Three species of Myriapoda new for metropolitan France. Two species of diplopods, Cylindroiulus britannicus (Verhoeff, 1891) (Diplopoda: Julida) and Amphitomeus attemsi (Schubart, 1934) (Diplopoda: Polydesmida) and one of chilopod, Tygarrup javanicus Attems, 1907 (Chilopoda: Geophilomorpha), have recently been discovered in metropolitan France. A detailed description of the localities is made. Identification clues are also given. The number of Diplopod species for metropolitan France increases to 311 species and that of Chilopods to 152 species.

The checklist includes 27 species of 13 genera, 8 families, and 4 orders. Eight species are known from a single locality and/or only from specimens of a single sex. The history of studies of Chilopoda fauna from Iraq is provided; some faunistic records are critically revised.

An unexpected species in the underground galleries of the city of Lyon: Eupolybothrus imperialis (Meinert, 1872) (Chilopoda, Lithobiomorpha, Lithobiidae). The troglophilous chilopod Eupolybothrus imperialis (Meinert, 1872), know from Italy and Corsica, is found in the underground networks of the city of Lyon, in two distinct galleries. This is the first observation of this centipede in continental France. The conditions of the discovery and the description of the specimens are provided. We determined the complete mitochondrial genome of Thereuopoda clunifera (Chilopoda: Scutigeridae) to clarify the phylogenetic status within Chilopoda. Using Sanger sequencing and next-generation sequencing technologies, the entire mitogenome of T. clunifera was assembled and annotated, with 14,898 bp in length and 37 genes (13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and two ribosomal RNA genes), which are usually found in arthropod mitogenomes. Only one D-loop contained no repeat element. The base composition of T. clunifera was found to be A + T content of 69.55% and G + C content of 30

A review is given of all the literature records of millipedes and centipedes that have been found in German greenhouses together with additional records for 29 such sites. Species lists are given for 46 greenhouses investigated throughout Germany. Thirty-five diplopod and 18 chilopod species were found to occur in greenhouses, of which 15 (3 Chilopoda, 12 Diplopoda) are restricted to this type of habitat. Despite this, information about the composition and function of their venom contents is scarce. In this study we have used a bottom-up proteomic approach combining 2D-LC, ESI-Q-TOF/MS, N-terminal sequencing and similarity searching to better understand the complexities of the venoms from two Brazilian centipede species: Scolopendra viridicornis nigra and Scolopendra angulata.
