This article analyzes the early records of Mission San Gabriel to conclude that the missionaries replaced native identities with new categories of gentile and neophyte, based on religious criteria, and blurred the racial-social distinctions brought by the colonizers from Mexico into one California frontier class, the gente de razón, based on their roles in colonization and their adherence to Catholicism. The consequences can be measured in the 1769 explorers’ depictions of Indigenous, in native resistance, and most clearly in the mission register of baptisms, confirmations, and marriages. Chri

Abstract:

Abstract:
Except for two reports on Lebanese immigrants, there have been no studies on the major histocompatibility [MHC] antigens in the Lebanese population. We describe the frequency and distribution of MHC class I antigens present in the A, B and C loci based on data obtained from 200 healthy unrelated individuals from different parts of Lebanon. The highest gene frequencies were as follows:A2 [24.8%], B35 [17.9%] and Cw4 [18.6%], making this haplotype the commonest. Comparison of genetic distances revealed a pattern closer to the Caucasoid population than to the Mongoloid, Oriental or Black populati

Abstract:
The object of research is the implementation of relations between software classes. It is shown that when implementing the aggregation relationship between classes, errors may occur if more than one client class is found. Class interaction errors can be caused by management of resource class attributes by one of the client classes in a way that is unacceptable to another client class due to invalid attribute values, state changes, method blocking, etc. To solve the problem, a special organization of the queue for client classes is proposed. A feature of the queue is the use of models of client

Abstract:

Abstract:
This paper presents the analysis of two works by three authors (Klein, Arnault de Nobleville & Salerne), and a translator and adaptator (Behn), published in 1760, that contain classifications of amphibians and reptiles. The nomenclatural status of the herpetological nomina in these works, particularly regarding their availability and taxonomic allocation, is clarified. The discovery that the nomen Testudinata Klein, 1760 is available and has priority over all other class-series nomina proposed for the chelonians is highlighted and discussed.
