Abstract:
For complex computer networks with many tunable parameters and network performance objectives, the task of selecting the ideal network operating state is difficult. To improve the performance of these kinds of networks, this research proposes the idea of the cognitive network. A cognitive network is a network composed of elements that, through learning and reasoning, dynamically adapt to varying network conditions in order to optimize end-to-end performance. In a cognitive network, decisions are made to meet the requirements of the network as a whole, rather than the individual network compo

博士
長庚大學
機械工程學系
101
In this dissertation, a multi-objective optimization method based on the DIRECT (DIviding RECTangles) algorithm, abbreviated as MO-DIRECT, is proposed. The DIRECT algorithm is an efficient single-objective global optimization procedure which treats the design space as a high dimensional cube, and deterministically searches in this space through systematic selection and division operations. The MO-DIRECT incorporates the concept of Pareto-optimality with the DIRECT algorithm to find a set of trade-off solutions by arbitrating a growing Pareto-front. Benchmark perf

We can't solve problem only with Reductionism or Attribution no more. Because upon reason, we can use a concept of System Dynamics with dynamic complexity, causal relationship, feedback loop, nonlinear relationship and time delay to think about problem and solve problem. System Dynamics make people know the structure of system and then control the behavior of system. For historical reasons, optimization has

Abstract:
Constraint-based models of metabolism seldom incorporate capacity constraints on intracellular fluxes due to the lack of experimental data. This can sometimes lead to inaccurate growth phenotype predictions. Meanwhile, other forms of data such as fitness profiling data from growth competition experiments have been demonstrated to contain valuable information for elucidating key aspects of the underlying metabolic network. Hence, the optimal capacity constraint identification (OCCI) algorithm is developed to reconcile constraint-based models of metabolism with fitness profiling data by identify

The strategy of DBA is utilized to provide feasible initial individuals that close to local or global minimum as the initial population for GA within a small number of iterations. In order to increase the exploitation in search, probability-based immigration strategy settles new individual out of original populati
