This thesis examines the city of Rome as a primary context of British sociability and portrait identity during the period from 1740 to 1830. Part I considers the work of the portrait painter Pompeo Batoni. It examines the pictorial record of grand tourist sociability at Rome in the 1750s, questioning the complex articulation of nationality among British visitors, and the introduction of overt references to antiquity in the portraiture of Pompeo Batoni. It subsequently interrogates Batoni's use of the partially nude Vatican Ariadne sculpture in five portraits of male grand tourists, dating from Charles John Crowle in 1762, to Thomas William Coke in 1774. Part II of this thesis considers the realities of viewing the sculpted body at Rome, recreating the studios of sculptors Christopher Hewetson and Antonio Canova. It postis the studio space as a locus of sociability for British visitors to Rome, drawing on the feminine gaze in the form of the early nineteenth-century writings of Charlotte Eaton and Lady Murray. The final chapter moves from the focus on British sitters to examine sculpture by Antonio Canova, framing it within a wider discourse of masculinity and propriety. Thte reception of Canova's nude portrait sculpture of Napoleon Bonaparte and Pauline Borghese is considered as indicative of cultural anxieties stemming from new conceptions of gender.

O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar doses de lodo de esgoto e o efeito residual na produção e qualidade de tapetes de grama esmeralda bem como as alterações químicas desse solo. Os experimentos foram instalados e conduzidos em uma propriedade de grama, localizada na cidade de Itapetininga - SP. A cultura utilizada foi a grama Zoysia japonica Steud. conhecida como grama esmeralda. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso em parcelas subdivididas, com quatro repetições, sendo as parcelas principais constituídas por dois sistemas de manejo (com e sem o uso de um escarificador superficial “estrelinha”, utilizado para romper uma camada superficial compactada). e as subparcelas de cinco doses de lodo (0, 10, 20, 30 e 40 Mg ha-1, base seca), mais um tratamento com adubação química, de acordo com as necessidades da cultura. Utilizou-se o lodo da Estação de Tratamento de Esgoto de Jundiaí. As doses de lodo aplicadas correspondem às doses de 100, 200, 300 e 400 kg ha-1 de nitrogênio. Após a colheita dos tapetes, avaliou-se o efeito residual das doses de lodo e dos sistemas de manejo utilizados. Pode-se concluir que aos 165 dias após a aplicação do lodo de esgoto, a dose de 31 Mg ha-1 permitiu a formação completa do tapete de grama (100% da taxa de cobertura do solo). Com a utilização do escarificador...<br>The final disposal of municipal waste in the ground is not only an appropriate system, but also the opportunity for management of those with the least possible effect on the environment and can generate chemical and physical benefits to the soil. The present study aimed to evaluate the sewage sludge doses and its residual effects in the zoysiagrass sod production system and also the chemical changes in the soil. The experiment was carried out in a grass grower property, located in the city of Itapetininga-SP. The turfgrass used was Zoysia japonica Steud. known as esmeralda. The experimental design adopted was randomized blocks with split plot design, with four replications, the main plots consisting of two management systems (with and without chisel use, to break a compacted surface layer) and subplots consisting of five doses of sludge (0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 Mg ha-1, a dry basis), another treatment with chemical fertilization, according to the requirement of the culture. The sludge used came from “Estação de Tratamento de Esgoto de Jundiaí”. The doses of sludge applied correspond to the doses of 100, 200, 300 and 400 kg ha-1 of nitrogen. After sod harvesting it was evaluated the residual effect of the sludge doses and evaluated the management system used. It can be concluded that 165 days after application of sewage sludge the dose of 31 Mg ha-1 allowed the complete closing of the zoysiagrass sod (100% of soil cover rate). The same results were found when used chemical fertilization. The control and the plots that received 10 Mg ha-1 of sludge did not formed sod. There was a reduction in weight of zoysiagrass sod with increasing doses of sludge applied. With the use of surface chisel, there was a decrease in the strength of zoysiagrass sod. The use of techniques aiming soil decompression have been increasing year after year in a planet where food demand is greater every day. In this sense, Brazil have been standing out as one of the main producers in order to meet this increasing demand. Soybean is the main crop and it is among the biggest responsible factors behind economically success of the Brazilian agribusiness. Aiming at increasing production of this important crop, soil decompression techniques have been used constantly. Soil compaction occurs due to the crop-livestock integration, intensification of crops, use of large and heavy machines and agricultural operations with inadequate soil moisture level. The sum of these factors results in an increase in soil density, which restricts water infiltration and storage, leading to flooding, and limiting root development. By promoting soil decompression either through biological or mechanical methods, soil physical conditions become more suitable for crop development what increases soil water infiltration and storage root distribution, increasing the plant’s ability to tolerate periods of water stress. In the test in question, a quadricycle was used wich counted on the measurement of soil compaction through the automated system for measurement. Based on this information, scarification management was performed in area that presented high resistance to soil penetration and scarified an area that presented low resistance to penetration. It was possible to observe that this management brought a 3.2% increase of grain yield of the area of high resistance to penetration and of 12.3% in the area of low resistance to penetration, but without statistical difference. When observing the effect of the scarification in each zone of resistance to different soil penetration, the most positive yield effect in the zone of low resistance to penetration is due to the preferential water flow of the area as well as a larger area of water abstraction, concluding that for a site-specific scarification, the mapping of accumulated water flow to the soil penetration resistance mapping must be linked to perform a really efficient work.<br>O uso de técnicas para a descompactação de solos tem crescido ano a ano em um planeta onde a demanda de alimentos é maior a cada dia. Nesse contexto, o Brasil vem se consolidando como um dos principais produtores de alimentos para atender a essa demanda, sendo a soja a principal cultura de grãos cultivada no país e uma das grandes responsáveis pelo resultado econômico e pelo destaque do agronegócio brasileiro. Visando cada vez mais uma produção crescente dessa importante cultura, técnicas de descompactação de solo têm sido utilizadas constantemente. A compactação do solo ocorre em decorrência de vários fatores: integração da lavoura-pecuária, intensificação de cultivos, utilização de máquinas cada vez maiores e mais pesadas, realização de operações com nível inadequado de umidade do solo. A soma desses fatores resulta em um adensamento do solo, o qual restringe a infiltração e armazenamento de água, ocasiona enxurradas e limita o desenvolvimento da estrutura radicular das culturas implantadas. Ao promover a descompactação do solo seja através de métodos biológicos ou mecânicos, as condições físicas do solo tornam-se mais adequadas ao desenvolvimento das culturas, possibilitando uma melhor infiltração de água no solo e uma melhor distribuição da estrutura radicular da planta no solo, aumentando a capacidade da planta de tolerar períodos de estresses hídricos. No ensaio em questão, foi utilizado um quadriciclo que contava com a medição da compactação de solo através do sistema automatizado para medição. Com base nesta informação foi realizado manejo de escarificação em uma área que apresentava alta resistência a penetração do solo e escarificada uma área que apresentava baixa resistência a penetração. Tornou-se possível observar que esse manejo trouxe um incremento de 3,2% de produtividade de grãos na área de alta resistência a penetração e de 12,3% na área de baixa resistência a penetração, porém sem diferença estatística. Ao observar o efeito da escarificação em cada zona de resistência a penetração de solo distinta, o efeito produtivo mais positivo na zona de baixa resistência a penetração se deve ao fluxo preferencial de água da área assim como uma maior área de captação de água, concluindo que para uma escarificação sítio-específica deve ser atrelado o mapeamento de fluxo acumulado de água ao mapeamento de resistência a penetração do solo para assim realizar um trabalho realmente eficiente.

