While we are all called to be followers of Jesus Christ, we are also called to lead in a variety of capacities. We teach our children about Jesus, we put forth every effort to model a Christ-like demeanor in our places of work, we lead institutions, we teach Bible classes, we share our faith with a neighbor—we are all called to lead. Our following Jesus Christ should ultimately lead others to Him as we travel the road of this life.

Abstract The present study explores how former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who are often referred to as Mormons, construct their identities. Framed in an interpretive narrative approach, 150 online exit stories of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that voluntarily left the Church were qualitatively analyzed. Findings reveal five prominent identities: (1) the disenfranchised victim, (2) the redeemed spiritualist, (3) the liberated self, (4) the (wo)men of science, and (5) the Mormon in name only. Neither the Apostles nor any Christian minister is admitted to use the priest’s title in the text of the New Testament. Nevertheless, in the New Testament we can perceive the development of the doctrine of the priest ministry in the early Church. Albert Vanhoye maintains that the lack of the term “priest” in the New Testament suggests the way of understanding of the Christian ministry, different from this in the Old Testament. It can’t be considered as a continuation of Jewish priesthood, which was concentrated mainly on ritual action and ceremonies. In the first century the Church developed t

Despite many obvious differences, there are a number of points of convergence in John’s and Paul’s Christology, Ecclesiology and Soteriology. At least three aspects manifest profound similarities in their Christologies: (1) Their foundational experience of Jesus Christ; (2) their relationship with Jesus Christ founded in the experience of love and (3) the radical affirmation of the pre-existence and divinity of Jesu

The Church is a popularly known part of the human society. The genesis was from the divine understanding of a few men and women during and after the ascension of Jesus Christ. The Church gradually grew into a great body of people of living faith. The significant impact of the Church in the human society over the years cannot be denied. The factual stance is challenging in the recent time due to the concurrent happenings of ineffectual activities perpetuated by so called ‘Christians’.
