Abstract:
The Bible is the main source of knowledge for every believer, especially for children in education. However, there is a tendency that Christian education prioritizes an educational model that emphasizes humanitarian philosophy so that it tends to no longer make the Bible the main source of Christian education. In obtaining data for writing this article, the author used a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The Bible is a material that should be given to children or society. This means that the teaching of the Bible itself does not only talk about the formation of morality and spirituality, but can also give weight to the main source as Christian education. The Bible is used as the main basis for teaching Christian Education in churches and schools that have a Christian curriculum. This is because the Bible is considered a holy book that contains the basic teachings of Christianity and is the highest authority for Christians. Therefore, in teaching Christian Religious Education, a Christian Religious Education teacher is required to use the Bible as the main source in providing explanations and teaching about the teachings of Christianity.

Abstract:
In the late Qing Dynasty, religious periodicals by Western missionaries were made legal in China, and subsequently became an important manner of their missionary cause. Among them, Child’s Paper 小孩月报 (1875–1881) by John Marshall Willoughby Farnham, a Protestant missionary from the United States, endeavoured to convert child readers by carrying children’s stories of moral and emotional education. By concentrating on the educational elements of Child’s Paper, this article inspects how conversion was achieved via the intertextual interpretation of Christian doctrines within these educational elements. Specifically, how the image of little Christians and urchins, respectively, represents salvation and redemption in Christian morals. This article holds that the missionaries’ stress on the authority of Christian discourse in the education of Chinese children makes evident an increasing emphasis on the reformative effects of Christianity on Chinese children. Moreover, the conversion-education efforts by missionaries also construed helping Chinese children gain a cross-cultural perspective on Western religion, and arguably inspired later Chinese intellectuals’ to create newspapers for the purpose of the pre-primary education of Chinese children.

Abstract:
The spiritual crisis among Sunday school children has become a serious concern in the context of Christian religious education. This article examines the important role played by Christian religious education teachers in overcoming this crisis. In a modern context full of challenges, children often experience spiritual isolation, loss of religious values, and difficulty implementing Christian principles in everyday life. Christian religious education teachers have a responsibility to provide guidance and inspiration to these children. This article examines strategies and methods Christian religious education teachers can use to help Sunday school children overcome spiritual crises. Some of the strategies described include the use of interesting Bible stories, interactive and creative teaching, building empathetic relationships with students, and encouraging reflection and application of Christian values in everyday life. Christian religious education teachers must also be able to tactfully face children's questions and doubts, and develop a deep understanding of children's spiritual and developmental needs. Through their role, Christian religious education teachers can be role models and sources of inspiration for Sunday school children in strengthening their faith and dealing with spiritual crises. In carrying out their duties, teachers must have a strong commitment to the mission of Christian religious education and pay attention to the social and cultural changes that affect children's lives. This article aims to inform and motivate Christian religious education teachers in carrying out their roles more effectively and relevantly amidst the spiritual crisis of Sunday school children. Through collaborative efforts between the church, parents and the Christian community, it is hoped that Sunday school children can obtain a solid foundation of faith and be able to overcome the spiritual challenges they face in their lives.

Abstract:
The known biography of the early african american writer and lecturer Maria W. Stewart (1803–79) is as brief as it is fascinating. After the childhood loss of her parents, she married James W. Stewart, a Boston shipping agent, in 1826. The Stewarts had close ties with the black radical David Walker, whose fiery 1829 Appeal kindled fears of slave rebellion and was in its third edition when Walker died under suspicious circumstances in August 1830. After James Stewart's own untimely death, in December 1829, his executors swindled Maria Stewart out of her inheritance, and she turned to the church and to writing and lecturing. Revising Walker's combination of jeremiad and Enlightenment-influenced political argument to reflect her own sense of faith, racism and racial uplift, and gender politics, Stewart became one of the first American women to address “promiscuous” audiences. She published a series of probing meditations as well as a set of her lectures—texts still startling for their power and bluntness—in pamphlets and, later, as Productions of Mrs, Maria Stewart (1835).