Com o objetivo de estudar o comportamento do feijoeiro cultivar IAC Carioca Eté, em função do preparo do solo, manejo de água e parcelamentos da adubação nitrogenada, no período de inverno, foi conduzido um trabalho de pesquisa na área experimental da Faculdade de Engenharia-UNESP, Campus de Ilha Solteira, localizada em Selvíria-MS. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, no esquema de parcelas subsubdivididas, com as subparcelas dispostas em faixas e quatro repetições. As parcelas foram constituídas por três modalidades de preparo do solo (grade pesada + grade niveladora, escarificador + grade niveladora e plantio direto). As lâminas de água aplicadas por aspersão foram determinadas pela utilização de diferentes coeficientes de cultura (L1, L2 e L3) e constituíram as subparcelas e os parcelamentos da aplicação do nitrogênio (0-75, 25-50, 50-25 e 75-0 kg.ha-1 na semeadura e em cobertura aos 22 DAE, respectivamente), as subsubparcelas. Durante o desenvolvimento do trabalho foram realizadas as seguintes avaliações: número de dias para o florescimento pleno, características físicas do solo, matéria seca de plantas, teor de N total na parte aérea das plantas, número de vagens/planta, número de grãos/planta, número médio de grãos/vagem, massa de 100 grãos, produtividade de grãos e teor de N nos grãos. Os resultados obtidos permitiram concluir que o preparo do solo com grade pesada...<br>The appropriate management aiming higher yields of crops as nitrogen fertilization, water supply through of the irrigation and factors which provide a better growth of the root system, as the soil tillage, are very important to improve the efficiency by common bean crop and increase its yield. This research aimed to evaluate the IAC Carioca Eté cultivar as a function of soil management systems and water management, and nitrogen split application, in winter season, at Experimental Station of UNESP - Ilha Solteira Campus, located in Selviria-MS. A randomized complete block design, in split-split plot scheme, with subplots in strips, with four replications was used. The plots were constituted by three soil management systems: harrow disk + leveling disk, chisel plough + leveling disk, and no-tillage system. The water levels, applied through a sprinkler system (L1, L2, and L3) constituted the subplots and four nitrogen rates in split application: 0-75, 25-50, 50-25 and 75-0 kg ha-1 applied at sowing time and side dressing at 22 days after plant emergency, respectively, constituted the subsubplots. Number of days up to full flowering, soil physical characteristics, dry matter of plant, shoot nitrogen content, number of pod/plant, number of grain/plant, number of grain/pod, weight of 100 grains, grain yield, and grain nitrogen content were evaluated. The soil management with harrow disk + leveling disk provided the higher grain yield related to no-tillage system, but it did not differ from chisel plough + leveling disk treatment. Diante deste contexto, foi desenvolvido o presente trabalho, no Município de Botucatu, SP, em Terra Roxa Estruturada ((NITOSSOLOS VERMELHOS - NV, EMBRAPA, 1999), durante o período de agosto de 1999 a maio de 2001. O objetivo foi avaliar a cultura da soja nos sistemas de manejo do solo: preparo convencional (uma gradagem pesada seguida de duas gradagens niveladoras); escarificação seguida de gradagem niveladora; escarificação; sistema de plantio direto com três épocas de dessecação da cobertura vegetal (30 e 10 dias antes da semeadura da soja e após a semeadura) empregando dois tipos de mecanismos sulcadores, disco duplo e haste sulcadora), para abertura do sulco de deposição de fertilizantes na semeadora-adubadora de plantio direto, em todos os sistemas de manejo do solo. Avaliou-se a densidade do solo, resistência do solo à penetração, cobertura vegetal, infestação de planta daninha, sulco de semeadura, emergência, nutrição, sistema radicular e produtividade da soja. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso com parcelas subdivididas em faixas, sendo seis tratamentos primários constituídos pelos preparos e dois secundários constituídos por mecanismos sulcadores, com quatro repetições. A deficiência hídrica, no inverno e na primavera, impediu a formação de cobertura vegetal por triticale (X triticossecale Wittmack) e milheto (Penisetum americanum (L.) Leeke), por isso, a vegetação espontânea foi utilizada como alternativa de cobertura vegetal...(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo).<br>Abstract: The adoption of the conservation management systems requires the soil adaptation and the crop utilized as a function of the edafoclimatic variations found in agricultural areas, so that the process becomes productive and viable. In the light of this, the present work was developed in Botucatu of State São Paulo, Brazil, from August 1999 to May 2001 in Ultisol. The aim was to appraise the soybean crop in the soil management systems: conventional tillage (one harrow plowing followed by two harrow leveling); chiseling followed by harrow leveling; chiseling, no-tillage system with three seasons of weed blanket dessication (30 and 10 days before soybean seeding and after the seeding). Two kinds of furrow openers mechanisms, double disc and chisel opener were combined for the furrow for fertilizer application in no-tillage seeders / planters, in all soil management system. The soil physical properties density and strength, crop blanket, weeds, seeding furrow, emergence, nutrition, root systems and soybean grain yield were evaluated. The experiment was made randomized block with subdivided plots in strips, with six primary treatments, two secondary and with four repetitions. Introduction of final thesis deals with description of difficulties which face agricultural machines for soil processing in public traffic. It is followed by control calculations of tractor hitch and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Second part contains brief description of exact machine type and its main components. Following part is concerned about security and legislative requirements for transportation of carried cultivators on roads. For more this part describes, experimental measurement and calculation of dynamic loads, which are further used as input for strength analysis. Fifth part describes preparation of numeric model, strengths analysis of original frame and following sixth part brings frame editing and results of strength analysis with additional minor changes.

