Citrus hystrix DC. locally known as shauk-nu belonging to Rutaceae family has been chosen to investigate some chemical analysis and antimicrobial activity on its fresh fruit peel. Phytochemical investigation reveals the presence of alkaloids, α-amino acids, carbohydrates, flavonoids, glycoside, phenolic compounds, reducing sugars, saponins, steroids, tannins and terpenoids.
