The transportation system has a very important role in service to each customer because it must guarantee product mobility and at the same time be able to minimize transportation costs. In the distribution process in general, various problems arise, one of which is the problem of shipping routes so that transportation costs are less than optimal. Problems with suboptimal delivery routes are included in the Vehicle Routing Problem. For this reason, it is necessary to optimize the shipping route with an appropriate method. Abstract Leading Edge Slats are popularly being put into practice due to their capability to provide a significant increase in the lift generated by the wing airfoil and decrease in the stall. Consequently, their optimum design is critical for increased fuel efficiency and minimized environmental impact. This paper attempts to develop and optimize the Leading-Edge Slat geometry and its orientation with respect to airfoil using Genetic Algorithm. The class of Genetic Algorithm implemented was Invasive Weed Optimization as it showed significant potential in converging design to an optimal soluti

Most statics courses begin with a considerable amount of abstract discussion of forces and vectors. Since the mechanical engineering technology department's goal is to focus on practical, concrete instruction methods, the faculty has been working to expose students to more exercises that involve the practical application of statics to daily life. For the statics curriculum, a laboratory was developed that investigates the use of trusses in the surrounding community. Each truss is examined to determine its primary purpose, its type and any unique design features. Small groups discuss each examp

Abstract:
Abstract In this work, we present our advances to develop and apply digital twins for drilling fluids and associated wellbore phenomena during drilling operations. A drilling fluid digital twin is a series of interconnected models that incorporate the learning from the past historical data in a wide range of operational settings to determine the fluids properties in realtime operations. From several drilling fluid functionalities and operational parameters, we describe advancements to improve hole cleaning predictions and high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) rheological properties monitoring.

Abstract:
"In recent years, interest in adoption of cover crops on U.S. farmland has surged in the public and private sectors, as well as with farmers. Cover crops are crops planted to cover the soil and reach different climate and soil health benefits, such as reducing erosion; increasing water availability; and providing weed, pest or disease control; and to enhance biodiversity on a farm (Clark 2015). To promote use of climate-smart practices such as cover crops, the federal government launched new funding programs, including the Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities program, which invested $3.1