Analizamos el rol de las caricaturas y chistes en la construcción y propagación de identidades y alteridades, estereotipos y estigmas, puesto que los judíos, en general, aparecen como alteridad en esas fuentes. Por medio de la tesina, buscamos mostrar cómo el humor puede ser soporte para la etnización de determinados conjuntos de individuos. En el análisis de esas representaciones, consideramos las relaciones entre ellas y los contextos sociopolíticos interno y externo, la política editorial y el posicionamiento de la revista en relación a cuestiones sociales, políticas y económicas en Brasil y en otros países, principalmente Estados Unidos y Alemania, así como elementos que posibilitan la crítica interna de esas fuentes. La discusión de ellas se organizó en torno a los siguientes ejes temáticos: las representaciones del cuerpo presentes en las caricaturas y sus relaciones con discusiones sobre la política racial y eugenesia en Brasil; el exilio judaico y la política inmigratoria brasileña; representaciones sobre los judíos en medio a cuestiones de la política y economía nacional y política internacional en el período. El análisis se basa en referencial bibliográfico sobre análisis del discurso y que permite analizar los recursos lingüísticos, en fuentes textuales y en fuentes visuales y textuales, involucrados en la construcción del humor<br>Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo a realização de uma leitura critica e sistematizada das charges e piadas veiculadas pela revista ilustrada carioca Careta, durante o período de 1936-1945, a fim de compreender o papel desempenhado pelo humor visual e verbal na construção e difusão de determinadas representações sociais sobre os judeus na sociedade brasileira. Analisamos o papel das charges e piadas na construção e veiculação de identidades e alteridades, estereótipos e estigmas, visto que os judeus, em geral, aparecem enquanto alteridade nestas fontes. Por meio da dissertação, buscamos mostrar como o humor pode ser suporte para a etnização de determinados conjuntos de indivíduos. Na análise destas representações, consideramos suas relações entre elas e os contextos sociopolíticos interno e externo, a política editorial e o posicionamento da revista em relação a questões sociais, políticas e econômicas no Brasil e noutros países, principalmente Estados Unidos e Alemanha, assim como elementos que possibilitam a crítica interna destas fontes. A discussão delas foi organizada em torno dos seguintes eixos temáticos: as representações do corpo presentes nas charges e suas relações com discussões acerca da política racial e eugenia no Brasil; o exílio judaico e a política imigratória brasileira; representações acerca dos judeus em meio a questões da política e economia nacional e política internacional no período. Diante deste contexto, foi desenvolvido o presente trabalho, no Município de Botucatu, SP, em Terra Roxa Estruturada ((NITOSSOLOS VERMELHOS - NV, EMBRAPA, 1999), durante o período de agosto de 1999 a maio de 2001. O objetivo foi avaliar a cultura da soja nos sistemas de manejo do solo: preparo convencional (uma gradagem pesada seguida de duas gradagens niveladoras); escarificação seguida de gradagem niveladora; escarificação; sistema de plantio direto com três épocas de dessecação da cobertura vegetal (30 e 10 dias antes da semeadura da soja e após a semeadura) empregando dois tipos de mecanismos sulcadores, disco duplo e haste sulcadora), para abertura do sulco de deposição de fertilizantes na semeadora-adubadora de plantio direto, em todos os sistemas de manejo do solo. Avaliou-se a densidade do solo, resistência do solo à penetração, cobertura vegetal, infestação de planta daninha, sulco de semeadura, emergência, nutrição, sistema radicular e produtividade da soja. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso com parcelas subdivididas em faixas, sendo seis tratamentos primários constituídos pelos preparos e dois secundários constituídos por mecanismos sulcadores, com quatro repetições. A deficiência hídrica, no inverno e na primavera, impediu a formação de cobertura vegetal por triticale (X triticossecale Wittmack) e milheto (Penisetum americanum (L.) Leeke), por isso, a vegetação espontânea foi utilizada como alternativa de cobertura vegetal....<br>The adoption of the conservation management systems requires the soil adaptation and the crop utilized as a function of the edafoclimatic variations found in agricultural areas, so that the process becomes productive and viable. In the light of this, the present work was developed in Botucatu of State São Paulo, Brazil, from August 1999 to May 2001 in Ultisol. The aim was to appraise the soybean crop in the soil management systems: conventional tillage (one harrow plowing followed by two harrow leveling); chiseling followed by harrow leveling; chiseling, no-tillage system with three seasons of weed blanket dessication (30 and 10 days before soybean seeding and after the seeding). Two kinds of furrow openers mechanisms, double disc and chisel opener were combined for the furrow for fertilizer application in no-tillage seeders / planters, in all soil management system. The soil physical properties density and strength, crop blanket, weeds, seeding furrow, emergence, nutrition, root systems and soybean grain yield were evaluated. The experiment was made randomized block with subdivided plots in strips, with six primary treatments, two secondary and with four repetitions. During the winter and spring, the hydro deficiency did not allow the covering formation for por triticale (X triticossecale Wittmack) and milhet (Penisetum americanum (L.) Resumo: O manejo adequado de práticas como a adubação nitrogenada, fornecimento de água através da irrigação e fatores que proporcionam um melhor desenvolvimento do sistema radicular, como o preparo do solo, são importantes para aumentar a eficiência do feijoeiro na utilização dos recursos disponíveis, possibilitando aumentar a produtividade. Com o objetivo de estudar o comportamento do feijoeiro cultivar IAC Carioca Eté, em função do preparo do solo, manejo de água e parcelamentos da adubação nitrogenada, no período "de inverno", foi conduzido um trabalho de pesquisa na área experimental da Faculdade de Engenharia-UNESP, Campus de Ilha Solteira, localizada em Selvíria-MS. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados, no esquema de parcelas subsubdivididas, com as subparcelas dispostas em faixas e quatro repetições. As parcelas foram constituídas por três modalidades de preparo do solo (grade pesada + grade niveladora, escarificador + grade niveladora e plantio direto). As lâminas de água aplicadas por aspersão foram determinadas pela utilização de diferentes coeficientes de cultura (L1, L2 e L3) e constituíram as subparcelas e os parcelamentos da aplicação do nitrogênio (0-75, 25-50, 50-25 e 75-0 kg.ha-1 na semeadura e em cobertura aos 22 DAE, respectivamente), as subsubparcelas. Durante o desenvolvimento do trabalho foram realizadas as seguintes avaliações: número de dias para o florescimento pleno, características físicas do solo, matéria seca de plantas, teor de N total na parte aérea das plantas, número de vagens/planta, número de grãos/planta, número médio de grãos/vagem, massa de 100 grãos, produtividade de grãos e teor de N nos grãos. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo)<br>Abstract: The appropriate management aiming higher yields of crops as nitrogen fertilization, water supply through of the irrigation and factors which provide a better growth of the root system, as the soil tillage, are very important to improve the efficiency by common bean crop and increase its yield. This research aimed to evaluate the IAC Carioca Eté cultivar as a function of soil management systems and water management, and nitrogen split application, in winter season, at Experimental Station of UNESP - Ilha Solteira Campus, located in Selviria-MS. A randomized complete block design, in split-split plot scheme, with subplots in strips, with four replications was used. The plots were constituted by three soil management systems: harrow disk + leveling disk, chisel plough + leveling disk, and no-tillage system. The water levels, applied through a sprinkler system (L1, L2, and L3) constituted the subplots and four nitrogen rates in split application: 0-75, 25-50, 50-25 and 75-0 kg ha-1 applied at sowing time and side dressing at 22 days after plant emergency, respectively, constituted the subsubplots. Number of days up to full flowering, soil physical characteristics, dry matter of plant, shoot nitrogen content, number of pod/plant, number of grain/plant, number of grain/pod, weight of 100 grains, grain yield, and grain nitrogen content were evaluated. The soil management with harrow disk + leveling disk provided the higher grain yield related to no-tillage system, but it did not differ from chisel plough + leveling disk treatment. This diploma thesis deals with increasing the service life of parts intended for soil cultivation. The work evaluates the current possibilities of increasing the utility value of spare parts. Practical tests will provide recommendations for the most appropriate method to increase durability. The work examines uncharted methods of testing soldered joint. The results are evaluated in terms of quality and economic profitability. All results from this work are based on the basis of practical tests of plowing machine in rocky soil.

