .

Full textThe present research is framed in the Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl, and aims to analyse the essence of phantasy considered as an intentional experience. In what sense can it be sustained that phantasy, generally associated with freedom and creation, is indeed productive? It should be noted that the question of phantasy appears among the issues that contributed to the consolidation of the thematic agenda of nascent phenomenology. However, Husserl’s definition of phantasy, which is attained in1904/05, does not take into account its free and productive aspect, but rather regards it in a re-productive way. To arrive at a broader, yet precise, definition of the morphological essence of phantasy, without leaving Husserl’s phenomenology, the following objectives are pursued. Firs, I present the possible explanations of phantasy that Husserl puts to the test (among which those of Brentano and Twardowski must be highlighted) as well as the reasons why he rejects them. Second, I explain how the analyses of the internal time consciousness and memory led to the canonical definition of phantasy as a neutrality modification applied to memory. A critique of this definition is subsequently established. Finally, I propose that those difficulties may be overcome by considering other elements of Husserl’s phenomenology, such as the functions that phantasy fulfills, for instance in the intuition of essences, in the experience of others and in the aesthetic experience i.a., where phantasy operates by the producing of analogues which have a “harmonizing” effect on experience
