<p class="Standard">W przedstawionym badaniu wzięło udział 118 osób – 48 mężczyzn i 70 kobiet, w wieku między 18. a 65. rokiem życia (M = 24,70; SD = 10,90). Rekrutacji osób badanych dokonano za pomocą metody kuli śnieżnej drogą internetową. Głównym celem badania była eksploracja potencjalnych predyktorów wsparcia społecznego – ciemnej triady, czyli konstruktu, na który składają się trzy cechy uznawane za niepożądane: psychopatia, makiawelizm i narcyzm, a także stylu konwersacyjnej niebezpośredniości, czyli skłonności zarówno do generowania wypowiedzi, w których ukryte są jakieś treści, jak i do doszukiwania się niejawnych komunikatów w wypowiedziach innych. Dodatkowo sprawdzono, czy między zmiennymi wyjaśniającymi zachodzi interakcja. Poddane dyskusji wyniki częściowo potwierdzają dwie hipotezy mówiące o związku między ciemną triadą i konwersacyjną niebezpośredniością a wsparciem społecznym. Okazało się, że analizy statystyczne częściowo potwierdziły dwa z przewidywanych wniosków. Istotne okazały się związki między makiawelizmem i psychopatią a wsparciem społecznym oraz między podskalą konwersacyjnej niebezpośredniości (generowaniem) a wsparciem społecznym. Nie udało się potwierdzić przewidywanej interakcji między zmiennymi niezależnymi.</p>

Ukraińscy wolontariusze – nowe pokolenie pracowników socjalnych. Problemy i perspektywy
 Działalność charytatywna w społeczeństwie ukraińskim, które jest w stanie wojny, zakłada zainteresowanie kwestią pracy wolontariuszy socjalnych. W dziedzinie psychologii i pracy socjalnej także nastąpiły poważne zmiany – pojawiła się pozytywna psychologia zdrowia i pozytywne nastawienie do pracy socjalnej. „Rewolucja emocjonalna” następuje w zakresie pracy zawodowej, prawidłowego funkcjonowania osobowości i dobrostanu jednostki. Takie inicjatywy i nastawienie legły u podstaw prezentowanych badań.
 Próba badawcza obejmowała 100 ochotników ukraińskich grup paramilitarnych. Zbadane zostały powiązania pomiędzy stopniem wypalenia emocjonalnego, cechami osobowości należącymi do „ciemnej triady” a subiektywnym poczuciem zadowolenia i dobrostanem psychicznym.
 Okazało się, że większość badanych osób znajduje się „w granicach normy” wypalenia emocjonalnego, ale tylko w jego pierwszej i drugiej fazie, tj. „napięcia” i „wyczerpania”. Stosunek liczby ochotników o dużym nasileniu pozytywnych cech osobowości i tych o niskim nasileniu cech negatywnych należących do „ciemnej triady” i na odwrót – tych o niskim poziomie cech pozytywnych i wysokim poziomie cech negatywnych, będących w trzeciej fazie wypalenia emocjonalnego – wynosi 1,5, tzn. 64 / 42%. Paradoksalnie, wykazano także odwrotną korelację pomiędzy wysokimi wynikami w zakresie „ciemnej triady” a niskim wypaleniem emocjonalnym oraz dodatnią korelację pomiędzy narcyzmem a poziomem subiektywnego poczucia zadowolenia. Jedyny element, który różnicuje dwie grupy ochotników, to najwyższe uzyskane wyniki w zakresie dobrostanu psychicznego oraz sumienność jako cecha osobowości (wielka piątka).
 Dane te świadczą o większej podatności na negatywne konsekwencje wypalenia wśród „dobrych” ochotników o wysokim morale (niskie wyniki w zakresie „ciemnej triady”).
 Uzyskane wyniki skłaniają badaczy do odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy aby być „najlepszym” ochotnikiem formacji paramilitarnej, nie trzeba mieć dobrego zdrowia, lecz być w stanie znacznego wypalenia emocjonalnego i zawodowego w warunkach wojny?

El poder es una de las figuras o elementos más analizados históricamente, producto a su indiscutible presencia dentro de las relaciones, tanto sociales como jurídicas. Diversos han sido los tratamientos ofrecidos a esta figura, el constitucional es el más importante de estos, de allí ha de nacer, legitimarse y actuar en armonía con otros poderes igualmente fundados, con claros y delimitados mecanismos que sirvan de control, evitando excesos o arbitrariedades en su ejercicio y con esto un desbalance en el sistema. El presente trabajo busca sintetizar los más relevantes fundamentos teórico-jurídicos de esta figura y su obligatorio enlace con la Constitución de un Estado, como verdadero instrumento de legitimación en el cual, además, ha de establecerse los mecanismos eficientes para su control, lo que cierra el círculo de vida por el que ha de transitar el poder.