Abstract:
Abstract In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Chinese Christian familial ideals were traditional and revolutionary at the same time. They were traditional in wanting to preserve some role for parents in forming the marriages of their children and in seeing wives as primarily responsible for the care of children. But Christians were revolutionary in encouraging women to develop their personalities and work outside the home. They advocated women’s education and associated education with women’s empowerment and independence. Christians taught that marriage should be based on love and that daughters were just as important as sons, even if they chose to be single. Singleness, spouse self-selection, prioritizing the husband-wife relationship over the parent-child relationship, and pursuing a companionate model of marriage were all ways that Christians helped revolutionize familial ideals in China.

Abstract:
As democratic societies become more urbanised, pluralistic and science-driven, there are Secularist pressures to marginalise the Christian presence. At the same time, young and old are being put at greater risk from malign influences which threaten to sap their lives of meaning and worthy values. How are Christians to make an impact for good in the public domain, particularly in the school lives of children? This paper argues that in a post-Christian climate, interdenominational cooperatives, often in partnership with groups of local churches, are best positioned to minister acceptably and relevantly among their unchurched neighbours.

Abstract:
Knowing identity in the Christian faith is essential to the life of each believer. Understanding the concept of self is closely related to how a person in his daily dealings with him, with others around him and also shows how he represents God. The result of not knowing or knowing yourself wrong can have a bad impact on yourself, others, the environment, as well as faith in God. Thus, the role of Christian education is highly demanded by both Christian education in the family, church and Christian schools to be able to work well together in order to achieve the inculcation of the concept of self-identity according to the Christian faith in children. It is not easy to realize the concept of self-identity in accordance with the Christian faith in the lives of children in an era that is so influenced by the current developments. Therefore, there is a need for awareness from the parties implementing Christian education to instill the principles and values of living according to the Christian faith as a provision for children in navigating their lives to face the challenges of the times.

Therefore families need to understand the vision and mission of God for a family. One of the responsibilities of the family, in this case the parents, is to educate their children in the fear of God. However, children will get into a problem if they have parents of different religions. Because the difference in religion of the two parents will greatly affect the education they get. This also becomes the toughest challenge for Christian parents in educating their children in the Christian faith. Therefore, the focus of this research is on the parents who are Christians. The purpose of this research itself is to find out the views of the Christian faith regarding interfaith marriage and its impact on the growth of faith and children's education. As well as understanding educational methods that can be applied to children for the growth of faith and children's education. The method used is a qualitative method through a literature review by collecting information data through data collection through various reliable sources. The results obtained show that believers are not desired to marry people of different religions. Because interfaith marriages will have a huge impact not only on the family, but on the growth and education of children. So that to deal with this fact, two methods are obtained, namely the method of educating one's own faith and the method of educating children. Personally, Christian parents must be able to renew their faith first by building an intimate relationship with God and studying God's Word and allying with brothers and sisters in the faith. After that, you can apply a number of things to educate children such as approaching, setting an example and teaching God's Word continuously to children.Family is God's tool to carry out His plan. One of the responsibilities of the family as parents is to educate children in the fear of God. However, the problem is if the parents have different religions. Differences in the religion of the two parents will affect the upbringing of children. This fact is a challenge for Christian parents in educating their children in the Christian faith. The focus of this research is on the parents who are Christians. The purpose of this study is to find out the views of the Christian faith regarding interfaith marriage and its impact on the growth of faith and children's education. As well as understanding educational methods that can be applied to children for the growth of faith and the implications for the child's own education. Qualitative method through literature review. The result obtained is that according to the view of the Bible it does not want believers to marry with different religions. Because the impact of parents of different religions will affect the growth of children's faith. The child will experience a spiritual dilemma. Children will lose their identity spiritually and consequently follow other religions. Children will lose focus in completing education. The solution is an educational method for parents and children. Christian parents must build an intimate relationship with God, study God's Word and fellowship with brothers and sisters in the faith. Then, parents must approach, set an example and teach the Word of God continuously to their children. Thus, the child's faith will experience growth and make his focus and enthusiasm rise in completing his education.

