Abstract:
This article focuses on images of walking in Agnès Varda's films – Cléo de 5 à 7 (1962), Sans toit ni loi (1985), and Les Plages d’Agnès ( 2008 ). The activity of walking (as urban flânerie, circular travelling or walking backwards) is central to these films, and can be seen as a corporeal practice that not only interweaves striated and smooth spaces but also offer a gender-sensitive, political contemplation on the forces of striation and smoothing as well as a re-invention of space. The women in movement in Varda's films embody a transgression of stratified territories such as the image-oriented society of the spectacle in Cléo, myths of adolescence and settled living in Sans toit ni loi, or the boundaries of aging in Les Plages d'Agnès.

La réalisation de la Pointe courte en 1954 vaut très tôt à Agnès Varda (née en 1928) le surnom de « mère de la Nouvelle vague ». Mais la cinéaste doit néanmoins attendre sept ans avant de pouvoir réaliser un deuxième long métrage, Cléo de 5 à 7 (1962). Ce film fait à la fois l’objet d’une analyse génétique et d’une étude de réception, toutes deux mises en résonance avec l’histoire culturelle de la France du début des années 1960. Transformant en créativité les contraintes de son producteur, puisant son inspiration à des sources littéraires (Diderot) et plastiques (Baldung Grien), Varda imagine un personnage de chanteuse populaire dans l’attente de résultats médicaux. Douchée par sa peur, la jeune femme cesse d’être une femme spectacle et découvre l’altérité. Dès les premiers synopsis, la cinéaste s’impose un cadre formel auquel elle ne dérogera pas : un récit au temps présent, découpé en chapitres, dans lequel les durées et les trajets sont vrais. Après une phase préparatoire qui lui permet de collecter un important matériau visuel et sonore, le film est tourné au cœur même du quatorzième arrondissement de Paris. Désireuse de dater son film, Varda évoque non seulement les grandes peurs des Français en 1961 – le Cancer, la guerre d’Algérie - mais aussi enchâsse dans son film un « vrai faux » bulletin d’informations radiophoniques d’Europe n°1. Bénéficiant d’une communication très inventive, à base d’avant-première, de novellisations et d’entretiens, le film séduit critiques et public. Très tôt qualifié de « chef-d’œuvre », Cléo de 5 à 7 a résisté aux affres du temps et demeure, aujourd’hui encore très présent dans les histoires du cinéma<br>Agnès Varda (born in 1928) was named the « mother » of the Nouvelle Vague not long after she had realised La Pointe courte in 1954. However the director had to wait for seven years before being able to direct her second feature film Cléo from 5 to 7 (1962). Both the genesis of the film and the way the audience reacted to the film are analysed in relation with the cultural history of France in the 1960’s. Varda turned her producer’s constraint into creation, she drew inspiration from literary (Diderot) and plastic (Baldung Grien) sources. She imagined her character as a popular singer waiting for medical check-up results. Stressed by anxiety, the young woman stops being a show woman and discovers otherness. From the very first synopsis the film maker sets herself a formal frame from which she will never depart : a present tense narrative divided into chapters in which lengths and distances are real. After a long preparatory phase which allows her to collect an important visual and sound material, the film is shot in the 14th district of Paris. Willing to relate the film to the historical reality of the moment, Varda evokes the great fears of the French in the 1960’s such as cancer, the war in Algeria and she also embeds her film into a “real fake” radio piece of news on Europe 1 radio station. Benifitting from a very imaginative publicity composed of previews, novelizations and interviews, the film appealed to both the critics and the audience. Immediately considered as a “masterpiece”, Cléo from 5 to 7 has resisted the trials of time and still remains very present in the histories of cinema today

Abstract:
Cléo from 5 to 7 is perhaps the most famous work of influential French filmmaker Agnès Varda, who is often called the "Grande Dame of the New Wave". The depth of symbolism, the richness of imagery, the beginnings of cinécriture (a Varda-ism describing cinema as a form of writing that uses all the tools available to a filmmaker, not just words), and the charm of the story have guaranteed Cléo's popularity with scholars and audiences alike. Current scholarship has tended to focus on a few aspects of Cléo, including her role as a flâneuse, the use of mirrors and the theme of gazing, time and the division of the film into chapters, the female gaze, and femininity. I will examine the thematic of decay, nature, and beauty in Cléo. Beginning by linking it to her more contemporary documentary The Gleaners and I, I will analyze how Varda undermines conventional ideas of health, youth, and beauty by deconstructing Cléo's world through the threat of disease, only to show how Cléo regains autonomy and control of herself by learning to embrace the inevitability of decay in nature, and in her own body. I will rely on the theories in Elaine Scarry's The Body in Pain to show how Cléo's changing relationship to her body constitute the profound transformation mentioned at the beginning of the film. I will also examine Cléo's cancer in light of Susan Sontag's essay Illness as Metaphor. We will see how Varda uses cinécriture to express these ideas, especially in regards to the dialogue between characters, visual symbols, and the use of space.