Este trabajo se propone el análisis de los vínculos existentes entre libertad, democracia y república. Esta tríada está compuesta por conceptos fundamentales para la teoría política y el pensamiento liberal. Sin embargo, al no querer considerarla una trinidad, deberíamos analizarla críticamente como una trilogía, y que necesariamente se contrapone a otra compuesta por igualdad, poder y propiedad, que en cierta medida amplía la conceptualización. AbstractThis work is intended to analyze the links among freedom, democracy and republic. This triad is made up of fundamental concepts for political theory and liberal thought. However, since we do not want to consider it as a trinity, we should analyze it critically as a trilogy, concept that is necessarily opposed to another trilogy made up of equality, power and property, which broadens the conceptualization.

Narcyzm i makiawelizm to dwie z trzech składowych Ciemnej Triady Osobowości, opisanej po raz pierwszy przez Paulhusa i Williamsa. Konstrukt ten charakteryzuje się wysokim nasileniem pewnych cech, m.in. egoizmem i tendencją do manipulowania innymi ludźmi. Przeprowadzone badania miały na celu udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy osoby uzdolnione plastycznie różnią się od osób o przeciętnych uzdolnieniach pod względem nasilenia cech narcystycznych i makiawelistycznych.W badaniach wzięło udział 141 osób. Spośród nich 74 były studentami Akademii Sztuk Pięknych, 67 było studentami innych uczelni, niezwiązanych z dziedzinami artystycznymi. Badania przeprowadzono, wykorzystując Kwestionariusz Narcyzmu NPI Ruskina i Halla w polskiej adaptacji Bazińskiej i Drat-Ruszczak oraz skalę Mach IV Christiego i Geis, badającą postawę makiawelistyczną.Uzyskane wyniki pokazują, iż uzdolnienia plastyczne są czynnikiem istotnie różnicującym poziom badanych cech. Osoby uzdolnione plastycznie charakteryzują się wyższym poziomem makiawelizmu oraz narcyzmu w pewnym zakresie w porównaniu do osób o uzdolnieniach przeciętnych. Ponadto wyniki pokazały, iż znaczenie ma nie tylko fakt posiadania uzdolnień, lecz także przekonanie o własnym artyzmie.

Numerosos muestreos realizados por el territorio peninsular, a lo largo de estas tres últimas décadas, han deparado el hallazgo de Leistus (Pogonophorus) puncticeps Fairmaire & Laboulbène, 1854 en áreas geográfi­cas en las que se desconocía su presencia hasta la fecha. Las nuevas citas amplían la distribución ibérica de la especie hacia enclaves mediterráneos meridionales, perfilando un patrón de distribución discontinuo por el tercio oriental. Al mismo tiempo, estos hallazgos revelan cierta variabilidad, muy leve, en la forma de la lámina apical del edeago. Por otro lado, se confirman los parajes quebrados y abruptos como enclaves potencialmente favorables para la supervivencia de esta especie, especialmente si disponen de laderas pedregosas. En general, las nuevas localidades en donde se ha hallado L. (P.) puncticeps, cuentan con precipitación escasa y torrencial, una pluvio­sidad media que ronda los 600-700 mm, y una notable amplitud térmica. Como novedad, y utilizando Estaciones de Muestreo Subterráneo (EMS), se ha colectado en el Medio Subterráneo Superficial (MSS). El hallazgo de esta especie en este singular medio hipogeo y en diversos enclaves ibéricos (Sierra del Moncayo, formaciones montañosas del norte de la provincia de Alicante y Sierra de María), pone de manifiesto su tendencia troglófila, y más probablemente de tipo subtroglófila. Los nuevos hallazgos, sumados a los ya conocidos, sugieren que L. (P.) puncticeps ha seguido la misma historia evolutiva que Leistus (Pogonophorus) montanus Stephens, 1827 y Leistus (Pogonophorus) parvicollis Chaudoir, 1869, constituyendo una triada de relictos glaciales, resultado de un proceso de especiación por vicarianza. Los cambios acaecidos en el período postglacial explicarían la distribución discontinua que muestra en la actualidad L. (P.) puncticeps, y su tendencia a explorar, en estos enclaves, el MSS.