Abstract:
Christian families are the primary institution in forming children's character into one that reflects Christlikeness. Instructing, educating, and guiding their children to become God-fearing individuals is a crucial responsibility that parents should take very seriously. This makes it necessary for them to take on a variety of roles in their children's character education, including 1) religious teacher, teaching their kids the fundamentals of Christianity to help them develop spiritual intelligence, 2) religious educator, educating kids faith-based applications to help them develop good personalities, and 3) religious role model, influencing their kids' lives. Children's character development leads to four outcomes: 1) a life filled with Christlike qualities that serve as a benchmark for their Christian faith; 2) a life guided by the Holy Spirit, who transforms children's lives; 3) an exemplary Christian life as a result of maturity, and 4) a life that bears the fruit of the Spirit.

This study explores the role of the teacher in implementing Christian religious education for early age children and its impact on their spiritual development. A qualitative research approach was employed, and data was gathered through interviews with teachers who specialize in Christian religious education. The participants were selected from different denominations to provide a broader perspective. The findings suggest that the role of the teacher is crucial in developing a strong faith foundation for children, and that effective teaching strategies, such as storytelling, can help to make religious education engaging and relatable. The study also emphasizes the importance of working together with parents to create a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages children to develop a strong faith foundation. The results of this study provide insights into the potential lifelong impact of religious education on the spiritual development of early age children and underscore the important role that teachers play in facilitating this process

REFORMED CHRISTIANS affirm this life, this world, this culture and seek to integrate faith and life in a seamless whole and to be culturally-engaged in a way that makes the world a better place for everyone. They therefore seek forms of schooling that enable students to radically and profoundly improve society. They ground their perspective in the idea of God's covenant with his people which requires the Christian community to bring children up in a vision of God's purpose of human and creational flourishing. Reformed education has three goals: conservation of the Christian worldview, inquiry into all aspects of life and the world and reform of culture through lives of discipleship.

Abstract:
This journal discusses the moral education of today's children from a Christian perspective. The term today's children in Indonesia is better known as Kids Age Now. Kids Age Now is actually an allusion to the unnatural behavior of today's children. Education that is distanced and moral is a series of basic moral principles and the virtues of attitudes and character that children must have and make habits from a beginner's time until they become obedient to God. This research is a library research with a literature study approach through reference sources, such as books, articles, journals, and other scientific sources used in the discussion of this research. To deal with the problems of Kids Age Now, morals that are sourced from the Bible and Christian youth activities are needed. The goal is that today's children become children who have good character and are commendable. Being a Christian youth with character and morals is not easy, because Christian youths with character and morals are youths whose behavior follows the teachings of Christ, have Bible-based morals, are able to be good Christian youths, and do the right things and what Christ wants.

Abstract:
Among the most unrelenting contemporary critics of public schools are members of the Christian Right, some of whom seek the destruction of public education. The theories of child rearing espoused by the Christian Right are analyzed in this article. They emphasize physical punishment, the breaking of children's will, and obedience to authority. Such theories cannot be supported by modern psychology. Furthermore, these child-rearing practices are totally incompatible with the constructivist models of learning that form the basis for the educational reforms undertaken by science, mathematics, and social studies educators. The school curriculum used in many fundamentalist Christian schools was also analyzed and found to be limited, biased, and sometimes untrue. The arguments made against outcomes based education and whole language programs were found to be confused and chaotic. The antagonism of the Christian Right to these programs is based on a fear of losing control over their children's thinking, rather than any compelling empirical data. It is concluded that many among the Christian Right are unable to engage in politics that make a common school possible. They may be unable to compromise and live with educational decisions reflecting a pluralistic democracy keeping separate church and state.