However, several parameters are used to evaluate soil compaction like bulk density and soil penetration resistance, but these parameters are dependent of soil type and moisture, therefore, the study of a parameter that could compare the different soils would facilitate the soil compaction studies. This work was divided in four chapters. In the first chapter the objective was to evaluate some physical-mechanical parameters of Alfisols and Oxisols submitted to different tillages. Six soils from Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, were collected, with clay content varying from 100 to 650 g kg-1. The core samples were collected from 0.08-0.13 m layer, equilibrated to the tension of 33 kPa and submitted to uniaxial compression test with application of successive and static loads. Based on the vertical displacement measured in the consolidometer after application of each load, were evaluated initial (Dsi) and final (Dsf) bulk density, deformation (Def), initial saturation degree (Gsi), initial volumetric moisture (qvi), pre compression stress (sp) and compression index (Cc) by Casagrande s method. Results indicated that managements with larger compaction presented smaller deformation and susceptibility to compaction; managements with recent revolviment of soil presented larger displacement from their compression curves, showing larger susceptibility to compaction; the Oxisol with larger clay content, due ability to retain more water in determined tension and due larger susceptibility to compaction, need to be more careful with traffic of machines than sandy soils. The second chapter aimed to study some physical properties of Alfisols and Oxisols from Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, submitted to different tillages and its influence on root growth and soybean yield. R esults showed larger densities in the approximate depth of 0.10 m and the penetration resistance do not appear in layers with uniform resistance, are spaces with larger and smaller resistance; the root evaluation, even visually, it is a good indicative of the soil physical condition and the bulk density and penetration resistance, if appraised with moisture near field capacity, are good indicators of the soil for plant development; crop yield was associated to soil physical conditions. The third chapter had as objective evaluate the effect of the particles size and tillage in the degree of compactness and to verify the best pressure to obtain the reference bulk density. Six soils of Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, submitted to different tillages were collected, with clay content varying from 100 to 650 g kg-1. For determination of the bulk density core samples were collected from layers of 0-0.05, 0.05-0.10, 0.10-0.15, 0.15-0.20, 0.20-0.25 and 0.25-0.30 m and for evaluation of the reference bulk density core samples were collected in the layer of 0.08-0.13 m. For determination of the reference bulk density samples were equilibrated to the tension of 33 kPa and submitted to the uniaxial compression test, with application in each soil sample only one load of 200, 400, 800, 1600 kPa and 3200 kPa. It was also obtained the soil compression curve with application of successive loads in each soil sample to compare the results obtained with the samples that was applied only one load. They were evaluated also the macroporosity and soil penetration resistance, yield and root development of soybean. In agreement with the obtained results, the load of 1600 kPa was the best pressure to obtain the reference bulk density in the uniaxial compression test using core samples, independent if applying just the load of 1600 kPa or from the load of 1600 kPa of the soil compression curve; the largest soybean yield was obtained with degree of compactness of 82% for Alfisols and 85% for Oxisols and the degree of compactness was a good indicator of the physical conditions of the soil, presenting good relationship with soil penetration resistance, macroporosity, root growth and soybean yield; the degree of compactness looks like independent from particle size, based especially in the results of crop yield and macroporosity in function of degree of compactness. The fourth chapter aimed to study the effect of different compaction states on the soil physical properties and growth and yield of soybean, corn and wheat. An experiment was set in the Cooperativa Regional Tritícola Serrana Ltda (COTRIJUÍ) , Ijuí city, Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, in an Oxisol. The completely randomized experimental design was used, in a bifactorial with split plots, with three repetitions. The main plots had three compaction states (PDC no tillage during six years + four passes of a machine with mass of 10 Mg in the agricultural year 2003/2004; PD no tillage during six years; Escarif no tillage during six years + chisel and harrowing in the agricultural year 2003/2004) and the split plots had soybean and corn. The soil physical properties (macroporosity, microporosity, total porosity, bulk density and soil penetration resistance) and development and yield of soybean, corn and wheat were measured. The results showed that the additional compaction presented increment of the soil resistance to penetration until the depth of 0.12 m; soil compaction influenced negatively soil physical properties; soybean and wheat were sensitive to compaction, soybean and corn had reduced heights and the wheat and soybean had their root system reduced length, for the additional compaction; soil compaction affected crop yield of corn, soybean and wheat, been the larger yields verified in no tillage and the smaller in treatments with additional compaction; the larger wheat yield was observed in the succession with soybean<br>A compactação do solo é tema de vários estudos que visam avaliar seus efeitos no solo e na planta. Vários parâmetros são utilizados para avaliar a compactação do solo, como densidade do solo e resistência à penetração, mas esses parâmetros são dependentes do tipo e da umidade do solo; portanto, o estudo de parâmetros que comparam diferentes solos facilita o estudo sobre compactação do solo. Este trabalho foi dividido em quatro capítulos. No primeiro capítulo o objetivo foi avaliar alguns parâmetros físico-mecânicos de Argissolos e Latossolos submetidos a diferentes sistemas de manejo. Foram coletados seis solos do Rio Grande do Sul, com granulometria variando, aproximadamente, entre 100 a 650 g kg-1 de argila. As amostras com estrutura preservada foram coletadas na profundidade de 0,08-0,13 m e equilibradas à tensão de 33 kPa, e submetidas ao teste de compressão uniaxial com aplicação de cargas sucessivas e estáticas. Baseado no deslocamento vertical medido no consolidômetro após a aplicação de cada carga foram avaliados a densidade do solo inicial (Dsi) e final (Dsf), deformação (Def), grau de saturação inicial (Gsi), umidade volumétrica inicial (qvi), e pressão de pré-consolidação (sp) e índice de compressão (Cc) determinados pelo método de Casagrande. Os resultados indicaram que manejos com maior estado de compactação inicial apresentaram menor deformação e menor suscetibilidade do solo à compactação; sistemas de manejo com revolvimento do solo recente apresentaram maior deslocamento de suas curvas de compressão, mostrando maior suscetibilidade à compactação; o Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico típico, pela capacidade de reter mais água a uma determinada tensão e pela maior suscetibilidade à compactação, necessita de maior cuidado com o tráfego de máquinas do que solos arenosos. O segundo capítulo objetivou estudar algumas propriedades físicas de Argissolos e Latossolos do Rio Grande do Sul submetidos a diferentes sistemas de manejo do solo e suas influências no crescimento radicular e rendimento da cultura da soja. Os resultados mostraram que independente do solo e manejo, de modo geral as maiores densidades foram encontradas na profundidade aproximada de 0,10 m; os níveis de resistência do solo à penetração não se apresentam em camadas uniformes, ocorrem espaços de maior e menor resistência; a densidade do solo e a resistência à penetração se avaliada com umidade próxima à capacidade de campo, mostraram-se bons indicadores do solo para desenvolvimento da planta e a avaliação do sistema radicular, mesmo que apenas visual, é um bom indicativo da condição física do solo; o rendimento esteve associado às condições físicas dos solos. O terceiro capítulo teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito da textura e do manejo do solo no grau de compactação e verificar a melhor pressão para se obter a densidade referência. Foram coletados seis solos do Rio Grande do Sul submetidos à condições de manejo distintas, com granulometria, aproximadamente, entre 100 e 650 g kg-1 de argila. Para a determinação da densidade do solo foram coletadas amostras com estrutura preservada nas camadas de 0-0,05; 0,05-0,10; 0,10-0,15; 0,15-0,20; 0,20-0,25 e 0,25-0,30 m e para avaliação da densidade referência foram coletadas amostras com estrutura preservada na camada de 0,08-0,13 m. Para a determinação da densidade referência, as amostras foram equilibradas à tensão de 33 kPa e submetidas ao teste de compressão uniaxial, com aplicação em cada amostra de solo carga única de 200, 400, 800, 1600 kPa e 3200 kPa. Também foi obtida a curva de compressão do solo com aplicação de cargas sucessivas em cada amostra de solo para poder comparar os resultados obtidos com as amostras em que foi aplicada carga única. Foram avaliados também a macroporosidade e a resistência do solo à penetração, e o crescimento radicular e o rendimento da cultura da soja. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a carga de 1600 kPa foi a melhor pressão para se obter a densidade referência no teste de compressão uniaxial utilizando amostras de solo com estrutura preservada, independente de ser obtida de aplicação de carga única ou da curva de compressão do solo; o maior rendimento da soja é obtido com grau de compactação, em média de 82% para os Argissolos e 85% para os Latossolos; o grau de compactação mostrou-se um bom indicador das condições físicas do solo, apresentando boa relação com rendimento da cultura da soja, resistência à penetração, macroporosidade e desenvolvimento radicular; o grau de compactação parece ser independente da ranulometria do solo, baseado principalmente nos resultados de rendimento e macroporosidade em função do grau de compactação. O quarto capítulo objetivou estudar o efeito de diferentes condições de compactação sobre as propriedades físicas do solo e crescimento e rendimento das culturas soja, milho e trigo. Para isso, foi conduzido um experimento no campo tecnológico da Cooperativa Regional Tritícola Serrana Ltda (COTRIJUÍ), município de Ijuí (RS), em um Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico típico. Foi utilizado o delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado, em um bifatorial com parcelas subdivididas, com três repetições, tendo nas parcelas principais três estados de compactação (PDC - Plantio direto há seis anos que recebeu compactação adicional por quatro passadas de máquina com massa de 10 Mg no ano agrícola 2003/2004; PD - Plantio direto há seis anos; Escarif - Plantio direto há seis anos, sendo escarificado e gradeado no ano agrícola 2003/2004) e nas subparcelas as culturas de verão soja e milho e trigo no inverno. Foram avaliadas as propriedades físicas do solo macroporosidade, microporosidade, porosidade total, densidade do solo e resistência do solo à penetração e o crescimento e rendimento das culturas soja, milho e trigo. Os resultados mostraram que a compactação adicional apresentou incremento da resistência do solo à penetração até a profundidade de 0,12 m e afetou negativamente as propriedades físicas do solo; as culturas milho, soja e trigo foram sensíveis à compactação, tendo a altura das culturas soja e milho e comprimento radicular das culturas soja e trigo, reduzidos pela compactação adicional; a compactação do solo influenciou o rendimento das culturas soja, milho e trigo, sendo os maiores rendimentos verificados no plantio direto e os menores no tratamento com compactação adicional, e o maior rendimento do trigo foi observado na sucessão com soja

