The purpose of this research is to document the response of a rape survivor to a treatment based on Ehlers and Clark's (2000) therapy model and to use the material to evaluate the effectiveness of this kind of therapy in the South African context. <p>Gruppbehandling för personer med social ångest har under 5 år bedrivits på en öppenvårdspsykiatrisk mottagning. Sammanlagt har 10 grupper med totalt 50 deltagare behandlats. Gruppbehandlingen bygger på Clarks & Wells KBT modell. Social ångest och socialt undvikande minskade signifikant från för- till eftermätning, vid uppföljningen sjönk värdena ytterligare.