Abstract:
This article is a presentation of the problem of parents’ responsibility in raising their children. The first part shows a few general, but fundamental aspects of child upbringing in the Greco-Roman world. The next part describes ancient Christian texts written in Syria about the given problem (Didascalia Apostolorum, Constitutiones Apostolorum and selected works by St. John Chrysostom). These texts contain sincere admonishments to bring up children in accord with Christian ideals. Parents were sensitized to see the need for well-rounded moral and religious education of their children as well as for guarding them from negative influence of the surrounding world. The ultimate goal of such education was the salvation of the child (and the parents). In order to achieve this aim parents were required to use severe methods such as physical punishment, and to become more involved as educators, teachers and people responsible for the Christian formation of their children. It appears from these texts that although ancient Christian thinkers drew extensively from the achievements of classical culture in the field of child education and tried to transplant worthy ideals on the Christian ground, yet they gave them a different dimension and directed them toward a different aim.

Christian Religious Education has a role in fostering mentally retarded children so that they know God in their daily lives, and apply that education through their actions towards God, self, and others. Looking at the results of a research survey it appears that BEFORE retarded children receive education at C1 level SLB, many parents and even the environment are less accepting of their existence; Shyness and low self-esteem are seen in mentally retarded children; the development of children's abilities in trying to help themselves is still difficult; adaptation to the environment is still difficult; parental responses to educators in implementing PAK are still not emphasizing; the development of thinking, emotions, behavior, speech is still lacking. Seeing the condition of mentally retarded parents and children as above, they really need a Christian educator who can support, direct, educate, and foster them with great love and patience. Abstract: Christian religious education is a necessity for all age groups, including children. Instead, Christian Religious Education should be taught as early as possible for the good of the child in the future. The church is one of the places for children to get a Christian education, and the church is one of the main places for children to learn about Christianity. But unfortunately, sometimes the church forgets to pay attention to this need so the children's group becomes a little sidelined and only focuses on activities for adults. Even though there are so many ways to introduce Christian Religious Education to children in the church. Children are the future of the church; therefore, this age group should receive the same attention as other age groups. Therefore, the church must strive for the continuity of Christian Religious Education for children's groups. Thus, children who are said to be the future of the church can be committed from an early age to live according to the way of Christ and face the challenges they face. Abstract:
Education is a continuous effort to teach, educate, encourage and develop children’s potential. Education can not only be done in the school environment, but also in the family environment. In the perspective of the Christian faith, education begins in the womb. Education during the womb (prenatal) is education carried out by parents to their children, before the child is born. This is a sign that parents are carefully preparing children with Christian characters, who are able to grow in their existence as Christian youths. The main goal of educating children in the womb is not for intelligence, but stimulating children to have physical and spiritual potential that is ready to be developed in the real world. By using a literature review method, namely by examining various reading sources related to the research topic, it was found that prenatal education was oriented towards Christian religious education in the family which indirectly started from the mother, by maintaining behavior based on Christian faith, emotions, and being an example in behavior. Through this research, it is hoped that all family members will be able to grow, develop, and act according to Christian teachings and faith, to get to know Jesus Christ better.

Abstract:
As time goes by, and the influence of globalization continues to occur, it requires everyone to master science and technology, and have skills that do not make them outdated. However, through this development, human life has also become increasingly chaotic and chaotic, especially in the family (the relationship between children and parents), there is a lack of respect for parents and fellow humans, and they don't care about religion or things related to God. This is caused by the child's character not being built on the basis of the truth of God's word. So it is very important that Christian religious education is taught in families, schools and places of worship without being limited by time and space. Apart from that, Christian religious education must teach children about real life, so that children understand the purpose of this life. The influence of Christian religious education in the family is very large on children's growth if it is implemented seriously. The research method used in this research is qualitative research, with data collection techniques through literature review. The focus of this research is how Christian religious education is implemented in the household which can influence children's spiritual growth to increasingly reflect the character of Christ. The family is a very appropriate forum for forming a child's personality so that his spirituality continues to grow.