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>The competitiveness of the agricultural production system has led producers to seek ways to enhance their crops and increase their profits. With the reduction of sowing windows and intensification of production systems, there was an increase in power, size and frequency of use of equipment at no tillage. These larger and heavier machines brought some system problems, soil compaction by heavy traffic of such equipment. This compaction, in addition to affecting the development of plant roots, increases the strength requirement of implements. Then, the elevation of these levels coupled with stagnation or reduction in production levels that have justified intervention on the system with some type of tillage equipment, and implement that best fits the characteristics of developing a conservation tillage is the chisel plow. The fact that there is a deficiency of comparative information and chisel plow their bodies active, the study aimed to evaluate the performance of three different loosen elements used in chisel plowing (one experimental and two commercial), in order to gather information as a basis to diagnose potential market of loosen experimental elements compared to the loosen commercial elements, using as a benchmark for comparison, the average in strength and power drawbar, area of soil elevation, soil mobilization and swelling, fuel consumption and specific operational fuel consumption and specific operational resistance. Results showed that the experimental loosen element performed better than the commercials on major variables, such as the fuel consumption, average force and power at the drawbar. The presence of the disk in front of the loosen elements damaged the traction force demand, but with lower fuel consumption. The increase in forward speed gave rise to increasing demand for traction force and fuel consumption and reduced specific operational fuel consumption. The slip did not reach the recommended levels in the literature.<br>A competitividade do sistema produtivo agrícola têm levado os produtores a buscar formas de intensificar seus cultivos e aumentar seus lucros. Com a redução das janelas de semeadura e a intensificação dos sistemas produtivos, houve um aumento da potência, do tamanho e da frequência de utilização dos equipamentos no sistema de semeadura direta. Essas máquinas maiores e mais pesadas trouxeram alguns problemas ao sistema, a compactação do solo pelo trafego intenso desses equipamentos. Essa compactação, além de prejudicar o desenvolvimento das raízes das plantas, aumenta o requerimento de força dos implementos. Então, a elevação desses níveis aliada a redução ou estagnação nos níveis de produção têm justificado a intervenção no sistema com algum tipo de equipamento de preparo de solo, e o implemento que melhor se enquadra pelas características de desenvolver um preparo conservacionista é o escarificador. Tendo em vista que há deficiência de informações comparativas entre escarificador e seus órgãos ativos, o trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o desempenho de três diferentes elementos descompactadores utilizados em escarificadores (um experimental e dois comerciais), com vistas a levantar informações que sirvam de base para diagnosticar o potencial de mercado do elemento descompactador experimental frente às comerciais, utilizando como parâmetro para comparação, a força e potência média na barra de tração, área de elevação, mobilização e empolamento do solo, consumo horário e específico operacional de combustível e a resistência específica operacional. Os resultados mostraram que o elemento descompactador experimental teve um desempenho melhor do que os comerciais, nas principais variáveis estudadas, tais como o consumo horário de combustível, força média na barra de tração e potência média na barra de tração. A presença do disco de corte à frente dos elementos descompactadores prejudicou a demanda de força de tração, mas com menor consumo de combustível. O aumento da velocidade de deslocamento proporcionou aumento da demanda de força de tração e consumo horário de combustível e reduziu o consumo específico operacional. O patinamento não atingiu os níveis recomendados pela literatura.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>The growing demand for energy that causes the increased traffic of agricultural machinery, larger and more robust, acts negatively on soil compaction, directly and indirectly affecting crop productivity, as many changes in soil physical attributes. As a potential technique to solve this problem has the chiseling, which promotes the disruption of these compacted layers, without causing the inversion of the soil, keeps the plant residues deposited on the surface, improves infiltration, the structure and porosity of the soil and thus facilitates erosion control. However this operation has a high demand for traction. Seeking a more efficient operation of scarification, ie, better utilization of energy, developed and evaluated a tool to break ground in layers simultaneously. For this purpose it was necessary to construct a Structure-Port Mobile Tools capable of performing experimental procedures resulting from the planned treatments. As a mobile source of power was used a Massey Ferguson tractor model MF 275 with 53 kW. The experiment was conducted in the Municipality of Capon Beautiful South, Rio Grande do Sul, in a clayey soil. As a general objective, we sought to answer the following questions: (i) is there any significant difference between chiseling in a single layer or more than one layer, considering the average horizontal force on the drawbar, the specific resistance and the average hourly fuel consumption as criteria for each level of speed? (Ii) how the deepening affects the average horizontal force in the drawbar? And (iii) acts as the advance on the soil area mobilized? Configurations were tested with chiseling of the soil in one, two and three layers, with variations in longitudinal distances between the tips of the spikes. The chiseling treatments in two concurrent 0,15 meters layers and longitudinal distance between the tip ends of 0,30 and 0,40 meters, with one in 0,10 meter of deepening and 0,30 meters advancing presented as the most promising. It was concluded at the end of this work, considering all the tested configurations, there are combinations of deepening, advancing and speed, which proved more efficient than chiseling a single layer.<br>A crescente demanda de energia que ocasiona o aumento do tráfego de máquinas agrícolas, maiores e mais robustas, atua negativamente na compactação do solo, afetando direta e indiretamente a produtividade das culturas, pois modifica diversos atributos físicos do solo. Como técnica potencial para solucionar este problema tem-se a escarificação, que promove o rompimento dessas camadas compactadas, sem ocasionar a inversão do solo, mantém os resíduos vegetais depositados na superfície, melhora a infiltração, a estrutura e a porosidade do solo e facilita assim o controle da erosão. Contudo esta operação apresenta elevada demanda de tração. Visando uma operação de escarificação mais eficiente, ou seja, com maior aproveitamento de energia, desenvolveu-se e avaliou-se uma ferramenta para o rompimento do solo em camadas, de forma simultânea. Para tanto foi necessária a construção de uma Estrutura Porta-Ferramentas Móvel, capaz de executar os procedimentos experimentais decorrentes dos tratamentos planejados. Como fonte móvel de potência foi utilizado um trator marca Massey Ferguson, Modelo MF 275 com 72 CV (53 kW) de potência. O experimento foi conduzido no Município de Capão Bonito do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, em um solo de textura muito argilosa. Como objetivo geral, buscou-se responder às seguintes perguntas: (i) existe alguma diferença significativa entre a escarificação em única camada ou em mais de uma camada, considerando a força horizontal média na barra de tração, a resistência específica e o consumo horário médio de combustível como critérios, para cada nível de velocidade? ; (ii) de que forma influi o aprofundamento (espessura das camadas) na força horizontal média na barra de tração? ; e (iii) como atua o avanço (distância longitudinal entre as ponteiras das hastes), sobre a área de solo mobilizada? Foram testadas configurações com escarificação do solo em uma, duas e três camadas, com variações nas distâncias longitudinais entre as pontas das ponteiras. Os tratamentos com escarificação em duas camadas simultâneas de quinze centímetros e distância longitudinal entre as pontas das ponteiras tanto de trinta quanto de quarenta centímetros, juntamente com aquele com aprofundamento de dez e avanço de trinta centímetros apresentaram-se como mais promissores. Concluiu-se ao final deste trabalho, considerando todas as configurações testadas, que existem combinações de aprofundamento, avanço e velocidade, que revelaram-se mais eficientes que a escarificação em camada única.

Дисертація присвячена розробці методу контролю технічного стану доліт, що базується на аналізі нечіткої (нечислової) інформації про параметри процесу буріння. Запропоновано новий метод контролю технічного стану шарошкових доліт на вибої свердловини, який включає в себе лінгвістичний опис технологічних ситуацій, що виникають в процесі буріння свердловин, і яким керуються технологи-ператори при прийнятті рішень про підйом долота для заміни в зв’язку із зношенням його опор чи озброєння. Метод дозволяє контролювати стан опор і озброєння шарошкових доліт у реальному масштабі часу, в умовах геолого-технологічної невизначеності, що дає можливість досягти вищих техніко-економічних показників процесу буріння та запобігти виникненню аварійних ситуацій. Основні результати роботи знайшли промислове впровадження на бурових підприємствах України, а також у навчальному процесі.<br>Диссертация посвящена разработке метода контроля технического состояния долот, базирующимся на анализе нечеткой (не числовой) информации о параметрах процесса бурения. Предложен новый метод контроля технического состояния шарошечных долот на забое скважины, включающий в себя лингвистическое описание технологических ситуаций, которые возникают в процессе бурения скважин, и которым руководствуются технологи-операторы при принятии решений о подъеме долота для замены в связи с износом его опор или вооружения. Метод позволяет контролировать состояние опор и вооружения шарошечных долот в реальном масштабе времени, в условиях геолого-технологической неопределенности, что дает возможность достичь более высоких технико-экономических показателей процесса бурения и предотвратить возникновение аварийных ситуаций. Основные результаты работы нашли промышленное внедрение на буровых предприятиях Украины, а также в учебном процессе. Диссертация состоит из вступления, пяти разделов и приложений. Во вступлении обоснована актуальность работы, сформулированы цели и практическая ценность работы, отображены основные результаты работы, которые выносятся на защиту. В первом разделе проведен критический анализ методов и технических средств контроля состояния шарошечных долот в процессе бурении скважин на нефть и газ. Усовершенствована классификация методов контроля технического состояния долот. Проанализированы методы контроля технического состояния долот, на основе которых оценены новые разработки в этой области. Отмечено, что в связи с развитием методов теории нечетких множеств имеется возможность организации нового подхода к разработке методов контроля технического состояния долот, основанном на применении нечеткой логики для решения научной задачи контроля состояния долот в условиях неопределенности процесса бурения и выбрано направление исследований. Приведены общие сведения о процессе бурения и буровых долотах, как о контролируемом объекте и выбрано направление исследований. Во втором разделе разработаны теоретические положения метода контроля технического состояния шарошечных долот в условиях неопределенности процесса бурения и математическая диагностическая модель шарошечного долота. Проведено обоснование использования положений нечеткой логики для контроля состояния шарошечных долот. Сформулированы основные понятия и определения нечеткой логики, на основе которой в виде правил-продукций создана нечеткая математическая модель контроля технического состояния шарошечных долот. Параметры процесса бурения представлены в виде нечетких множеств, что позволило реализовать разработанный метод контроля с помощью серийных технических средств. В третьем разделе разработано методическое, техническое и программное обеспечение метода контроля состояния долот. Предложены методы и измерительная аппаратура, необходимая для получения непрерывной информации о технологических параметрах и показателях процесса бурения, которая была использована при разработке и исследовании метода контроля состояния шарошечных долот. Четвертый раздел посвящен разработке метода контроля технического состояния долот в условиях неопределенности процесса бурения на основе лингвистического описания, полученного в результате анализа промысловых данных о работе долот в режиме их катастрофического износа. Обоснован выбор частоты опроса датчиков системы контроля. Осуществлено реализацию разработанного метода контроля на базе DynStar и Ремиконт. Разработана алгоритмическая структура устройства контроля технического состояния долот. В пятом разделе проведен анализ и обобщение результатов исследований метода контроля технического состояния долот в условиях неопределенности процесса бурения. Исследована общая погрешность измерений параметров процесса бурения. На основе методов теории вероятностей исследована точность и достоверность контроля технического состояния шарошечных долот, а также эффективность использования устройства в промысловых условиях. Рассчитана эффективность контроля технического состояния долот с помощью разработанного метода. Результаты исследований использованы в учебном процессе при изучении дисциплин “Автоматизаця технологических процессов”, “Технические средства автоматизации” для студентов специальности 7.092501 - Автоматизированное управление технологическими процессами и производствами. Демонстрационный образец устройства контроля технического состояния долот внедрен в учебный процесс в виде лабораторного стенда. Разработанный метод и рекомендации по его использованию приняты для внедрения на буровых предприятиях Украины: Долинском и Надворнянском УБР ОАО “Укрнефтъ”. Ожидаемый экономический эффект от внедрения составляет 145 тыс. грн.<br>The dissertation is devoted to development of a method of check of availability index of product of chisels basing on analysis fuzzy (not numeric) information on arguments of process of drilling The new method of check of improvement of rock bit on a bottom hole including the linguistic specification statement of technological situations, arising is proposed during well boring, and by which one the technologists - operatives are guided at acceptance of the decisions about rise of a chisel for substitution in connection with its wear. The method allows to monitor a state of bearings and arms of rock bit is continuum and realtime, in conditions of technological equivocation, that allows to achieve higher technical and economic indexs, and also to drill wells on oil and gas without emergencies The basic results of work are introduced at the chisel enterprises of Ukraine and in educational process.

