Estudou-se a expressão diferencial de genes na glândula mamária de nove ovelhas da raça Churra em diferentes estados produtivos: não-lactentes, lactentes com elevada e baixa produção de leite. Utilizando a técnica de "differential display", por amostra de RNA total, realizou-se a reacção de transcriptase reversa (três primers-"âncora") e a reacção de amplificação da polimerase (oito primers-"arbitrários").