The main objective of this paper is exploration of mechanisms clarifying work behaviors commonly known as bad. Researchers call it Counterproductive Work Behaviors (CWB). Understanding of those processes can lead to theoretical conclusions that could help to minimize those behaviors in organizations. Presented research (N=138) was conducted to verify: 1) Goal Achievement Motivation, Dark Triad and Work Engagement as Counterproductive Work Behaviors predictors, 2) moderating role of Dark Triad and Work engagement for Counterproductive Work Behaviors. Additionally, we checked Narcissism as a mediator of Psychopathy and Machiavellianism with Counterproductive Work Behaviors. We used: Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (Szabowska-Walaszczyk, Zawadzka & Wojtaś, 2011), AGQ-r – Achievement Goal Questionnaire (Lipowska, 2016), CWB-c – Counteproductive Work Behavior – checklist (Baka, Derbis & Walczak, 2015) and Parszywa Dwunastka Questionnaire (Czarna & Jonason, 2016). Research was performed on a group of office workers. We assumed that this type of work can be connected with higher intensity of Counterproductive Work Behaviors. The aim of the present work is to analyze the relationships between the Dark Triad personality traits, work attitudes and organizational behaviors from the interactionist perspective. The theoretical part contains four chapters. The first one presents two basic approaches used to describe personality in the workplace: the trait approach and the interactionist approach. This chapter stresses the importance of distinguishing between `bright` and `dark` personality traits in the work environment. Moreover, it presents the main concepts raised within the framework of the interactionist approach to personality research in the work context, including the trait activation theory. The second chapter presents the concept of the Dark Triad of personality understood as a construct including three separate, `dark` personality traits: Machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy. It describes the unificationist and discriminatory perspectives in the Dark Triad studies, compares the Dark Triad to different personality models, presents the major problems in measurement of the Dark Triad traits and the most important behavioral correlates of Machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy. In addition, the issues of how people with `Dark Triad` personalities operate in the work environment were discussed. The third chapter describes work attitudes: job satisfaction and organizational commitment. It presents the definitions of both constructs, as well as their personal and situational determinants along with the nature of relations between the Dark Triad of personality traits and work attitudes. The fourth chapter focuses on two forms of voluntary behaviors in the workplace: organizational citizenship behavior and counterproductive work behavior. It discusses major terminological issues regarding work behaviors, along with three categories of determinants of work behaviors: work attitudes, situational factors and personal factors, including the Dark Triad personality traits. The next three chapters constitute the empirical part of the work. The first of them discusses the methodological basis of the author`s own study, the second one describes the obtained results, whereas the third one is dedicated to its interpretation. The majority of hypotheses concerning direct relationships between Dark Triad personality traits, work attitudes and organizational behaviors were confirmed. The study demonstrated that two situational factors (power in organization understood as formal position in the organization and interpersonal conflict in the workplace) served as moderators of the relations between Dark Triad personality traits and work attitudes along with organizational behaviors. Moreover, the author reported individual mediating effects of work attitudes on the relationships between Dark Triad personality traits and organizational behaviors. Taking into account the obtained results, a modification of the research model was proposed, including the direct associations between situational factors, work attitudes and organizational behaviors.

Advances in ubiquitous displays and wireless communications have fueled the emergence of exciting mobile graphics applications including 3D virtual product catalogs, 3D maps, security monitoring systems and mobile games. Current trends that use cameras to capture geometry, material re?ectance and other graphics elements mean that very high resolution inputs are accessible to render extremely photorealistic scenes. However, captured graphics content can be many gigabytes in size, and must be simpli?ed before they can be used on small mobile devices, which have limited resources, such as memory, screen size and battery energy. Scaling and converting graphics content to a suitable rendering format involves running several software tools, and selecting the best resolution for target mobile device is often done by trial and error, which all takes time. Wireless errors can also affect transmitted content and aggressive compression is needed for low-bandwidth wireless networks. Most rendering algorithms are currently optimized for visual realism and speed, but are not resource or energy ef?cient on a mobile device. This chapter focuses on the improvement of rendering performance by reducing the impacts of these problems with UbiWave, an end-to-end framework to enable real time mobile access to high resolution graphics using wavelets. The framework tackles the issues including simpli?cation, transmission, and resource ef?cient rendering of graphics content on mobile device based on wavelets by utilizing 1) a Perceptual Error Metric (PoI) for automatically computing the best resolution of graphics content for a given mobile display to eliminate guesswork and save resources, 2) Unequal Error Protection (UEP) to improve the resilience to wireless errors, 3) an Energy-ef?cient Adaptive Real-time Rendering (EARR) heuristic to balance energy consumption, rendering speed and image quality and 4) an Energy-ef?cient Streaming Technique. The results facilitate a new class of mobile graphics application which can gracefully adapt the lowest acceptable rendering resolution to the wireless network conditions and the availability of resources and battery energy on mobile device adaptively.
