Abstract:
In distributed data storage, a particular dataset can reside at multiple locations in order to get high availability .Thus, the dataset can be downloaded in parallel from multiple nodes.Throughput between server and client changes dynamically, so the downloading speed can vary unpredictably. A dynamic parallel downloading algorithm based on measurement of bandwidth and bandwidth prediction is produced in this paper and server caching is adopted in order to improve downloading speed. The algorithm dynamically adjusts downloading of the last block to make parallel downloading from multiple serve

The article is devoted to the influence of economic, social, communicative and marketing factors on the audience and gives a cross-cultural analysis of consuming entertainment services including cinema attendance. Dwelling on the development of such film market segments as on-line cinemas, paid movie streaming, downloading films, games, music, etc.. which broaden the consumers choice and demonstrate the power of theatrical distribution competitors, the authors justify the use of marketing techniques (social network promotion, branding and co-branding programs, etc.) for enhancing the audiences

Co-dominant markers’ data are often analysed as if they were dominant markers, an over-simplification that may be misleading. Addressing this, the present paper aims to provide a practical guide to the analysis of co-dominant data and selection of suitable software. An overview is provided of the computational methods and basic principles necessary for statistical analyses of co-dominant molecular markers to determine genetic diversity and molecular characterization of germplasm collections. Cervical, endometrial, and breast cancers are common diseases studied in the field of gynecology. We conducted a series of bioinformatics analyses on these different gynecological cancers. After downloading mRNA microarray data on these gynecological cancers from the TCGA database, we applied a differential analysis. We combined the differential genes obtained from each disease sample and obtained 2,353 public differential genes (P <0.01). Through a weighted gene co-expression network analysis, we obtained five functional disorder modules, and found the essential genes to be LHFP, DNAJC27,

The cloud computing is defined as a computing paradigm that enables suitable, universal, on-demand network access of various computing resources like data storage, OS (Operating System), computer applications and software as well. A Cloud model essentially is characterized with features like on-demand self-service, better network access, resource distribution, elasticity and measured services. Adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients report a need for support to stay in contact with loved ones after diagnosis. In response to this the Dutch AYA ‘Young & Cancer’ Care Network co-created the mobile application ‘AYA Match’. This study describes the cocreational process, the characteristics of the users and their expectations regarding the app. 121 AYA cancer patients and 37 loved ones completed a questionnaire. 68.6% of the loved ones reported ‘staying in contact’ and ‘finding out about the needs and wishes of ‘their AYA’ during this time’ as the main reasons for downloading

Abstract Cancer immunotherapy targeting co-inhibitory pathways by checkpoint blockade shows remarkable efficacy in a variety of cancer types. However, only a minority of patients respond to treatment due to the stochastic heterogeneity of tumor microenvironment (TME). Recent advances in single-cell RNA-seq technologies enabled comprehensive characterization of the immune system heterogeneity in tumors but posed computational challenges on integrating and utilizing the massive published datasets to inform immunotherapy. Abstract:
Colposcopy plays a vital role in detecting cervical cancer. Artificial intelligence-based methods have been implemented in the literature for the classification of colposcopy images. However, there is a need for a more effective method that can accurately classify cervigrams. In this paper, ColpoClassifier, a hybrid framework for the classification of cervigrams, is proposed, which consists of feature extraction followed by classification. This paper uses a Gray-level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM), a Gray-level run length matrix (GLRLM), and a histogram of gradients (HOG) for feature extraction.

This chapter examines both the ‘uploading’ and the ‘downloading’ dimensions of Europeanization in justice and home affairs. Germany has been quite active – and in some cases, such as Schengen and Europol – also relatively successful in trying to ‘upload’ domestic preferences and models to the European level. But Europeanization has remained very much a government-led process with hardly any impact on public opinion and society. The ‘downloading’ has been largely limited to selective legislative changes as a result of the growing EC/EU acquis, and to the increased involvement of administrative