The number of application specific instruction set processors is rapidly increasing, because of increased demand for low power and small area designs. A lot of new instruction sets are born, but they are usually confidential. University of California in Berkeley took an opposite approach. The RISC-V instruction set is completely free. This master's thesis focuses on analysis of RISC-V instruction set and two programming languages used to model instruction sets and microarchitectures, CodAL and Chisel. Implementation of RISC-V base instruction set along with multiplication, division and 64-bit address space extensions and implementation of cycle accurate model of Rocket Core-like microarchitecture in CodAL are main goals of this master's thesis. The instruction set model is used to generate the C compiler and the cycle accurate model is used to generate RTL representation, all thanks to Codasip Studio. Generated compiler is compared against the one implemented manually and results are used for instruction set optimizations. RTL is synthesized to Artix 7 FPGA and compared to the Rocket Core synthesis.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior<br>The soil compaction has been noted under no-till especially in clay soil texture. One important characteristic of soil compaction in cropland is non-uniform occurrence. With precision farming (PF) is possible determine spatially the soil compaction allowing the site specific management defined as site specific chisel (SSC). This work was carried out in a cropland managed with PF in Victor Graeff, RS. The soil is Red Latossol with Cfa climate following Koppen classification. The treatments were: a) conventional chisel tillage (CCT); b) site specific chisel with uniform depth (SSCU); c) site specific chisel with variable depth (SSCV) and d) check plot - non disturbed soil (NC). The main evaluations were: water infiltration and other soil physic characteristics: macroporosity, microporosity, total porosity, relative density and aggregate stability soil layers: 00-0.05, 0.05 0.1, 0,1 0.15 e 0.15 -0.20 m , yield map, soil cover, soil resistance assessed by penetrometer, fuel consumption. The soil resistance indicated the soil compaction occurrence in zones of the cropland. The chisel tillage improved the soil physic characteristics, but it didn t improve the soybean yield. Besides that, the infiltration rate was increased five times, but after seven months the infiltration rate decreased 70%. The site specific chisel maintains 70% of soil cover, while conventional chisel only 25%. It was found high relationship between soil resistance and soybean yield (r2=0.87) and soil resistance and temporal yield variability (r2=0.97).<br>A compactação tem sido observada no sistema de plantio direto (SPD), principalmente em solos com textura argilosa. Uma característica importante da compactação é que a sua ocorrência é desuniforme dentro da área. Com técnicas de agricultura de precisão (AP) é possível identificar os locais onde ela ocorre, possibilitando a intervenção localizada, chamada de escarificação de sitio especifico (ESE). Este trabalho foi conduzido em uma área comercial, manejada sob o SPD utilizando técnicas de AP no município de Victor Graeff, RS. O solo do local é um Latossolo Vermelho com clima subtropical do tipo Cfa úmido segundo a classificação de Koppen. Os tratamentos foram: a) Escarificador Convencional (EC); b) escarificador de atuação sítio específico com profundidade Fixa (ESE-Prof. Fixa); c) escarificador sítio específico com variação de profundidade (ESE-Prof. Variada); e d) testemunha - Sem Escarificar (SE). As avaliações foram: infiltração de água, macroporosidade, microporosidade, porosidade total, densidade relativa do solo e agregação, avaliação de mapas de rendimento, determinação da cobertura vegetal, geração de mapas de resistência a penetração com penetrômetro (RP), consumo de combustível na operação de escarificação. O mapa de RP indicou a ocorrência da compactação de forma localizada na área. A escarificação apresentou melhoria nas propriedades físicas do solo, mas não incrementou o rendimento. Aumentou a taxa de infiltração de água no solo em cinco vezes em relação à testemunha, porém estes valores decresceram em até 70% após sete meses que ela foi realizada. O escarificador sítio específico manteve cerca de 70% de cobertura vegetal, enquanto o escarificador convencional 25%. Encontrou-se elevada correlação entre a RP (R2=0,87) e o rendimento e RP e variabilidade temporal do rendimento e (R2=0,97) respectivamente.

