In this thesis work, a high grade chromite concentrate obtained from PinarbaSi, Kayseri region of Turkey was reacted with sulfuric acid solution to determine the optimum conditions of leaching of chromite ores. Conventional methods for producing chromium are still valid in industry. The main process in production includes soda melting and taking it into solution in the form of chemical compounds such as sodium dichromate. Three and six valence states of chromium have importance in production. Trivalent chromium, chrome ore or chromite have no harmful effects. However, compounds of hexavalent c

Abstract:
The bulk of the world's known nickel reserves are contained in laterite ores but sulphidic ores remain the main source of the Western world's nickel production. With the continuing increase in nickel consumption and the depletion of sulphidic ores, the traditional source of nickel, the extraction of nickel from lateritic ores has been the subject of research interest worldwide. Advances in pressure acid leaching (PAL) technology have resulted in significant commercial attempts to extract nickel from these ores. Leaching the ore with sulphuric acid at elevated temperatures and pressures allows

Abstract:
Abstract Chronic, non-healing wounds constitute a massive financial burden on health care system. The healing processes of these wounds and their underlying pathology are only partly understood. In this study, important biological functions performed by Retinoic acid with its regulatory protein cellular retinoic acid binding protein 2 (CRABP2) were discussed. Possibly, these biological func-tions might be linked with chronic wound therapeutic by inducing antiproliferative activity of cells which leads to reduction in migration and growth rate of fibroblast during skin regeneration pro-cess in
