We study specific aspects of the relationship between the stellar content and the intracluster media (ICM) of galaxy clusters. First, we attempt to solve the long-standing difficulty in explaining the highly enriched ICM by including a previously unaccounted for stellar component: the intracluster stars. Many-Body Perturbation Theory is put to test as a method for reliable calculations of the electron-electron interaction in two-dimensional quantum dots. We show that second order correlation gives qualitative agreement with experiments on a level which was not found within the Hartree-Fock description. We present INCREMENT, a cluster refinement algorithm which utilizes user feedback to refine clusterings. INCREMENT is capable of improving clusterings produced by arbitrary clustering algorithms. The initial clustering provided is first sub-clustered to improve query efficiency. A small set of select instances from each of these sub-clusters are presented to a user for labelling. Some Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) emit jets of radio-emitting plasma which travel at relativistic speeds. In clusters of galaxies these AGN are surrounded by a thermal gas – the intra-cluster medium (ICM) – which bathes the galaxies. The temperature of the ICM is 10<sup>7</sup> to 10<sup>8</sup> K and so emits X-rays. The AGN jets plough into the ICM and inflate bubbles of relativistic plasma. These bubbles eventually detach and rise up through the cluster.