La palabra «chiste» se traduce en ruso como «anekdot», aunque estos términos no tienen el mismo significado. En los estudios de lingüística rusa, se destaca que el anekdot constituye un género textual independiente y goza de un lugar especial en el sistema contemporáneo de géneros textuales de la lengua rusa. Este breve texto humorístico siempre ha despertado el interés de la comunidad académica. En particular, se ha estudiado el famoso y productivo ciclo de chistes políticos surgido durante la época soviética (Dundes 1971; Draitser 1978 inicialmente, Graham 2003a; Davies 2007, 2010, 2011, 2014a and 2014b en época más reciente). En esta tesis se estudian los chistes étnicos en lengua rusa, otro popular subgénero. Nuestra atención se centra en los blancos de estos anekdoty y tiene dos objetivos: el primero consiste en determinar qué nacionalidades aparecen como blanco de estos chistes étnicos más habitualmente y las razones por las que estos grupos, y no otros, han sido elegidos; el segundo es observar la evolución de estos personajes del chiste desde la época soviética –cuando estos ciclos de chistes étnicos surgieron– hasta la actualidad. Para alcanzar el primer objetivo, se han seguido los siguientes pasos: en primer lugar, se han identificado las nacionalidades que se convirtieron en blancos en época soviética. Se ha determinado que los grupos que protagonizaban con más frecuencia estos chistes eran los judíos, los ucranianos, los georgianos, los chucotos y los estonios. En segundo lugar, se ha descrito el contexto histórico y social en que estos ciclos de chistes surgieron. En tercer lugar, se ha descrito la imagen que se proyectaba de estos blancos en los chistes. Por último, se han analizado estos chistes y su contexto a la luz de la teoría del humor étnico de Christie Davies, a fin de determinar si los mecanismos de elección de estos blancos en el humor étnico en lengua rusa se corresponden a los constructos teóricos de dicha teoría. En lo que se refiere al segundo objetivo, se ha recopilado un corpus de chistes étnicos en lengua rusa que contiene 1 170 textos aparecidos en las épocas postsocialista y pospostsocialista. Estos textos se han empleado para llevar a cabo un estudio comparativo y diacrónico que nos ha permitido detectar los cambios y las continuidades en los personajes de estos chistes desde la época de su surgimiento hasta la actualidad. Cada anekdot incluido en el texto ha sido analizado en base a tres criterios: el guion étnico atribuido al blanco en el chiste, las referencias a su apariencia (rasgos físicos y atuendo) y la presencia o ausencia de máscara lingüística atribuida al protagonista. Tras la realización de este trabajo de investigación, se ha llegado a la conclusión de que los blancos de los chistes étnicos en lengua rusa son elegidos mediante los criterios que se exponen en la teoría del humor étnico, lo cual hace que el humor étnico en lengua rusa se asemeje a otras tradiciones nacionales. Asimismo, se puede concluir que la imagen de los blancos de estos anekdoti no cambia significativamente con el paso del tiempo. Asimismo, nuestro estudio incluye una dimensión cuantitativa ausente en la bibliografía previa que permite añadir algunos matices a las afirmaciones previamente expuestas: en los chistes étnicos en lengua rusa tiene lugar un proceso de simplificación. Por un lado, las referencias a la apariencia y la aplicación de la máscara lingüística disminuyen con el paso del tiempo y son menos importantes en la caracterización de los personajes que los guiones. Por otro lado, se observa una disminución en el número de guiones étnicos empleados, así como la concentración de un porcentaje significativo de chistes en torno a un número reducido de guiones.<br>This thesis studies ethnic jokes in Russian language. It focuses on the targets of these jokes and has two goals: on the one hand, to determine why and how some nationalities became recurrent ethnic targets already in Soviet times. On the other hand, to observe the evolution of these targets overtime, from Soviet to present times. To achieve the first goal, the most popular targets of Russian ethnic joke lore have been identified. It has been established that Jews, Ukrainians, Georgians, Chukchi and Estonians were the most common butts. Next, the historical and social context in which these characters first appeared was described. Finally, we checked if the mechanisms used to choose these targets correspond to the premises of Christie Davies’ theory of ethnic humour. The second goal was attained by the compilation of a corpus containing 1,170 ethnic jokes published during post-socialist and post-post-socialist periods. The collected texts were used to conduct a comparative, diachronic study that allowed to detect the changes and continuities in a period that spans from the Soviet era to the present. It can be concluded that in the process of target election, Russian-language ethnic humour is guided by the principles pointed out in the theory of ethnic humour and are thus common to humour and joke traditions of many other countries. Moreover, the image of these characters does not change substantially from one time period to another. Nevertheless, the quantitative analytical dimension introduced in this research project reveals that targets are not as elaborately characterised as it can be assumed from the reading of qualitative works about targets of Russian ethnic jokes. In Russian-language post-socialist and post-post-socialist ethnic jokes, a process of simplification takes place: firstly, references to appearance and the application of a linguistic mask are not frequent and play a less important role than ethnic scripts. Secondly, although some of the characters –especially Jews and Ukrainians– have numerous scripts attributed, a high percentage of the analysed jokes are built around a few scripts, usually one or two.

Дисертація присвячена питанням розробки методів і алгоритмів оптимального керування процесом буріння нафтових і газових свердловин з дискретно-неперервною зміною керувальних дій. У дисертації комплексно вирішуються питання побудови узагальненої математичної моделі, ідентифікації параметрів моделі, оптимального керування процесом буріння з дискретно-неперервною зміною керувальних дій та відпрацювання долота як за опорою, так і за озброєнням, які в сукупності розв’язують значну наукову та прикладну задачу в галузі спорудження глибоких та газових свердловин. Розроблені методи та алгоритми оптимального керування дозволяють створити комп’ютерну систему оптимального керування процесом з дискретно-неперервною зміною ксрувальних дій, що дає можливість досягти вищих техніко-економічних показників при бурінні свердловин. Основні результати праці знайшли промислове впровадження в системі контролю і керування процесом буріння СКУБ-М2, а також в учбовому процесі.<br>Диссертация посвящена вопросам разработки методов и алгоритмов оптимального управления процессом бурения нефтяных и газовых скважин с дискретно-непрерывным изменением управляющих воздействий. В диссертации комплексно решаются вопросы математического моделирования, идентификации параметров модели, оптимального управления процессом бурения с дискретно-непрерывным изменением управляющих воздействий и отработки долог, как по вооружению, так и по опоре, которые в совокупности решают важную научную и прикладную проблему в области сооружения глубоких нефтяных и газовых скважин. Характеристика процесса сооружения скважины с точки зрения управления показала, что буровая установка является сложной динамической системой со многими каналами передачи как управляющих воздействий, так и возмущений, которые обусловлены взаимодействием системы с окружающей средой и качеством бурильной установки. В связи с неопределенностью, сложной взаимосвязью показателей и параметров, невозможно дать строгое математическое описание процесса бурения, чем и объясняется большое количество приближенных моделей. Экспериментальное исследование моделей разного вида показало, что не существует единственной модели, которая бы наиболее точно описывала изменение механической скорости во времени на всем интервале бурения. С целью охвата целого класса моделей, адекватных разным условиям бурения, была создана обобщенная математическая модель процесса углубления скважин в пространстве состояний, координатами которой являются проходка на долото и переменные, характеризируюшие состояние вооружения и опор долота. Разработаны стратегия и алгоритмы идентификации, обеспечивающие определение параметров обобщенной математической модели в изменяющихся условиях бурения. Решение задачи идентификации на первом этапе включает в себя определение чувствительности алгоритма идентификации к изменениям параметров модели, на основании чего оценивается влияние точности определения этих параметров на вычисление значений проходки. В работе сделан сравнительный анализ методов оптимального управления скважин, который показал, что по технико-экономическим показателям наиболее эффективным является метод оптимального управления процессом бурения нефтяных и газовых скважин с дискретнонепрерывным изменением управляющих воздействий. Суть предложенного метода в том, что управляющие воздействия - осевая нагрузка на долото и скорость его вращения - поддерживаются постоянными на протяжении некоторого интервала времени, а в определенный момент времени одно или два управляющих действия скачкообразно изменяют свои значения на другие, которые будут постоянными для следующего интервала времени. В этом случае задача оптимального управления сводится к определению моментов переключения времени с одного уровня на другой, для решения которой был использован безградиентный метод поиска минимума функции (алгоритм Нелдера-Мида). Для решения задачи оптимального управления с дискретно-непрерывным изменением управляющих воздействий в качестве критерия оптимальности был использован критерий минимизации метра проходки скважины, поскольку он учитывает прямые экономические показатели процесса бурения. Так как в структуру критерия оптимальности, согласно которому совершается процесс бурения, входит время спуско-подьемных операций, то для его прогнозирования был проведен сравнительный анализ постоянной, линейной, квадратической моделей, а также модели, разработанной на базе нейросетей, который показал, что наиболее точно время спуско-подьемных операций описывает квадратическая модель. Для реализации разработанных методов и алгоритмов оптимального управления с дискретно-непрерывным изменением управляющих воздействий предложена компьютерная система контроля и управления, базирующаяся на использовании аппаратных средств системы управления процессом бурения СКУБ-М2. Оптимальная компьютерная система управления имеет двухуровневую иерархическую структуру. Самый нижний уровень представляет собой контроллер, исполняющий функции локального управления. На верхнем уровне в масштабе реального времени решаются задачи идентификации параметров математической модели, вычисление прогнозируемого времени бурения, моменты переключения управляющих воздействий с одного уровня на другой, определение оптимальных значений осевой нагрузки на долото и скорости его вращения; организация и поддержка базы данных с информацией об объекте управления; оперативная регистрация и отображение информации о состоянии технологического процесса на экране монитора. Для реализации функций верхнего уровня разработано программное обеспечение в виде прикладного программного модуля, в который интегрирована серия программных продуктов, объединенных интегратором написанным на языке С++, что позволяет отображать информацию на экране монитора автоматизированного рабочего места в виде видеокадров параметров, графиков, дневников событий и др.<br>The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of methods and algorithms development problems of optimal management in hole drilling process with digital-to-analogue change in control actions. The thesis runs the questions of generalized mathematical model construction, authentication of model parameters, optimal management of process of the bore drilling with digital-to-analogue change in control actions and a chisel working off both after its equipment and its support, which in common decide a considerable scientific and applied task put in industry for construction of deep oil and gas mining holes. The developed methods and algorithms of optimal management is used to create the computer based optimal control system of bore drilling process with digital-to-analogue change of control actions that enables to attain much higher technical and economical indexes at the bore drilling. Main results of this work were industrially introduced in the control system and management process of the bore drilling system SCUB-M2, as well as into educational process.