Abstract:
The theoretical part of the paper discusses the experience of educating extremely capable children in Lithuania and abroad, it also analyses the aspects of capable children‘s perception. In the research section of the paper the artistic – creative and perceptive – sociocultural competences of an 5 – 7 year old child are analysed. The study of the sources of referente has revealed that a highly capable child is likely to display the following qualities: curiousity, liveliness, keenness for exploration, creativity and sensitivity for beauty. The results of the research support the hypothesis that capable children have notable pecularities of perceptive – sociocultural competence: they tend to be intenested in technologies, they are originali n their way of thinking, have broad interests and are especialy good in logical thinking; they also quickly understand new information and use it skillfully.

Abstract:
It is obvious that great socio – economic inequality in our society keeps growing up. Unemployment makes the daily life rather difficult for many people who are forced to receive smaller income, change their life regulations and rhythm as well as to experience psychological tenseness and lack of confidence in their future. Their socio – economical activities decline thus causing their social loneliness that contradicts to human social development. The problems of unemployment influence both jobless people and their families. The aim of the surwey is to evaluate the peculiarities of the institutional education of a child who is brought up in socio – cultural backgrounds of poverty. 402 children from different towns and villages of Lithuania participated in the surwey, 90 of them were from poor socio – cultural environment. The survey aimed to compare the peculiarities of communication competence, attitude towards healthy way of life, intelectual and cognitive skills, ethical development, nud for socio – cultural interests and experience between the children living in ordinary economic conditions and children living in rather poor economic conditions. Tyrimo subjektas. 5-7metų amžiaus lankantys ikimokyklinę įstaigą ir turintys laikysenos sutrikimų bei kojų „X” deformaciją vaikai. Tyrimo problema. Vaikų su ydinga kūno laikysena ikimokykliniame amžiuje daugėja. Tai aktuali šių dienų problema. Žaidimas kompiuteriu, mažas fizinis aktyvumas turi įtakos raumenų silpnumui, asimetriškumui vystytis, o susilpnėjus raumenims vystosi laikysenos pokyčiai. Ydinga laikysena nagrinėjama daugelyje darbų, o vaikų kojų deformacijai skiriamas menkas dėmesys. Vaikams iki 5 metų pasitaikančios deformacijos yra trumpalaikės, 90 proc. atvejų praeina savaime, o 10 proc. atvejų liga gali progresuoti, deformacijos sunkėti, prognozė blogėti, ypač tai pastebima brendimo laikotarpiu.( Paukštys ir Vasiliauskienė, 2006). Todėl svarbi ankstyva laikysenos diagnostika ir sutrikimų profilaktika. Hipotezė. Vaikams dėl laikysenos sutrikimų ir „X”, kojų deformacijos tikslinga taikyti specialius fizinius pratimus. The subject of research. 5-7 year-old preschool children with carriage disorders and „X” leg deformation attending preschool institution. The problem surrounding this investigation. The number of preschool children with carriage disorder are increasing. Nowadays it is an urgent problem. Playing with computer, lack of physical activities result in the weekness of muscles and as development of asymmetry which, in turn, cause changes in the carriage. The carriage disorder has been investigated in many works while the problem of „X” leg deformation is not so widely discussed. Children up to 5 years old have short-term deformations and in 90% cases they disappear without treatment, but in 10% cases the illness may develop, deformation and prognosis become worse, especially in maturation period. The development of a creative personality is becoming more and more significant in the rapidly changing world. The aim of this work is to reveal the peculiarities of 5 –7 year old children verbal and nonverbal creative thinking. In the first (theoretical) part problems of creativity and creative thinking are analysed. In the second (practical) part the results of research on the indices of verbal and nonverbal creative thinking of pre – school children (5–7) are analysed. The object of research – creativity of 5 – 7 year children and education of creativity. The aim of research – to reveal the peculiarities of 5 – 7 year old children verbal and nonverbal creative thinking. The tasks of research: 1) to analyse the indices of creativity among girls and boys; 2) to analyse the indices of creativity among 5 and 7 year old children; 3) to analyse the indices of creativity among children from Vilnius and Alytus.