Робота присвячена дослідженню теплонавантаженості зовнішніх та внутрішніх пар тертя стрічково-колодкового гальма з рухомими фрикційними накладками бурової лебідки. Виконані дослідження базуються на наступних теоретичних засадах: теплоутворенні у фрикційних вузлах гальма, оцінці їхнього теплового балансу та термічного опору контакту зовнішніх та внутрішніх пар тертя, ефектах природного охолодження фрикційних вузлів. Проведені стендові експериментальні дослідження модельного нетрадиційного гальма по оцінці теплонавантаженості зовнішніх та внутрішніх пар тертя при природному та примусовому їхньому охолодженні. Встановлені закономірності впливу конструктивних та експлуатаційних параметрів нетрадиційного гальма на теплонавантаженість його пар тертя. Запропонована методика оцінення інтенсивності природного теплообміну фрикційних вузлів гальма. Розроблено системи для примусового охолодження пар тертя гальма, які працюють на ефектах теплової труби та термоелектричному. Наведена довговічність поверхонь фрикційних накладок гальма при природному та примусовому охолодженні його зовнішніх і внутрішніх фрикційних вузлів.<br>Диссертация состоит из введения, четырех разделов, выводов, списка использованных источников и приложений. Первый раздел посвящен анализу динамической и тепловой нагруженности серийных и ленточно-колодочных тормозов с подвижными фрикционными накладками буровых лебедок, а также тепловой нагруженности фрикционных узлов серийного тормоза. Во втором разделе раскрыты процессы нагревания и охлаждения фрикционных узлов ленточно-колодочного тормоза с вращающимися фрикционными накладками. В третьем разделе роботы уделено внимание экспериментальным исследованиям тепловой нагруженности ленточно-колодочных тормозов с подвижными фрикционными накладками буровых лебедок. В четвертом разделе рассмотрена оценка теплонагруженности фрикционных узлов тормоза и интенсификация их охлаждения.<br>The operation is devoted to study of thermal lofding of exterior and internal twin frictions of a band-block brake with revolving friction strips of a chisel hoist. The studies are founded on following theoretic bases: thermal formation of friction nodes of a brake, estimation of their heat balance and thermal resistance of contact exterior and internal twin frictions, explaining of effects of natural cooling of friction nodes. The experimental studies of model nonconventional brake are held on the fixture according to exterior internal twin frictions at natural and their forced chilling. The regularities of influencing of constructional and operation arguments of a nonconventional brake on a thermal loading of its twin frictions are established. The method of application of an estimation of intensity of natural heat change of friction nodes is proposed. The systems for forced chilling of twin frictions of a brake are designed, which one work on effects of a calorific tube and thermoelectric. The longevity of surfaces of friction strips of a brake is reduced at natural and forced chilling its exterior and internal of friction nodes.

Design of hand tools is an age-old activity associated with the human species as ̳makers‘ of artefacts. There are evidences of tools manufactured by even pre-historic proto-human species that have been discovered all around the world. Knowledge of tool manufacturing has been seen as the pre-cursor to all the major technological discoveries in the history of the human species. Evidences of primitive tool making and use are also associated with some other animal species such as crows and chimpanzees. Therefore, it could be claimed that continuousimprovements in tool making distinctly distinguish human species from all the rest of the animals. The chisel is one of the most primitive tools that was manufactured first by proto-humans and later improved upon by the present-day humans. Woodworking chisels find a special place in any Maker‘s toolkit and have been essential in the creation of numerous utilitarian and aesthetic artefacts we are surrounded by today. There are two broad categories of value additions that can find place in sophisticated versions of basic hand tools. Firstly, value could be added to a hand tool in terms of increasing or improving its technical functionality. Concepts such as productivity and efficiency are two common measures used in validating such value additions. Such measures can on most occasions be objectively measured. Secondly, the other important kind of value addition to a tool design is in terms of improvements in the specific experiences associated with it - which is the primary concern of this research work. Comfort is one such positive experiential phenomenon. Comfort is a multidimensional experience and is highly subjective in nature. There could be different sources of comfort, and they are investigated primarily by conducting psychometric investigations. Aesthetic qualities of a specific product experienced through different sensory modalities leads to specific emotional responses in a user. This interaction affects the comfort experience of a user. It should also be noted from the past research that apart from pure psychological factors, there also exist physical factors that affect comfort experiences – especially a factor such as the'fit‘ of a product with a human user. Misfit of hand tools to a user‘s hand is a common cause of injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. Apart from physical dimensions of 'fit‘, there also exist psychological dimensions to the concept. An appropriate'fit‘ of a product to a user can be judged by a user by sensory experience and a'fitting‘ product has greater chances of being picked up for purchase as well as being retained by user or being purchased again. The present work aims to investigate experiential and comfort related factors associated with the design of wood working chisel handles during the early concept design phase of product development cycle. The methodology used in this study utilizes modes of analysis and validation centred on investigating subjective visual and physical experiences with products images and actual products. This research involves collecting information on field survey, analysis of hand anthropometry and grip strength data, understanding of manufacturer and user perceptions about design of tool handles and development of user comfort centered methodology for conceptual design of anatomically shaped inline chisel handles. Design directions from this work could be implemented as such or with specific tailoring in designing better chisels for regular wood working professionals in India and elsewhere.

However, in order to obtain the higher strength and the higher toughness of the part and to save the volume of the part material, a hot forging process is adopted most. In this paper, the hot forging design, the forging stage design, the die design and the flash trimming die design of a chisel forging are investigated. In this study, a commercial software DEFORM 3D based on the finite element method has been adopted for simulating and analyzing the material flow and the die stress, then the designed forging procedure could be evaluated efficiently during a design stage. The material SNCM439 is chosen for obtaining the needed strength and toughness after forging and heat treatment. An calculating excel program connected with SolidWorks software is set-up for drawing the die body automatically and saving the working time cost. From this study, a suitable hot forging die set of the chisel forging is developed. The results of this study could be a useful reference for a hot forging process design engineer.

碩士<br>南開科技大學<br>車輛與機電產業研究所<br>101<br>In this paper, the finite element method is employed in conjunction with the abductive network to predict the forging loads, die stress, forged workpiece strain and billet diameter in chisel hot forging. Different forging part dimensions combined with flash heights are taken into account as the process parameters in this study. A finite element-based code is utilized to investigate the forging loads, die stress and forged workpiece strain under different process parameters, and the abductive network is then employed to synthesize the data sets obtained from numerical simulations, thus establishing a predictive model. From this model, a forging load, die stress, forged workpiece strain and billet diameter can be predicted. The maximum predicting error of the prediction methods is 17.54% by the abductive network.

While Pablo Picasso internationally exhibited his paintings, he chose to expose his sculptures only through photographs. Picasso’s commitment to the photographic display of his sculpture comes to light through his fifteen year collaboration with Brassaï, the first photographer to collaborate regularly with the artist and the only one to engage thoroughly with Picasso’s sculptural oeuvre. This collaboration culminated in hundreds of images published largely on two occasions – a photo essay published in the avant-garde Journal Minotaure in 1933 and a catalogue covering almost fifty years of Picasso’s sculptural production published in French in 1948 and in English in 1949. These photographs, as well as unpublished prints, uncropped versions of the published photographs, and the contact sheets Brassaï assembled as he was photographing Picasso’s oeuvre are contextualized in light of contemporary theories regarding the presentation, representation, and dissemination of art. This case study sheds light on the way in which strategies of display shape art’s meaning, as well as the artist’s public image, reputation, and legacy.

Machine Learning is growing in popularity and spreading across different fields for various applications. Due to this trend, machine learning algorithms use different hardware platforms and are being experimented to obtain high test accuracy and throughput. FPGAs are well-suited hardware platform for machine learning because of its re-programmability and lower power consumption. Programming using FPGAs for machine learning algorithms requires substantial engineering time and effort compared to software implementation. We propose a software assisted design flow to program FPGA for machine learning algorithms using our hardware library. The hardware library is highly parameterized and it accommodates Tree Classifiers. As of now, our library consists of the components required to implement decision trees and random forests. The whole automation is wrapped around using a python script which takes you from the first step of having a dataset and design choices to the last step of having a hardware descriptive code for the trained machine learning model.
